You walked out of your house, happily dressed in your cutest coat to ward off the cold morning air. The snow crunched under your shoes and you took a deep breath, smiling to yourself at the weather and Christmas and everything. That was, until you saw him.

At the bottom of the stairway stood Jungkook, your extremely annoying… you supposed frienemy had to be the word. The two of you used to be friends when you started school together but at some point he got too cool to hang out with you and now he was often a complete jerk when there were people around. Weirdly enough he was still friendly if it was just the two of you. Those times he acted so casual you almost forgot the times he was a jerk. Almost.

"Hey, ____. You look cute today."

"What are you doing here, Jungkook?" You asked, walking down the stairs and intending to keep on going, not feeling like talking to him right now.

"I wanted to see you, _." You grimaced as he called you by just the first letter of your name, a thing he never used to do before he started being obsessed with his image. It didn’t help that he grabbed your arm as you tried to walk past him, stopping you.

With a sigh you turned to him. “Why’d you wanna waste your Christmas morning by coming to see me?”

"Aw, don’t be like that, _. You know I like…"

"No, I don’t know! And don’t call me _." You pulled your arm away but only made it a few steps before Jungkook blocked your way. You glared at him, your mood completely ruined. Why did he have to show up today of all days?

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asked, almost in a demanding tone.

"Not that it’s any of your business, but I’m gonna go meet Jin." You saw his eyes widen, felt a little sad. ‘No,’ you told yourself, 'I'm not letting him ruin this. Jin's sweet and he actually likes me. He'll help me forget any feelings I had for this idiot.’

"Why are you meeting with that dork?" Jungkook blocked you once more from trying to get past him, only annoying you further. You gave him a look, letting him know he was a complete fool if he couldn’t figure that out for himself.

"Oh come on, you’re not serious, ______. You can do so much better."

You scoffed. “And who exactly would be better than a sweet, good looking guy who treats me like a human being all the time, not only when his friends can’t see us.”

That hurt him, you could tell. You managed to get past Jungkook at last but before you made it more than a step his arm grabbed yours, pulling you back with force.

Before you knew what was happening his lips were on yours, his kiss filled with forceful passion that left you breathless. You began moving your hands to push him away but found the disobedient limbs pulling him closer instead, your mouth trying to keep up with his fervent kisses.

When he finally let you breath again you realized he had backed you up to the wall of your house, one of his arms on the wall, blocking any chance for you to run away.

Somewhere in the back of your mind you knew you should find him intimidating, hovering over you like that. But instead, and you weren’t quite sure what to think about this, you found him unbearably y. His lips were slightly parted and pulled up in a half smile, his breath steaming in the cold winter air, mixing with your own breath in the small space left between the two of you.

Jungkook’s whole body radiated possessiveness as his dark eyes bored into yours, his tone challenging you to object to his words as he told you: “I’d be better.”
