A - Appa
Bang Yongguk can still remember clearly the day he found out that he was going to be an appa.
It started one fine Sunday morning when Himchan woke up. A second later, he rushed to the bathroom, hunched over the toilet bowl, and chucked up last night's dinner. Vomiting felt horrible and Himchan hoped that it wouldn’t happen again. He concluded that this was Yongguk’s fault since he was the one who made dinner last night. Yongguk’s excuse was that he was ‘experimenting with food’ and clearly, that experimenting didn’t go well.
Let’s face it. Yongguk is lacking terribly in the culinary department. Besides ramen, he can’t really cook anything.
Some few days later, Himchan finally found out that Yongguk’s cooking wasn’t the cause of his puking when he found himself hunched over the toilet after every meal. Whether it was his own cooking, restaurant cooking, or even ramen, it didn’t stay in him for long.
Yongguk suggested that maybe their wish for a child had been granted but Himchan brushed that thought off because they had been using condoms. They wanted to save up some more money before they decided to add a baby to the family, but Yongguk was absolutely positive that Himchan was pregnant.
So after a week of Himchan's nonstop vomiting, Yongguk decided to go to the pharmacy while Himchan was at work and get a pregnancy test. Or three. Just to be sure. That night when Himchan came home from his job of being a music teacher, he was met with three boxes of pregnancy tests being in his face.
“Why do you have those? I said I’m not pregnant. We’ve use condoms every time, Yongguk.” Himchan said, taking the boxes and putting them on the living room table.
“You don’t know that. You haven’t even tested yourself. Come on, Channie. Just take them. It can’t hurt to try.” Yongguk took the boxes and Himchan, dragging him towards the bathroom.
“But I’m not pregnant.” Himchan retorted and crossed his arms.
“Then prove me wrong and take the tests.” Yongguk shoved the boxes into his husband’s arms again, ignoring his annoyed look.
“Fine.” Was all Himchan said and walked into the bathroom, slamming the door in Yongguk’s face when he tried to go in after his annoyed husband.
“Nothing I haven’t seen before.” Yongguk mumbled, walking over to the couch to sit down and proceeded to turn on the tv. He was in the middle of watching a Music Core performance when he heard Himchan call for him.
“So?” Yongguk asked curiously as he walked into the bathroom. What he was welcomed with was Himchan’s arms being thrown around him. A few tears were sliding down Himchan’s cheeks as Yongguk’s arms wrapped around him.
"What's wrong, baby?" Yongguk asked, voice full of worry.
“Bang Yongguk, you’re going to be an appa.” Himchan said, three positive pregnancy test on the bathroom counter.
Upon hearing that, Yongguk smiled and pulled Himchan’s face back. He gently grabbed his lover’s face and gave him a sweet kiss, which Himchan happily returned.
They had finally gotten their wish to come true and they couldn’t be any happier.
a/n: I tried to be funny. I probably failed. This chapter was suppose to be fluffy and gross. I tried to make it good. The other drabbles ahead probably won’t be this long.
