Nervously you looked into your boyfriend’s eyes.

"If you’re nervous, we can do this some other time." Namjoon offered, completely sincere. You shook your head. You were the one who had asked him to teach you how to kiss and you were determined to go through with it.

Namjoon was your first boyfriend and you always felt really awkward about the fact that you hadn’t so much as kissed anyone before him. Despite your case of the mega-ities never bothering Namjoon you began overthinking how bad you must be at all of this whenever the two of you cuddled. It didn’t help that you knew Namjoon had had at least two girlfriends before you and had done a lot more than kissing with them.

You had by now kissed Namjoon a handful of times but it had only been short pecks and, as much as you hated it, after the first time your brain always went into overthinking mode. So you had asked him to teach you.

"Okay. Just relax, then. Kissing’s easy but it’s never good if you’re so nervous and tense about it." Namjoon flashed you one of his adorable grins that you loved so much, reassuring you, if only a little bit. Still, it was easy for him to say it was easy, he’d done it plenty of times before.

Then he leaned down and, almost casually, placed his lips on yours. You closed your eyes, ordering your brain to stop the endless flood of thoughts about how he must have liked kissing his previous girlfriend’s a lot more.

You felt Namjoon’s hand on your waist and tried to relax into his touch. That was when he tickled you.

Laughter burst from your lips and you could feel Namjoon’s smile as he refused to let you go, one hand holding you tightly in his embrace while the other kept tickling you. You squirmed in his grasp, you lips no longer touching as laughter poured from you.

He stopped, then, and you looked up at him, still giggling. “What was that fo…” You were silenced by Namjoon’s mouth covering yours and, without thinking, you kissed him back. Your lips moved against his in perfect sync, both of you still smiling.

When he pulled away you asked again; “What was the tickling for?”

"Didn’t you notice?" Namjoon asked with a grin. "Just now you weren’t tense at all."

You felt dumbfounded. He was right! You had just kissed him without your brain giving out any ridiculous thoughts, you hadn’t been nervous at all! A smile appeared on your face at the realization and you laughed.

Namjoon pecked you on the nose. “See, told you it was easy.”

You smiled up at his beautiful dark eyes, which you now saw were filled with affection for you and no one else.

"I guess it is." You told him, pulling him down for another lip lock.
