His lips crashed into yours, hands already tugging your shirt off. You moaned his name and pulled him closer, needing him...

“_______, are you even listening to me?”

“Uh... what? I mean, yeah, totally!” You felt your face heat up, shaking away the remnants of your dream.

Taehyung frowned at you skeptically. Why did he have to look so gorgeous? If he didn’t maybe you wouldn’t have had that dream about him last night. That dream where his beautiful body was on top of yours, those plump lips ravishing your skin...

You shook your head again, cursing inwardly and telling yourself to forget the dream and focus on your friend!

“You’re acting kinda strange, ______. You okay? Your face looks kinda red.” Taehyung reached out a hand to your forehead and all you could think about was that hand grabbing your neck and pulling you closer.

“I’m fine!” You squeaked, pulling away before he could touch you. 

“You sure? Cause you don’t sound fine.” He leaned closer, eyes looking at you intensely. You remembered those same eyes from your dream, gazing lustfully at you while his lips told you how long he’d wanted to do this.

You flinched away again, staring at the ground rather than Taehyung’s eyes.

“What the hell, ______? Did I do something to you?”

“No...”

“Then why are you flinching away from me like that? I thought we were friends but you’re looking like you think I’m gonna hit you or something.” He sounded hurt and you needed to make him understand that it wasn’t his fault.

“It’s not that, I just... had this dream last night and...” You closed your eyes, feeling the heat on your cheeks as you remembered the all to realistic feeling of Taehyung’s bare skin on yours from the dream.

“Okay? What did I murder you in the dream or something? Heck, the way you’re blushing makes it seem like you had a dream about me or something.” There was a hint of laughter in Taehyung’s voice and you knew he was trying to make light of the situation to make you feel better. Instead he had unwittingly stumbled upon the truth and it just made you blush harder.

You felt his gaze on you, felt him stiffen up next to you as you didn’t respond.

“You... actually had a dream about me?”

You nodded and hid your face in your hands, too embarrassed to even look at him. Had you just gone and ruined your friendship? Heck, what if he found out you’d actually had a crush on him for a while? How could you not, with someone as perfect as him? And now he probably wouldn’t even want to hang out with you any more. ‘Good job, brain.’ You thought, mentally hitting yourself for admitting to him that you’d had the dream.

Then Taehyung’s laughter broke your train of thought. You looked up to find him grinning at you, laughter still pouring out.

“What, is that all? You don’t have to get so freaked out by a little dream. Of course you’d dream about me, I’m frickin hawt, you know?” He winked at you, making your stomach flip. “If it makes you feel better I’ve had a couple about you, too.”

Taehyung’s confession gave you butterflies. “You... you what?”

“Yeah.” He shrugged. “I mean, you’re not bad looking yourself, although you don’t compare to me of course.” He laughed sheepishly, one hand on the back of his neck. “Anyways, a dream’s just a dream. Unless you wanna make it come true it’s nothing to get worked up about.”

“What if I do?” You asked timidly.

“Huh?”

“What if I do... wanna make it come true?” You felt awkward as all hell saying it out loud but, since it had come this far, you might as well try. If Taehyung had dreamt about you in that way too then... well, it had to mean something, right?

You glanced up to see a light blush on Taehyung’s face to match your own.

“Well...” He said, biting his lip lightly in a way that made you remember your dream again, “I guess you better ask me out, then.”
