A few moments later, we were both standing in front of a big, heavy looking door. He shot me a wink. “Prepare yourself for the most amazing…”

He’s been describing what the club is like for the whole seven minutes now, all the way. I just gave out a long sigh.

“Welcome,” He slowly opened the big door and bowed gracefully. “to the manga club Miss Fujioka.”

Dozens of bookshelves were in one big room, separated by a dozen of chairs and tables in the middle. I could see a piano at the far end of the room. Piano?

Various students were reading books, or they could be mangas, sitting idly on chairs. But what caught my attention was that instead of paintings, posters of different of different anime characters were on the walls.

“U-Uh…” I faced him, ready to shoot questions at his face. “Isn’t it the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen?” He said, looking like an angel for a second.

He’s an otaku!!! He’s obviously an otaku!!!

“…N…Nevermind…” I mumbled. He spun around, took my hand and smiled excitedly. “Let’s go and check it out Miss Fujioka! You might want to join the club too!”

NEVER!!!I thought to myself, but I might as well check the place out.

I looked at the students. Almost all of them were in my class…! So that explains the gasp earlier. They…are all…otakus…

Suddenly I felt something cling to me. I looked at what it was. A boy?

The boy smiled. “Konnichiwa…! I’m Mitsukuni Haninozuka! Call me Honey please! Yoroshiku!” He held out a bunny and hugged it. “This is Usa-chan.” He waved using the bunny’s hand. “I’m a senior. Are you in the same class as Tama-chan?”

He is a senior…?

“A-Ah…Fujioka Haruhi desu…I’m in the same class as HIM. Yoroshiku.” I said, suddenly feeling my body weaken all of a sudden.

“Haha…let me introduce myself. I am the king of this club…!” Suoh declared. “What?” I responded. “Tama-chan is the head of this club Haru-chan!” Honey-senpai held out his bunny.

“Yes, I’m the King of this club and Honey-senpai is the vice king of this club!!!” I looked at him in a depressed way. “There’s no such thing as a vice king…Anyway, are there any other clubs?”

Honey-senpai looked thoughtful. “There’s the math club!” “And the science club!” Suoh added. “Really?!” I brightened up. “I’ll check it out then!” I rushed to the door.

“…But they were all dissolved last year.” Suoh declared sarcastically. I turned, my face almost turning white. “Wha-?”

“Well Haru-chan, nobody joined clubs like those anymore so they were closed last year.” Honey explained. I gave out another sigh. “Then I won’t be joining any club after all…Thanks for everything. I’ll go home…see you tomorrow.” I opened the door.

“But, joining any club in this school will give you extra grades.” Suoh said.
