My name is Ashiya Park.  I'm seventeen years old, in my final year of high school.  My parents abandoned me when I was very young so I don't remember them at all.  Not long after, I was sent to an orphanage and was adopted by a very nice couple; who have looked after me since I was small.

I love them as if they were my real parents.  I'm the perfect daughter to them.  I'm not messy at all, the opposite actually, everything has to be in order.  I hate when anything is out of place or I don't know where something is.  I help out around the house whenever I can.

School although is something I have never really cared for, but my parents always expected the best from me, so for them I try to keep my grades the best possible.  I honestly don't find it hard at all; I hardly try in my classes and get excellent marks so I don't really pay much attention.

I am not really a fan of attention when I'm at school so I try to keep a low profile.  Sure, I have my close friends but I don't want to expand my relationships.  I'm not one to easily trust, so I seem cold when I meet people for the first time.

When people first meet me, they think I'm a good kid that cares about her grades and her friends.  Takes care of her family and watches her image in public.

But there is one thing very few people know about me.  Sure, I seem like a good kid, that I care about school; I look like I care what people think about me in the public eye.

These people are pretty much dead wrong.

Just like everybody else I have a secret that I don't want anybody I don't trust completely to know about.  Only a handful of people know what the secret is I'm hiding. 

Not even my parents know.  Some of my closest friends at school are completely oblivious.  What I am keeping a secret is something I never want to get out.

But, even I know a secret isn't a secret forever.  There will always be people who figure it out and want to expose it to the world.

There are even people who will betray the trust given to them, and beed by greed, who will sell your secret out.

And I expect those people to show up and tell my secret to others.

But what I didn't expect was for someone to show up and become a part of the secret itself.  I never expected there be someone who could become trapped by my secret.  Who got pulled into a world they didn't belong to all because of one thing I did.  One thing I am.
