NINE

One day has passed yet the two haven’t made any interactions yet. Minho had told Onew about what happen while Sulli called Luna that night though she thought about it twice since her best friend is pregnant after all but she had no one to call that time.

Sulli even talked to Minho’s uncle saying she was sorry and they resumed about the plan on gowns and dresses that his daughter would use. He also made sure that the 18 roses will have the same suit designs, still made by Sulli… that kept Sulli busy.

Minho on the other hand was also busy with the upcoming CMH Village Taiwan. It’s an annual concert of all CMH Artists in different countries, and this time they’re off to Taiwan.

“He’s leaving day after tomorrow, you can bring him there tomorrow.” Luna suggested as she settled beside Onew on the bed. It’s night time and they’re trying to figure out how to make the couple talk. Luna felt sad for the two, especially hearing Sulli cry over the phone that night. For her, the two of them had a fault in the situation and they just have to figure things out. It’s not the first time that Onew and Luna were the one who’s being bothered by this certain lover’s quarrel of the couple.

“How about you? You’re not going to the hospital tomorrow, you want to come with us?” Onew asked.

“No, I’ll go to Sulli’s shop and talk to her… I know she needs me… and I want to meet her together with Sulli.” Luna replied with a smile which made Onew held her hand and kiss it.

“I’m sure they’ll be okay in no time.” Onew said.

“Ofcourse, Minho can’t call off the wedding proposal, he has been planning for this for some time now.” Luna replied with a smile, she was sure that her best friend and brother-in-law are just waiting for things to subside between them before talking.

“Where are we going?” Minho asked for the nth time. This morning after breakfast he was supposed to attend a whole day meeting with a sponsor… he can’t understand why it was scheduled for the whole day but his secretary said that it was a personal request as he moved several scheduled meetings. He was surprised when Onew said that he wasn’t actually meeting a sponsor rather than it was him who asked for the whole day schedule. He wanted to protest but Onew has dragged him inside his car as Luna was watching them with amusement.

“You’ll see when we get there.” Onew replied with a smile, though he was also nervous. He has known about her whereabouts for quite some time now but it’s the first time he’s visiting her and he decided to bring Minho.

“This pregnant woman really loves to stroll around.” Sulli said with a smile as she approached Luna who has just entered her shop.

“I’ve got nothing to do so I came here… it’ll be a habit.” Luna replied.

“Do you want something?”

“No, I’m still full…. I just came here to check you out.” Luna declined her offer as Sulli returned infront of the mannequin and started to put touch ups on the dress.

“When do you plan to talk?” Luna asked.

“I don’t know.” Sulli replied shortly.

“Ssul, Minho is leaving tomorrow, he’s staying in Taiwan for three days for CMH concert there.”  Luna informed her… which she already know. Actually, she and Minho had a plan about that Taiwan trip, after three days, they can stay for atleast another day to spend some time together.

“I know.”

“And?”

“I don’t know.”

“This conversation is going nowhere Ssul.” Luna even pouted to show disappointment.

“I’m sorry…. It’s just that, I don’t know how to make it up to him… I know it both our fault… but-“

“Pride my dear?”

Sulli just sighed. She never really cared about pride… when they have a fight before, there is always that someone who would do the first step and it’s usually Minho. At this point, Sulli wanted to do it first but she doesn’t know how… especially that Minho is busy these days.

“I know you want to make the first move deary…. All you have to do is think… how you are going to do it…” Luna advice which just made Sulli nodded, though she still can’t think about what to do.

Minho’s jaw almost drops upon seeing the woman who went out of the house as she escorted the little girl and her husband. Even Onew couldn’t believe that it’s really her…. Their Nanny Annie.

As Annie lost the sight of her husband and daughter, she turned around to enter the house when she suddenly caught a sight of a car parked near their house with two guys leaning on it. She immediately turned around and covered as tears started to form in her eyes.

She can’t believe it.

They’re really here.

Her two babies.

The last time someone came was to ask about her situation and all, the guy even asked for her current photo. The moment she asked if what was the reason and purpose of the man, tears welled in her eyes when the man said that he was tasked by Onew to look for her.

The next thing she know, the two guys were already in her embrace, crying.

“Oh my babies, you’ve grown so well.” Annie said upon breaking the hug and cupped their faces.

“Nanny Annie.” Those were the only words escaped from both of them as they stared at her. They have longed to see her since she left them… and now here she is, finally infront of them.

Sulli slumped herself in the couch as she looked up the ceiling, she’s still in her shop with some staffs to finish the touch ups of the gowns for a wedding.

She closed her eyes as she tried to think about what to do… she must admit it’s really something petty reason to fight with…. And she should have tried to understand… Minho wouldn’t do that if he’s not tired. Juggling the entertainment, his family’s pressure and her… it may be too much for him… and to add on that…. She badly misses him.

Minho sighed as he has finally closed his luggage after packing things for his three days stay in Taiwan with his artists. This trip was also supposed to be a mini vacation for him and Sulli… but it ended the other way.

He can clearly remember what his nanny told her earlier when he told him about what happened to him and his girlfriend….

“Girls doesn’t really want to be controlled… didn’t I tell you that before?” his nanny asked as she touched his shoulder.

Minho nodded.

“And the way you describe your girlfriend, she seemed to be a refined woman with ethics… and what you did seemed to be off for her. I understand your stand in the situation… but maybe you should also try to understand that your girlfriend is not just a simple girl, she has values.” His nanny continued.

And still, he just nodded. He understand what she was trying to point out here, and he himself knew that he acted off infront of his uncle, which reminds him that he should say sorry.

“You may not be able to settle things now…. But I know you will soon…. I still need to meet the woman who’s going to marry my baby.” Annie said as she cupped Minho’s face and smiled.

Sulli couldn’t help but smile with the twitter tweets she’s reading. It’s the second day of concert and she’s seeing a lot of ‘fangirl tweets’ for her… baby. She’s been giggling since she started reading and seeing Minho’s photos taken by fans. He really knows how to communicate with them… another thing she likes from him.

But there was a part of her that’s being jealous…. She has the rights right?... and that thought just made her chuckle as she continue browsing photos of Minho uploaded by fans…. And what surprised her more was the tag #CEOMinho was even trending… how can a non-artist CEO be this well known to fans? That’s another magic her baby has.

While waiting for the concert to start, Minho got his phone and was planning to check on the social media’s response regarding the concert, but one of his SNS account got his attention…. It was the private SNS account where he and Sulli would usually exchange sweet and cheesy photos when they’re away from each other… especially during her London trip.

“And why is it that time speeds and slows depending on your attendance? I’d like a steady clock, a reliable clock, isolated from the progressive beating of my heart.”

“I don’t care if we talk about absolutely nothing… I just want to talk to you.”

“The silence isn't so bad, till I look at my hands and feel sad. Because the spaces between my fingers are right where yours fit perfectly."

Sulli has posted several selcas with some quotes and Minho knows that it was all about them…. For him…. For their relationship. She couldn’t help but admire her beauty… and it makes him miss her more. She perfectly look like a baby… a giant baby… His giant baby. He promised himself that once he returns to Korea, she’ll be the first person he’ll see to say sorry.

The plane has landed and he’s now on his way out of the airport. It’s the entertainment’s driver who’s off to fetch him. He was busy checking messages when a notification vibrated his phone. It was a notification that Sulli posted on her SNS. He wanted to check it later but something was in it that still made him open it….

And his eyes widened upon seeing it.

He immediately searched around to see her. To his left, to his right. Some of this artists and staffs asked if there was something wrong… but he didn’t reply.

Notification vibrated his phone again.

He seemed to look for someone?? ^^

He continued to look around….

And suddenly saw a lady holding a placard with other fans.

‘Welcome back CMH! Hello CEO Minho!’

He was curious about that lady, she was covering her face yet he has a gut feeling that he knows her…. That it’s actually her.

As he took several steps towards her… she lowered down the card revealing none other than…

Choi Sulli with one of the sweetest smile on her face.

And that, made him smile himself.

Again…

She never fails to surprise him.

He signaled to open his arms.

And Sulli who has been missing to be in his embrace immediately run towards him like a child and hugged him tight.

“I’m sorry.” Then both whispered on eachother’s ears…

Without minding about the other people around them.
