            Reporter: “We are here live at Japan Airlines and witnessing the arrival of our beloved Onyx. Let’s try to interview him regarding his controversy with Gyuri.”

            “Onyx! Onyx! Can we interview you about the issue..” giving him the microphone.

            “I’m not gonna say anything right now, but for sure I’m going to clear this nonsense rumor.” Then he walked past the reporters. He saw his manager Leeteuk..

                       

            “Hi hyung, the issue has gone bad isn’t it?”

            “You bet, well is it true?” he asked.

            “What do you think?”

            “Well, kinda..i’ve seen you with Gyuri..”

“Me, seeing with Gyuri doesn’t mean we are an item. Remember we only worked for a commercial and seen her on my MV. But that’s it! Pure business, no malice.”

“You know it’s not bad to tell the truth. I’ve never seen you on a date with someone.” Then he whispered. “ Are you..gay?”

“I am telling the truth! And HELL NO I’m not gay! You want the truth? I’ll tell you the truth!”

They reached the SUV..

 

While in the SUV..

“I told her to wait and she did..”

“And then?”

“I’ve waited too you know.”

“Oh come on! It’s the year 2010 not 1800’s!”

“I loved her hyung since I was 10, I saw her already and my feeling’s hasn’t changed.”

            Leeteuk stared at Onyx.

            “Are you for real?”

            “Yes, I’m not lying, that’s why I told you to search for my old home. Luckily she’s still there.”

            “Does she know you’re Euhyuk?”

Onyx sighed deeply. “No not yet, I wanted to surprise her. With the lyrics she made, I going to turn it into a song.”

            “Oh well, I can’t win against a guy who is so much in love. I can see you’re truly happy to see her.”

“That’s why I needed to fix these things before the day I’ll tell her everything. Nothing can stop me.” He tapped my shoulder and said,

“I’ll support you all the way.”

“I really appreciate it, hyung.”

~~Hyoyeon’s POV~~

 

Sitting on my cubicle

“Good morning Hyoyeon” It’s my co-teacher Seohyun.

“Oh! Good morning teacher Seohyun.” I greeted her back.

“You seem a little distracted. Is there something or someone bothering you?”

“Someone? No, definitely not.” Being defensive.

“Hahaha..i see, you’re missing someone aren’t you?”

‘How did she know? Am I that transparent?’ asking myself.

“It’s nothing! I swear! (Crossing my fingers) you’re just imagining things.”

“Okay, okay, if you say so.” Still smirking at me.

 

Then Mr. Janitor entered the room.

“Where is Ms. Kim? Oh there you are! This is for you.” Handing me a bouquet of violet, yellow, white and pink tulips.

 

My eyes are wide opened while receiving the bouquet.

“Fr-from whom?”

“I don’t know ma’am, someone delivered this just now. There’s a card.” He smiled as he walked out.

 

Then teachers Yuri and Taeyeon entered the room as well.

 

“Argh! My students pisses off me sometimes.” Yuri said.

“I know exactly what you mean.” Taeyeon agreed.

And then they saw the flowers in my arms instead of me.

“Well, well, well someone sent you flowers.” Taeyeon sounded envious.

“From whom? Is it from Junho?” Yuri approached me.

“I was about to read the card.” I took out the small card from the tiny envelope and read it, it said,

            “Good Morning Hyoyeon!

                        As you were reading this, I’m already in Japan now.

                                    I hope this will make you smile!

                                                Stop missing me already! Ahahahaha!

                                                            Do well in teaching your students.

                                                                        Be patient, as always!

I Smiled. I saw Junho from the corner, wanting to approach me but he looks hesitant.

“Oh! She smiled!” Seohyun commented.

“Why? What happened?” Taeyeon asking.

“Hyoyeon seemed sad this morning.” Seohyun answered.

“Well, from who is it?” Yuri asked again.

“It’s from my new friend.”

“Friend or Boyfriend?” Yuri teasing me.

“Definitely not my boyfriend!” I blushed.

“Hahaha! You blushed!” Taeyeon.

“Because it’s getting hot in here.” Fanning myself.

 

The bell rang.

 

“Okay! Gossiping time is over!” Junho yelled.

“What a bummer!” I heard Yuri said.

“See ya later Hyo!” Taeyeon said.

“Yeah, tell me everything later okay?” Seohyun said before she go out the room.

“Maybe.”

I hid the bouquet on my locker, suddenly Junho talked from behind.

“It’s from Onyx is it?” I felt jealousy from his voice.

“Huh?” I couldn’t face him.”Yeah”

“I like you Hyoyeon!”

I gasped. “I don’t know what to say.”

“Could you please say ‘I like you too?’”

I looked on my feet and didn’t say a word.

“Just as I thought you didn’t like me one tiny bit.” I heard sadness in his voice and was about to cry.

“I’m sorry Junho..I just can’t..I have someone special..and I’m waiting for him to come back..”

“Is it Onyx?”

“No” I shook my head. ”He’s just a friend.”

He sighed a few times. “I understand, I hope he’ll come back fast cause I’ll snatch you away from him if he doesn’t come.” He smiled.

 

I gazed upon his eyes; I can’t help not to shed tears. I was touched by him being able to understand. He’s such a good soul. I hope someday he’ll find someone, someone who’s destined for him.

He wiped my tears, “I’m still your friend, please don’t hesitate.”

I didn’t say ‘Thank you’; I just hugged him, tightly. Cause words can’t express how grateful I am.

 

            Back in Japan

 

            ~~Onyx’s POV~~

 

            “I’m gonna call Hyoyeon” brought out his cellphone and dialed her number.

            “Hello?” answered the other line.

            “Hello! Can I be your phone pal?” he made his voice huskier so she can’t recognize him.

            “Uh..no..bye!” she hung up the phone.

            “Woah! She definitely do not like talking to strangers” he dialed again.

            “Yah! Don’t call me again you..”

            “Relax Hyoyeon it’s me Onyx.”

            “Huh? You stupid Gorilla how could you do that?!

            I laughed. “I was just joshing you, chill. Your beautiful face will get wrinkled.”

            “Ugh! Whatever! Why did you call?”

            “Have you received the flowers?”

            "Yeah, I did. Thanks so much, Tulips my favorite.”

            At last she calmed down.

            “So how was your day?”

            “Aside from receiving flowers from you,uh..Junho..”

            “What? Tell me”

            “Well, he told me he likes me.”

            “What?! That young (Bi) Rain looking..uh, sorry..I mean what did you reply?”

            Hyoyeon giggled,”I told him that I already given my heart to someone & I’m still waiting for him  to come back. Junho is a nice person & I admire him for that.”

           “I see. Thank God.” Onyx sighed.

           “Huh? Why are you thanking God?”

           “Oh that, uh..” (because at last I don’t have a competition anymore..hehe..) at the back of his mind. “Nothing much.”

           Hyoyeon laughed,” You’re weird; I mean you’re always weird.”

          “Am I? Fine, as long you’re happy. Hmp!”

          “I was just joking..the truth is I’m at bliss just talking to you..”

          “If I know, you’re just missing me. I know, I know, you don’t have to hide it.” Teasing Hyoyeon.

          “Yeah, right..well maybe a little.”

          “See! haha! Wait you aren’t busy right?”

          Hyoyeon looked at her daily planner & test papers she should check.

          “Honestly, I am.”

          “I’m sorry for bothering you..I should hang up now.”

          “Okay & you’re not bothering me. I need to have a break also. I’m glad you called. Bye.”

         “Wait Hyoyeon!” shouted Onyx.

         “Yes?”

         “I like you and..I miss you..”

         Hyoyeon couldn’t breathe hearing those words makes her world stop. Her heart starts to beat faster than she felt when she’s running.

         “Well, I didn’t expect to hear that. What do I do?” At her mind.

         “Are you okay? It was a joke. Gotcha!” Onyx heard her sigh.

         “Bye! By the way it was half meant.”

         Before Hyoyeon could speak Onyx already hang up the phone and poor Hyoyeon is left looking stupid while hearing the busy tone. Asking herself,

        “It isn’t true right?”

 

Japan

 

After Onyx hung up. He couldn’t erase his up to ears smile.

         “At least I told her what I feel..did I? tomorrow, I must face the reality before I could reveal to Hyoyeon the truth.

 

At Sakura Station (the most well known TV station in Japan, fiction)

 

Host: “Good afternoon! It’s Friday once again, you know it’s time for “Confessions”. We here to welcome our pride &  reigned the best  artist for 2 consecutive years.  Onyx!”

Onyx bowed to the audience & the host.

         “Hi nice to be here.”

 

CLAP CLAP

 

Host: Yes! Yes! We are most glad. First of all, How was your vacation in Korea?

             “It was fun, I’ve meet my childhood neighbors and I felt more relaxed.”

Host: Back to the main issue why you’re here, we’re hearing such rumors about you and Gyuri. Could you tell us your side of the story?

            “Where do you want me to start?” he chuckled. “I’ll get straight to the point, we didn’t break up, and we didn’t even become what you’re thinking. And you should not believe everything that she said.”

Host: You mean all she said about you two was a lie?

           “Definitely.”

Host: Then why did you go to Korea? If you didn’t go there to mend your broken heart?

           “The truth is I was searching for my childhood love, you see I made a promise that I will come back for her.”

Host: How cute! But are you sure that she is waiting for you still?

           “Yes, we already met. But I want to let it stay private. She is so important to me. So I’m asking you guys to stop spreading any issues about me and Gyuri.”

Host: Good thing we heard your part. Don’t worry; I’m sure all of your fans will support you.

           “I’m very thankful to them. And I love you all!”

Host facing to the camera.

Host: I’m glad that all of the rumors are now cleared up. Thank you Onyx for being with us today, in spite of your busy schedule.

          “Nothing to worry, I’m pleased to be with you.”

Host: Okay! We have lots of intriguing stories after the break! So just stay were you are!

At Gyuri’s Home

 

           “How dare you Onyx! Telling the whole world that I’m a liar!” Gyuri shouting in front of her 40 inches flat screen TV. She just watched Confessions.

She throw things she can grasp within her reach.

           “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I will not forgive you and your little girlfriend! How dare you to leave me! I’m a Goddess!” while pointing at Onyx’s life size portrait in her room.

           “I will show you how Gyuri is made of..”
