They had the next few days day off, but nobody was happy about it. The bulk of the Aurora Media Entertainment idols (and trainees) had decided to spend some time at the male dorm (as a group of people). The fight between the two youngest members was the last thing on their mind.
Minjung was sitting on the couch in the boy's dorm (which was a block away from the girl's dorm) yet again with Sungsoo, unsure of what to say. It was late in the evening, and news spread rather quickly about the earthquake in Japan. Unlike certain netizens, she held no grudge against the Japanese. In fact, she was quite shocked about the unfolding of events. He wept and wept. His mother and two of his sisters were residing in Japan, near the center of the earthquake, for a vacation.
How could she tell him it was okay? How could she when she knew it probably was not going to be okay? False words of comfort would not help, and optimism was probably not the best choice. He tried over and over to call them for the last two days, but to no avail, he was unable to get into contact with them. He had asked Camden to call his aunt, who currently was residing in Japan, to try to get ahold of his family.
As Miseul re-entered the apartment, she had a worried look on her face as well. Outside, she called one of the 2NE1 members (as the group was visiting Japan) to confirm that they were okay. Unlike Sungsoo, she was able to get contact with them. Chaerin had managed to get Sandara out of the building as fast as possible, and the rest of the girls were safe. They were lucky to say the least.
None of the girls knew how to comfort Sungsoo at all. The boys had all said their words of positivity and secretly prayed and hoped that the three women were okay. All the Aurora Media Entertainment trainees, idols, and staff were hoping for the best. Humans were humans, regardless of race, gender, , or beliefs.
"I'm sure they're fine," Jaesun said, putting a hand on Sungsoo's shoulder. His eyes looked bloodshot, and he looked really tired. He had probably stayed up trying to talk some sense into the older male. Sungsoo pulled himself away from Minjung and gave him an angry look.
"How the do you even know?" he yelled, obviously quite frustrated. He pushed away Jaesun and stormed out the apartment, pushing pass Miseul without a care. After a minute had passed, Hyeri came out of Taejoon's and Jaesun's room with a confused look (she was cleaning for them for the nth time). She had restocked their fridge with some healthy food earlier as well.
Taejoon walked out soon after, but he said nothing despite being the loudmouth he was. His hands were in his pockets, and he looked at the ground. There was nothing they could do at this moment.
And they felt completely awful. Camden exited his room in which he shared with Kyle. He looked like he was scared to say something.
But the rest of the young adults knew what he was going to say as his face only expressed one emotion. He had nothing but bad news for them.
In regards to the next few days at Aurora Media Entertainment, they were very miserable to put it simply. Not miserable in the sense as in the company was failing, but a sad Sungsoo usually brought down the happy aura of the company. Why? When Sungsoo was sad, well, he just brought everyone down with him for some strange reason. He made no effort at all to come into training, and Jaemin understood the reason why very well.
The problem was when would the young man recover.
On another hand, Taejin seemed more and more antsy when people came along in the practice room. He was constantly look in the mirror, making strange faces. Sometimes he would even cover his face. It seemed like he was hiding a secret, and Summer was determined to find out what was happening to him. So, she recruited the ever so silent Hyemi to help her after they made up. They re
