“I can’t stay still in here! I want to go to the concert as well!” Sungmin was repeating his sulk for all day long. Today is SNSD’s third concert and first world tour, kicking off open in Seoul as a start. It would be a shame that he couldn’t come knowing it’s impossible for him to go overseas in the midst of his two musical shows. It was bad enough that he breached a term in the contract during his flight to Phuket. But at least, it got him somewhere.   And now what?   “Sungmin, you can’t insist on going tonight. Your injury is still in a bad shape. Had you been more careful earlier, that would’ve been healed. But no, you always act mindlessly. Your fall on the airport should be your wake up call.” Kyuhyun, who was now fed up with his hyung’s complaints and whines, decided to make a move to shut this noisy hyung up. He was preparing himself to attend the concert in Seoul Olympic Arena.   “I don’t mind this injury. It’s not even that bad. You are all overreacting! Where is manager-hyung? I can just tell him I need a break!” Exasperatingly, he messed his hair up due to frustration. Why can’t anyone understand him?   “And how will the producers’ of Jack the Ripper and Summer Snow react, huh? What will that make you look like?” His hyung’s words are becoming unbelievable. He must’ve fallen for her deeply.   Sungmin held his head down.   “Maybe you’re right.” Sighing, he continued. “But I badly want to be there, you know?” He was thinking of surprising Sunny. He knows how much she will appreciate that. He’s seen her reaction during his Invincible Youth 2 guesting and what could possible go wrong with another one?   “I know, Sungmin. I know.” They both turned their head towards the direction of the door, which just made a knocking sound. “I know as well that she wouldn’t mind. Didn’t she tell you not to go, too? It’s for your health, hyung. If you don’t want to listen to us, then at least you listen to her.” With that, he swung the door open and left for the concert with his other hyung, Eunhyuk.   Sungmin was left to watch as the door closes before his eyes. Oh, how he wanted to follow Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun. He attempted to stand up but no. Thanks to his temporarily incapacitated knee. Maybe Kyuhyun’s right. Sunny would be worried if she sees this.   And... wait a minute. The words “Kyuhyun” and “right” on the same sentence without the word “not” in between? Does that even make sense?   This will be a long night, he mentally noted.         The concert arena was full-packed. Why would it not? It’s SNSD after all. Many unfortunate ones desire to go and witness this tour but we’ll not dwell on them. (right, Sungmin?)   The speakers banged the attendants’ eardrums but it brought them an unexplainable rush throughout their system. The concert started with a dramatic VCR. Just watching the video makes you a proud spectator to how they grew up, bloomed in and sprouted out as to what they are now.   The fans couldn’t just be excited for themselves. As for the girls, they aren’t excited. They’re ecstatic.   Having just been done with their second Japan tour, they want to showcase their talents to fellow Koreans and their foreigner fans as well. To let them see how much their hardwork paved their way to success. If it wasn’t for the fans, they wouldn’t be anywhere else.   It’s the principle of reciprocity.   The fans paid not a joke price of their hefty ticket so they shouldn’t disappoint. They must not.   But excitement isn’t all you think of when something’s bugging your mind – that’s what Sunny’s case was.   Meeting backstage, Kyuhyun informed her how Sungmin wanted to go really bad. She knew it, too. And she wanted him to go as well. But she can’t force the situation. He’s not in the perfect condition. It’s fine with her that he couldn’t attend, his excuse is valid.   But what weakens her is the thought that he was practically willing to bear a couple of hours of standing just to support her for this. It wasn’t anything near romance. It was beyond that.
