Henry’s POV

Gift? Check. Rose? Check. Ok violin boy, ya ready for school today! I know it would be awkward to give my bestie, Amber a valentine’s day gift, so I’m just gonna put it under her  table and pray that she sees it. :P Off to school! :D

30 MIN LATER……..

I spied my surroundings to make sure no one saw me. I slipped the gifts under her table and went back to my own class. >_< I hope she likes it…….

Key’s POV

Today’s Valentine day. For the past few years, I didn’t do anything on that day but this year was different. It was special. I picked up my bag and guitar and left for school. Once in school, I took a slip of paper and put it in Amber’s locker. After that, I went to class and pretended nothing had happened. I hope Amber sees the paper, only then would my plan be in action. OMO! I hope there won’t be interruptions….

Amber’s POV

I opened my locker to get my books and tons of chocolate boxes rained down on me. Aishhhttt….what’s this?  I picked them up one by one and brought it to class. On my table, another huge pile of gifts were sitting pretty on my desk and waiting for me. I put all the gifts on the table and started arranging them. Everyone was staring in envy and there was awkward tension in the room. Suddenly, a small red box caught my attention. It had a rose tied to it and had my favourite number on it. I slowly opened it, cautious of the material inside it. To my surprise, it was a shiny red silver bracelet! WHAO!! That’s so expensive…like how the heck??!! “YO sis! Lemme help you with the presents ok?” Jonghyun suddenly popped out of nowhere and took the boxes to who knows where.i was going through the gifts when I saw a piece of yellow paper stuck between 2 boxes. I yanked it out and read it. ‘Hi. This is Key. I was wondering if you don’t mind that we have math tuition on Mons and Tues? If it’s possible, meet me at the same bench as yesterday after school. Thank you.’ I took down a metal note of the information of the paper and stuffed it in mt pocket. Jonghyun came back and helped me with the gifts too. Aigooo…I have such a loving dino bro. ^^

AFTER  SCHOOL......

Henry’s POV

“Hey Amber! Wanna play basket ball?” I suggested. “oh…miahe…..but I need to tutor Key today. Hang out with you tomorrow k?” she said as she zig zag across the hallway and out of the doors. My shoulders sagged as  I watched her slowly disappear into the crowd.

Key’s POV

Every few seconds, my eyes would be on my watch. I tapped my foot impatiently as I waited for Amber. Part of me still had that lingering hope that she would come but the other me said to give up. Sighs, maybe she didn’t get the message after all… :( I was all ready to leave when I saw Amber rushing up to me. “Sooo …. sorry I’m late!...can we start now?” Without a moment to lose, we started on some problem sums and revision of the day’s work. Ok…………..Time is now!! >.< in the middle of our revision, I interrupted her and smiled bashfully. She gave me the ‘what-are-you-doing’ type of look and crossed her arms. It’s now or never! I took out my guitar and sang her the song that I had been practicing for the whole night for.

Omo…how would she react to this?? >.< My face was turning redder and redder by the second. I took the rose attached at the neck of my guitar and kneeled down. I took a deep breath and concluded, “Amber, would you be my valentine?”

Amber’s POV

Wait…..WHAT?????!!! You gotta be kiddin me…oh my goshhh. Utterly speechless. I swallowed hard and we just stared at each other for a loooong time. Slowly but still unsure, I reached out my hands and plucked the rose from his palms. Ok…this better not lead to anything funny….and nobody watches this! He got up and gave a nervous laugh, trying to break the silence between us. Oh well, must as well give this a shot. We packed our stuff and Key brought me to the front of a café. We walked in and took a seat. The ambience was cozy and warm. There won’t many people at that time so we took a window seat and ordered some desserts. “soooo….why did you bring me here?” I asked. Key shrugged while munching on the strawberry cheese cake. I was really puzzled. He asked me out and now he won’t talk? I rolled my eyes…….why do I sense that someone is watching us?? I looked around and everyone was just minding their own business. “Ummm…..so you like the cake?”Key asked. Finally he is talking. =.=” Key looked down and shuffled his feet, not knowing what to say next. Luckily, I brought up a topic that we were both familiar with and we managed to strike up a conversation. After we finished, Key insisted on bringing me home as he said that it was dangerous.Like who was the one who saved his when he got beaten up? =.=”

IN THE HOUSE……

I arrived back in the living room with two cans of soft drinks. Key was fiddling with his guitar again. “Why do you always play the guitar?” I asked. Key looked up and replied, “Well…..cause I’m bored? Anyways there is no reason to me wanting to play the guitar. Plus I’m good at it.” I shrugged cuddled with a cushion as I heard him sing.

Key’s POV

As I sang the last verse of the song, the door cranked open and Jonghyun burst in. he raised his eyebrows and asked for an explaination. I bit my lower lip and creeped away from Amber and towards Jonghyun. A small chuckle was all I could muster. Before anything else could happen, I ran for the door, leaving behind the dumbfounded Amber and Jonghyun. I am such a coward don’t you think? The date rewind in my head and I wished that this valentine’s day won’t be my last.

Jonghyun’s POV

I wonder why Donghae is so cranky about Amber dating a guy…..maybe its sister complex. :l He is so overprotective of her…ever….since…our mum died. Tears threatened to roll down my cheeks as I thought about that night. I stiffened, trying hard not to cry. I brushed the memory aside when I spotted Key and my sis walking together. This is interesting….  Being the mischievous one, I decided to follow them. They went to a café and then went back to my house. I peered through the window and waited for awhile before I went to bash the ‘party’. I opened the door and pretended to look surprise. Before I could say a word, Key rushed past me and scooted away. So much for wanting to tell him my future plans. I sat on the sofa and questioned Amber on why key was at our place. She explained everything from head to toe in vivid details. Teheee…..I know that all already. :D “Was it fun? Did you enjoy it? Are you sure you aren’t dating him?” I bombarded her. Amber gave me the ‘what-the-heck’ look but I could see that her cheeks were going feisty pink-ish.  My mouth formed a smirk. I decided not to pry anymore and went back to my room. Wait and see…..just wait and see…..
