L - Love

Bang Junhong loved a lot of things and he loved a lot of people. He was in second grade now because the six (almost seven) year old was so smart that the school decided to bump him up a grade, which was a decision his parents happily agreed to. 

He loved his parents, his family, his best friend, but recently, he had found a new love that had captivated his small heart. It was a beautiful, juicy, small love that had stolen his heart.

Junhong had been at the grocery store with Umma stocking up on food since their refrigerator at home was basically empty when he laid eyes on it. It was in a small plastic box with small round holes punched out. There were tons of them and they were a glowing vibrant red. It was almost as if the boxes were calling his name.

"Jello, do you want Nutella or peanut butter?" Himchan asked his son, holding up two jars of different spreads but his son was distracted and not paying any attention to him.

"Umma, that! Can we get that? Please?" Junhong asked excitedly, pointing at the small fruits trapped in small boxes that were sitting neatly on top of each other a few feet away.

"You want some cherry tomatoes?" Himchan pushed the cart towards the tiny tomatoes that were under a huge sign, advertising a sale.

"Yeah yeah!" Junhong looked like he was about to jump out of his child seat in the cart and get them himself. Himchan giggled at the sight because his son was just way too cute.

"Ok baby, we'll get two boxes since they're on sale anyway." Himchan smiled as he placed the small fruits into the shopping cart, earning a happy smile from the small boy.

"Thank you, umma." Junhong reached out for his umma. When Himchan came close enough, Jello hugged his umma and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh, you're very welcome baby. Now, what flavor of ramen do you think we should we get Appa?" Himchan questioned his son as they turned towards the ramen aisle to pick up the third love of his husband's life.

Himchan was the first love of Bang Yongguk’s life and would always be the first.
