Chapter 10: Confused

It's been two weeks since we went to Barom's parent's house, and ever since then Barom's been distant. I haven't recieved any calls or texts from him, and I haven't seen him since then either. It made me self-conscious and I can't help but think that this is his way of breaking up with me.

I headed to class only to be greeted by Jaejin. "How are you and your boyfriend?"

"Not so good," I said with a sigh.

"Why?"

"Well, we haven't had any contact for two weeks."

"And why is that?" asked Jaejin.

"I think it's about this girl named Bora."

"See, I knew it. It's only been two months and he's already cheating!" exclaimed Jaejin.

"Can you stop acting as if you know everything about my relationship? That might not even be the real reason. It might just be his parents for all I know."

After that the professor came in which gave no time for Jaejin to make a comeback.

When class ended, Jaejin left the class instead of telling me goodbye like usual, which sort of dampened my mood.

I headed to work quickly after eating lunch at a cafe nearby. As soon as I walked towards my station, I noticed someone familiar already sitting there. I got closer and saw that it was none other than Bora.

"Hi, Jihyun," said Bora happily.
