TEN

“Is this enough, should I cook another dish?” Annie is restless as she continue to pace back and forth around the kitchen, obviously, cooking.

“Honey will you relax? I’m sure they’ll like this…. It’s you who made it afterall.” Her husband tried to sooth her from being nervous.

“How can I relax? The last time they came here I had nothing to prepare since I was scheduled for marketing… then now they’re even going with their girlfriend and wife… how would you expect me to react?” Annie replied anxiously.

“Okay-okay dear I get it…. Let me finish this for you then start the other dishes, I’m sure it won’t take long until they arrive here.” Her husband said as he got the knife from her and continued cutting. She  first gave him a sweet smile and proceeded to what she needed to do. She knows that he wasn’t her first priority before, but maybe after the door of being a nanny closed, the door of being  good housewife to a wonderful man opened for her.

“Where are we going?” Sulli asked as she entered the van. She’s now in a van with Onew, Minho and Luna together with a driver.

“We’re off to somewhere baby.” Minho simply replied with a smile which made Sulli pout.

“Dubu, where?” Luna turned her attention to her husband as she showed cuteness, but it just made Onew smile at her.

“Won’t work for me now honey… just relax, sleep if you want and we’ll wake you up when we arrive.” Onew replied as he and Minho exchanged glance and chuckled.

The whole ride became silent as Luna fell asleep on Onew’s shoulder. Minho and Sulli on the other hand were busy watching the telecast of CMH Ville Taiwan and Sulli kept on nudging him everytime the camera focuses or passes on his side.

“Don’t you think their CEO is just too handsome?” Minho confidently asked as he stares on his i-pad. They shared earphones in order not to bother the sleeping pregnant woman infront of them.

“Their CEO is too confident… tssss…” Sulli hissed.

“CEO won’t be confident if he doesn’t know it’s true.” Minho countered as he faced Sulli.

“CEO’s head is probably bloated now… after trending for three consecutive days during the concert.” Sulli replied as she rolled her eyes while Minho made face.

“But I bet the girlfriend of the CEO is prouder knowing what the CEO has achieved.” Minho then said.

“Ofcourse she’s too proud of him… but the girlfriend hopes that the CEO won’t entertain fans anymore…. he’s not an artist after all.” Sulli replied with a pout. She knows that those fangirls that are fangirling over CEO Minho are just nothing…. But she just can’t help herself knowing that her boyfriend is being fantasized by others…. And yes that’s the possessive side of Choi Sulli.

“So the girlfriend is jealous?”

“Ofcoruse not.”

“Eeeeehh…. In denial.” Minho poked her side which made her giggle but immediately shoved his hand away.

“Act your age Mr. CEO.”

“But Mr. CEO’s girlfriend is not telling the truth.” Minho kept on poking her side which made Sulli giggle nonstop as it ended up that he was already tickling her.

“SSssssssshhhhh!” Onew reprimanded them as their noise made his wife stir from her sleep,

“Ooopss…. Sorry.” They both replied with still, a soft giggle.

“Honey wake up, we’re almost there.” Onew tapped Luna’s shoulder to awaken his wife.

“Baby wake up.” Minho also taps Sulli’s shoulder to wake her up. He was surprised when she suddenly fell asleep, well they really did travel far.

“Where are we really going?” Sulli asked as she had oriented herself.

“You and sister-in-law are going to meet Nanny Annie.” Minho replied happily which made Luna and Sulli’s eyes widen.

“What?! Are you serious?!” Sulli’s jaw dropped, she wanted to meet her… but how come they’re coming to her place empty handed?!

Minho has already told her after they made up that he met his nanny and even told her that she’s excited to meet Sulli…. But Sulli didn’t expect that it’ll happen too soon.

“Yaah! Dubu! How dare you bring us here and come to her empty handed?!” Luna even slapped Onew’s arm which just made him laugh.

“Don’t worry, nanny never thinks about those things… all she wanted is to meet the girls of our lives.” Onew assured the two which just made them pout. It was like a déjà vu feeling when they met Onew and Minho’s family the first time.

“They’re here!” Ji Hyun excitedly exclaimed as she saw a van parked infront of their house.

  Annie and her husband hurriedly went out of the house to welcome their visitors.

The van’s door then opened revealing  Minho as he assisted Sulli from going down the car. Onew then followed as he assisted his pregnant wife.

Annie couldn’t help but smile upon seeing how hands on and concerned her two boys are.

“Nanny!” the two guys acted like kindergarten boys as they ran towards her for a hug. They also paid respect to Annie’s wife and daughter.

“And this beautiful ladies?” Annie turned her attention to the two who were just smiling at her. Annie immediately felt light upon seeing them, they brought positive aura which surely made her boys fall for the two.

“Nanny this is Luna, my wife…. And my soon to be baby.” Onew introduced Luna and even caressed her bump upon ‘introducing’ his baby.

“Nice to meet you nanny.” Luna said as she paid respect. Annie responded as she held Luna’s hand.

“You are a very pretty pregnant lady, I’m sure that you are carrying a very healthy baby.” Annie said which just made Luna smile.

“And nanny this is Sulli, my girlfriend.” Minho then introduced Sulli as she paid her respect.

“Girlfriend? Soon to be wife then?” Annie kidded which made Sulli blush, same as Minho while Onew and Luna exchanged meaningful glances.

Sulli couldn’t help but think about what Annie said, well…. It’s a usual talk for them to actually have the topic about ‘marriage’. It would either be because Sulli has a costumer for a wedding, or an artist that they know is getting married… but they seldom talk about themselves as the one to get married.

“You better enter and let’s have some lunch, I know you’re starving, it took you hours of ride before arriving here.” Her husband suddenly spoke as he opened their house for them to enter.

As Sulli and Luna entered, they were surprised to actually see a corner of the house with Minho and Onew’s picture. Some were even baby pictures with Annie carrying them. It simply says how long has she stayed with the Choi(s).

“Who is this squishy guy?” Luna playfully said as she held the frame which made her and Sulli laugh, even Annie joined the laughter as Onew blushed, even Minho felt blood rush into his cheeks as Sulli held a photo of him with a girl and nanny Annie during his birthday.

“So is this CEO Minho’s first love?” Sulli asked with a mischievous smile.

“Isn’t she pretty?” Annie added as Sulli nodded which just made Minho look down in fluster. Onew just patted his back as if supporting him.

“She’s pretty Minho, where is she now?” Sulli said as she looks at Minho who continued to look down.

“Nanny, you should seriously keep this picture.” Minho suddenly said as he got the frame from Sulli which made everyone laugh.

“Oh Minho if you can only see your face.” Annie said as he touched Minho’s face which made him pout.

“Baby, I know that girl right? You told me about her before.” Sulli finally gave up her front as she faced Minho with an eyesmile. The girl in the photo was one of Minho’s classmates who attended his birthday party.

“Before these two guys are flustered for more, let’s head to the dining, the food is ready.” Annie interrupted as she realized that there were still a lot of photos displayed which may again catch the attention of the two girls.

As they entered the dining they were surprised to see different dishes displayed, specialty of their only nanny.

“Nanny you really prepared a lot.” Onew said as he smelled the aroma.

“My initial plan was to cook your favorite dishes then I realized that what about these two girls so I added several ones, hoping that they’ll like it.” Annie replied as she got the table ready.

“Oh Ms. Annie, thank you so much.” Luna and Sulli said as they hugged Annie from the side, it made the two boys smile.

“Ms. Annie is too formal, just call me nanny just like how the two boys does.” Annie told them as she assisted them to sit on their chair.

The two girls first glanced at the boys as they nodded.

“Nanny.” Luna and Sulli both said which made Annie smile.

The whole lunch period was filled with stories and laughter. They talked about how they met, how it progressed and how they ended to be in such relationship now.  Sulli and Luna also learned several things during Onew and Minho’s childhood such as hiding candies and junk foods in their room but would end up be surprised of its sudden disappearance… just to find out that Annie hid it in her room.

After their meal, Onew and Minho together with Annie’s husband and their daughter had some time to talk about random things… while Annie and the girls were inside the kitchen, obviously chatting.

“It seems like I can clearly see forever ahead of you girls.” Annie said as she started to clean up while the girls were helping her. Luna giggled while Sulli smiled.

“Why just smile dear?” Annie asked Sulli.

“Nothing… I just don’t know what to say.” Sulli replied.

“Why? Minho hasn’t asked you yet?” Annie asked which also made Luna glance at Sulli, waiting for her expression.

“No… and I don’t want to assume yet. Yes we may be in the right age but still... we’ll see if we’ll reach that point.” Sulli replied which made Luna’s eyes widen. So…. Sulli is actually thinking that it may not happen?

“Oh dear why are you saying that? Ofcourse you will… in the right time you will… and I will be one of the happiest person if that happens.” Annie gave her a warm smile.

“Ssul, nanny is right… in the right time it’ll happen… I’m sure Minho also has no one in mind to be with him forever rather than you.” Luna added.

“I don’t even know why I’m acting this way…” Sulli replied with a pout. She had this thoughts since their last fight.

“Maybe it was because of your fight.” Annie said which surprised Sulli.

“Don’t be too surprised dear… he told me about it the other day… it was just a mere fight Ssul… that does not conclude or give answered to your question whether you’ll reach that point or not… just be positive, time will come that it’ll happen.” Annie added.

Sulli suddenly felt this way since the fight… she knows that on her age she’s ready to be Mrs. Choi. She’s ready to be Minho’s wife… yes she knows it’s like saying things before it happens… but she can’t help it… ever since she and Minho started their relationship, she started to dream about forever… she wanted him to be the one… and she won’t stop believing that he will be.

Onew chuckled and patted Minho’s shoulder.

“She’s waiting for it… time to propose.” Onew said before going back to the living room. Minho smiled. They were just planning to get some drinks when they heard them talking… and coincidentally, the topic was about proposal…. And it made him smile… he had confidence that it’ll be a successful engagement if Sulli doesn’t change her mind.

“Ssul, Ssul we’re here, wakey-wakey sleepyhead.” Minho poked Sulli’s cheeks but ended up kissing it to wake her up. He immediately smiled upon seeing her stir, it always works when he wakes her up.

“Where are we?” Sulli asked, half-awake.

“We’re in your house already, want me to just carry you inside?” Minho asked but Sulli shook her head for a no.

“I can walk you know.” Sulli hissed as she has finally woken up.

“Okay then… let’s go.” Minho said as he opened the door, careful not to make noise since Onew and Luna were both sleeping.

“I really enjoyed today… thank you for letting us meet nanny Annie.” Sulli said as she stood infront of their gate, the security has actually opened the door already.

“Not a problem baby… I’m sure that it’s what Nanny wanted…. And I know that you really should meet someone from our past… and she really likes you and Luna.” Minho replied as he held Sulli’s hand.

“I’ll get going so you can rest… Onew and Luna might develop cramps with their sleeping position.” Sulli said as she can see Onew and Luna’s situation inside the van.

“Okay then, you should get in too…. Goodnight baby, I love you.” Minho finally said as he and Sulli shared a quick peck on the lips.

“Okay, be home safe, goodnight and I love you too.” Sulli replied as she cupped Minho’s face then turned to enter the gate.

Sulli was about to enter when Minho called her.

“Baby.”

“Yes?” it made Sulli stop and face him.

“Ugh…. Nothing… nevermind… goodnight.” Minho was taken aback by his thoughts and just gave her a smile. Sulli just replied with her signature eye smile and entered the house.

“Soon baby… you’ll have to answer a specific question from me…” Minho muttered with a smile as he entered the van to head home.
