Kevin turned around and saw Soo kyung standing right before him wearing a scarf around her head and dark sunglasses covering her swollen eyes. She wears a black trench coat and ankle boots and a medium sized Gucci bag. She took a step closer, only to touch Kevin's chin, cloing it so a fly won't go in. Kevin blinked at the sight of her, how dare she show up like this. As she takes off her sunglasses Kevin notices the purple bruise on her right eye, both eyes red and puffy from crying.
He is shocked at her appearance, even more, he doesn't know what to say, they are enemies now, but why does he feel the need responsibility to comfort her. Was it guilt from the rage he had, no, those reactions a few days ago were all her fault, she caused him to hate her. There was no need to be guilty he thought to himself as he saw her head hung low, hands gripping tightly at the ends of the coat's belt.
After a few seconds of silence both of them spoke at the same time,
"Kevin I-"
"Sookyung-"
"You go first" Kevin said.
Sookyung let go of the belt in a way it looked like she was giving up.
"I, just wanted to say I'm..."
*This is it, the words I have to say, to get my dignity back. I can't go on in my life if he doesn't know my situation...* Sookyung thought.
"I'm sorry. I-I was... drugged that day..." She trailed off, turning her head to the right. Kevin's eyes widened at her confession. Was that the real reason she acted that way?
"My life, my life is a living hell. Every day I wake up alone, next to someone who doesn't love me anymore. When I heard you were coming, I don't know I guess I could have had another chance. That was until my friend said you were with a really good looking young woman, and hand-in-hand with a little girl." She chuckled as she started to feel her eyes tearing up.
"That day, while you were leaving, the drugs were wearing off at that moment and I just had to ask, but you obviously didn't hear..."

She was left dumbfounded, her jaw hung loose in awe, how did he set himself free?
"How did you...?"
"Tch, Skinny wrists remember? Don't you dare show yourself around me or my wife..." He threatened her. She shook her head.
"Wait! Kevin, who is that..." She trailed off, seeing his slim, toned figure disappear towards the light.

"Ask me what?" Kevin said curiosity filling his mind now.
"I was going to ask, if the little girl was yours..." She trailed off once again mentally scolding herself why she had asked such an obvious question.
"Why, why do you need to know?" Kevin said. He will tell her but its none of her business.
"So I guess she is." She let out a deep sigh. "Let's just leave it at that then. I am nothing to you, or to my boyfriend. My life is a mess leading me no where, but I can't separate from him."
"Why do you need him? It doesn't look like he treats you well anyway," he gently lifted his hand to her face, lightly tracing his thumb on the edge of her bruise near her eye. This made Sookyung look up, meeting eachother's gaze. For a moment she felt her heart speed up, all because he was looking
