Answer Me 2009{ Hope and Friendship }
Homesickness was something strange; she could only describe it as a sickness of the emotion. She yearned to return to her roots and to return home as soon as possible. After spending so many months and days in the States, she never thought she experience it. Miseul looked at the park that they were walking through, remembering the city she grew up in. She should be used to it. After all, she was an idol that traveled around the world to perform. Or at least she would be performing around the world in the near future. Hopefully.
As the trio walked through the green grass, Hyeri looked at the main dancer and asked, "You okay, Miseul?"
The leader nodded, but Minjung wasn't convinced. It was like Miseul to keep everything to herself as she didn't want to "burden" the other members. Knowing that she always had to be the positive leader to keep them strong, she never really told them how she felt.
The main rapper put each arm around the shoulder of the other two and said, "Don't lie, Miseul. You have that look on your face you have when you're worried."
Hyeri nodded in agreement and then added, "Our manager said we should talk in order to have good teamwork."
Miseul let out a sigh and then finally confessed, "I'm homesick. Honestly, California is cool, but I really miss my hometown and I miss the city we trained so many years in."
Minjung acknowledged the younger girl's words and then pulled the females in closer. "Don't worry, Miseul. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't homesick. I think we all are...besides maybe Summer since she's from America."
"Same here!" Hyeri admit, sheepishly putting a hand behind her head and scratching at her head. "We just have half a month until we return back to South Korea."
She honestly felt relieved to hear that the girls felt the same way, and she smiled lightly as she felt relieved. Even though she was the leader, the girls wanted her to rely on them. Minjung pointed at the building across the street from the park, and she then said, "Well, I think we better get back to practicing. The time will pass faster that way."
"Do you ever feel like you want to run away from practice?" Summer asked Hyemi as the two sat in the middle of an empty dace room. The older Daydream members had decided to go on a walk during their fifteen minute break, leaving the maknae line together.
Hyemi looked up at the ceiling, not immediately saying anything. She smiled sheepishly after looking back at the ground and said, "Of course. Practice takes so much time and energy."
Summer looked at the girl with wide eyes and then giggled lightly to herself. Af
