Answer Me 2009{ Redemption }
it may be back to the drawing boards, but they still have a shot at stardom.
October 10th, 2010.
"Summer, why do you always have a knack for making Mr. Smith angry?" asked Minjung, raising an eyebrow as the two left KENT. As the two did not speak fluent Korean or were born in South Korea, they were sent to KENT, a school that had lessons mostly conducted in English. The two didn't mind though. They could learn English as well as improve their Korean skills here.
"It's not my fault that he gets kind of sore about his bald spot," Summer giggled in response as she remembered the doodle that Tia had given her during class. It was of Mr. Smith with a perfectly round bald spot. And usually, he caught her instead of any other girl. She had received a scolding, but she felt it was well worth it. Heck, anything that Kyle and Camden created that made fun of the mean teacher was well worth it.
She then looked for Flora, hoping that the girl would be able to join them. Summer had finally gotten over being cut, and she then realized that she rather not awkwardly avoid her best friend. It wasn't...right. But still, the London-native was nowhere to be seen.
"Flora is having her debut stage today, don't you remember?" the Chinese-Korean female reminded her younger friend.
The other girl sighed. The duo often promised that they would debut together and be able to perform on the same stage. Sadly, this was not obtainable at the moment. Of course, she had to be proud and happy for her friend. Flora had been training for a longer period of time, and she practically was born for the concept that MIR4CLE was debuting with.
Positive thoughts. Positive thoughts. Positive thoughts. Being jealous would not end in good things.
"Hey guys!" Camden called out in English as Kyle and himself finally caught up with them. "You guys like disappeared as soon as the bell rang."
"I don't think I'd want to spend an extra second with Mr. Smith," chuckled Kyle as he patted Summer's head playfully. "Sorry about the picture, Summer."
The New York native grinned and then said, "It was worth it...but..."
Camden knew what Summer was thinking and quickly cut her off. "Ice cream on Kyle?"
"Hey!" the British-Korean boy exclaimed. "You should be the one paying since you wrote that he had a bald spot!"
Minjung looked at the 95 liners and then laughed. Man, the four of them would get in trouble as they were all on a restrictive diet. Of course, it couldn't hurt. A little ice cream and trouble never hurt anybody.
"Just promise me you all won't eat three scopes like last time and get me in trouble then?" groaned Camden as they continued down the street to the nearest ice cream shop. "Please."
"Hyemi, I don't understand why you stay behind and help the teachers," Hyeri said, huffing impatiently as the girl exited the classroom. Taejoon laughed a bit as he stood next to the girl with his hands in his pocket. Hyeri had the tendency to be rather well, impatient.
"Well," Hyemi started before looking down at her feet, "I, just, well..."
"Did Miss Jung force you to clean the boards because she knows that you won't say no?" Miseul asked quietly. She had Miss Jung as a teacher last year and instead of asking the whole class to help, she usually picked on one student to do the cleaning after school for the whole year. Normally, the student couldnt' say no.
"You got to learn to stand up for yourself, Hye," Hyunjae sighed as he popped out of the next door classroom with Jongin and Sehun. "I can't always be there to protect you, yknow?"
Hyemi shrugged. She didn't mind helping out the teacher, and it only took a few minutes.
"Hi Hyeri," Jongin said breaking in between Taejoon and Hyeri as they walked. "How's your new company?"
Hyeri smiled at the SM trainee as the group walked down the halls. It had been a while since the dancer and herself had a conversation even though they had school together. She responded quickly, "Good actually. There's a lot of creative freedom. I got to help choreograph a dance for Mir4cle's debut."
"Really?!" exclaimed Jongin, a bit too loud and excited. The other students shot him a strange look and he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I wish SM would let us do that."
Taejoon uncomfortably shifted as he trailed behind his best friend and Jongin. It wasn't like he didn't like Jongin, but it was more of...well, he couldn't exactly put his finger on it. Jaesun, who eventually caught up to the group, snickered a bit at Taejoon's quite obvious attitude everything. He nudged Miseul softly and said, "Tae is..."
"Jealous," finished Miseul quickly. All of the Aurora Media Entertainment trainees were aware of Taejoon's affectionate attitude towards Hyeri. Though the dancer thought he did a good job of covering it up, he was quite well, obvious.
"So, did you finish the homework on time?" the male rapper asked Miseul as they continued along, "I barely finished mine before first period passed. I spent too much time composing another song."
"Really, Mr. Honors student number one in class?" Miseul asked, rolling h
