I’m new at Ouran High. I’m studying to be a lawyer. I came across this door. An abandoned music room, huh? This place seems to be quiet. I guess I could check the books I got from the library here.

I opened the huge door and peeked inside. Such a big room.

There’s no one here. Perfect. As I closed the door…

“What are you doing here?”

I almost jumped. “E-eh?” I turned around.

A tall dark haired guy with glasses was looking at me. “Me?” “Who else would I be talking to?” “Well, I was looking for a place to stay and this room is empty.”

“I’m studying here. Look somewhere else.” He looked across the room. “This room is very large you know. I’m sure it’s big enough for at least the two of us.” I looked at him sternly.

“…” He pushed his glasses up a little bit. “What are you studying for?” “I want to be a lawyer.”

He looked at me for a few moments. “H-hey…what are you staring at?” “Your hair. It’s short.” “What? You jealous of it?” “Maybe.”

This guy is cracking me up. I gave out a long sigh. “Will you please let me study here? I promise I’ll be very quiet.”

He smiled intelligently. “Hajimemae, I’m Ootori Kyouya. Class 2-B.” “Ah…Fujioka Haruhi. 1-C.”

I sat down on a chair placed at a corner of the room. I opened one of my books and read a few paragraphs. Then I looked up and saw him reading a book and typing something in he’s laptop at the same time.

He seems like a very intelligent person, like he’s in the top of the class or something.

After an hour, the bell rang, signaling classes to start. “Ootori-san, I’ll be going on ahead.”

He just nodded, without looking up from his laptop. I opened the door and headed outside, but as I was about to close the door…

 “Good luck today.”

I heard Ootori-san’s voice. I just responded with a thanks and headed down the hall way.
