Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess. She was always surrounded by friends and family.

But she wanted more, she wanted to experience love, that everlasting, nerve-wracking, fluttering heartbeats type of love.

Someone that would make her nervous and happy, and feel special. She wanted to see more than just her home.

She wanted to explore.

What she didn't realize was the person that had been doing that for her, her whole life, was right beside her.

Waiting for her to see him, waiting for her to realize it too. The way they first met was no mere coincidence.

They were meant to have met that way, to have became friends so easily. She was lost in the outskirts of the kingdom and he found her by his house.

He guided her back to the castle where they were preparing a frantic search party for her and having met her father, the King, he was obligated to stay by her side forever.

To make sure she never got lost again.

She never questioned it, why he enticed her, why she enjoyed his company, why she needed to see him smile at least once a day.

But then she found someone else, someone she thought gave her the love she wanted. She started to visit him and distance herself away from her friend.

After having been there along, would she really notice him? Someone who had been by her side this whole time?
