09; What I Like About You

Soshified Shots

A/N: Yay for YoonSic! I'm not sure about the title, but I can't think about anything else better. :/

“What did I tell you about making arrangements without my consent?”

“Relax boss. I just did what I had to do. No need to get so worked up about it.”

A certain tall, slim doe-eyed girl frustratingly ran her fingers through her long curly brown locks as she exhaled through her nose. It has been a long day for her and now she’s looking forward to another upcoming project that has been given to her by a famous magazine company.

“I can’t believe you hired a model without even telling me.”

“Stop whining. It’s not like I just randomly picked up some hot female to do the job. I have very high standards you know.”

“Really? How’s that going to make me feel better?”

“Don’t worry. I hired someone who’d be perfect for the job. This new project of yours will be a huge success, I assure you.”

“You better be sure. You’re lucky I trust you enough Kim Hyoyeon.”

“Oh I know you do.”

Yoona dismissed her assistant after their previous conversation. She’d been working a lot these past few days and all she wanted was to finally breathe properly. The cold air being released by the airconditioner around the studio room surrounded her exhaustingly petite frame.

She glanced at her watch and saw that it was almost midnight. Yoona packed up her things before heading out of her workplace.

---

The next day came so quickly. Yoona arrived in her photo studio earlier than ever, making sure that she's prepared for the interview which she will conduct with the new model she'll be working with on her new project.

She was sitting on her chair, endlessly tapping her fingers against her wooden desk. She didn't know why but she felt a little anxious somehow, getting both curious and a little impatient while waiting for the person she's about to meet.

Yoona was usually the one who'd pick the person she'd hire as a model. She always makes sure to interview that person first and get to know something about her before actually hiring her. It's because Yoona has this little principle of hers about giving importance to people's personality and background before working with them.

It's the first time interviewing a model whom she didn't choose herself. At least Hyoyeon could've given her some hints or heads-on about that person she hired. What if that person isn't exactly the type Yoona would want to work with?

Nah, I trust Hyoyeon. My assistant would never dissappoint me.

Her thoughts dispersed once she heard the door creaking open. Yoona snapped out of her trance and tilted her head towards the figure which slipped through the small space of the doorway.

"Goodmorning boss." Her long blonde-haired assistant beamed a bright smile. "I see you came early for work."

"Cut the crap Hyo, where's my interviewee?"

Hyoyeon looked down at her feet as though she was unsure about something. But then she flashed another smile at Yoona before fully opening the door, motioning to someone from outside. Yoona raised an eyebrow and waited for the person she's been waiting for to finally enter the room.

"Boss, this is an acquiantance of mine. Her name is.."

Yoona's ears became deaf to her assistant's voice once another figure emerged inside the room. Her heart unbelievably made its stop, and her breathing instantly hitched. She could feel her muscles tensing and her mind blowing at the sight of a gorgeous brunette who appeared before her wearing a mini dress that enveloped her curvaceous body in a perfect way.

"..Jessica Jung." Yoona took a mental note of that name.

The said girl bowed 90 degrees, but there was no sign of any friendliness on her face. Her outward appearance looked really feisty and cold, and her warm brown eyes seemed to be looking through Yoona's soul.

The doe-eyed girl swallowed back a mouthful.

"H-Hello. You must be the new model my assistant hired." Yoona forced to extend her arm towards the model. Jessica took it without hesitance and shook it firmly as if she wanted to pull it off.

"Yes. That's me." She has this certain tone of sarcasm in her voice. But Yoona was too dazed to even notice.

Hyoyeon looked back and forth at the other two with a small excited smile forming on her pretty face. "Uhm, I'll leave you two to talk. Just call me when you need me boss." Yoona nodded mindlessly to whatever her assistant had said, since she was too busy staring at the beautiful woman in front of her to even care.

Degeun. Degeun.

Yoona, don't think of anything stupid.

She's a model, someone you'd be working with.

And she's hot as hell.

Just get on with the interview.

"Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude, but will you stop staring at me? It's making me feel really uncomfortable." Jessica sighed a little as she rolled her eyes, obviously despised with the way the photographer was gawking at her.

Yoona's eyes flickered and she quickly cleared . "R-Right. I'm sorry. Please sit down." She motioned towards the empty chair in front of her desk. The two of them settled down and began their conversation.

"So, miss Jung, I've heard you've been modelling ever since you were in middle school?" Yoona asked as she flipped through the pages of the other woman's profile.

"Yes. It has always been my dream and my profession." The other girl muttered out softly, as though her words were taken out from a prepared script. Yoona glanced at her and scratched her head. "You don't look so enthuasiastic about it though." The taller girl commented, earning a darkening glare from the other.

"Do I have to look excited just to convince you?" Jessica snapped. Her dark expression suddenly changed into a pleased one, her eyes twinkling and her red lips curving upwards into a delighted smile. She clasped her hands together and said, "Oh my gosh! Modelling has always been my dream and my profession! I love it so damn much!" She rephrased her words earlier, but the difference now was that she faked being all giddy and happy.

Yoona stared at her with an opened mouth.

"There. Was that reaction better?" Jessica returned back to being an ice princess. Yoona continued to stare at her and could only bob her head up and down as a yes.

Yoona swallowed hard. "Oh. Y-Yeah." She tried to avoid staring at the girl who was glaring at her and focused her eyes on the folder in her hands instead. She decided to go to the next question in order to avoid the awkwardness floating around the atmosphere. "So, how old are you?"

"Isn't it already written in my profile?"

"Oh, uhm, yes it is." Yoona looked kind of lost. The blank stare that the other woman was giving her also wasn't helping. It was her first time experiencing to have interviewed someone with such an attitude. "Can you please just answer the questions without such sarcasm?" She didn't mean to be so rude, but this Jessica girl was.

The model lifted an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

"Miss Jung, if you really want to work here, I need you to change that attitude of yours." Yoona stated in the most gentle manner that she could. "I work with people who are nice. And the kind of first impression that you're giving me right now is definitely not nice."

"Oh I'm sorry." Jessica frowned. "But for your information, whether this interview is successful or not I'm already hired."

"But for your information Miss Jung," Yoona emphasized on the older girl's name. "I'm actually the boss here which gives me the authority to dismiss you anytime I want to. So all I'm asking you to do is to play nice."

Jessica glared at her for a while before giving in and sighing loudly in defeat. She rolled her eyes and took a deep breath before forcing her lips to outstretch into a friendly smile.

"Fine. Go ahead, Miss Im."

Yoona figured this was going to be the most difficult interview she ever conducted yet.

---

"No Hyoyeon. I can't do this."

"Why not?"

Yoona sat down behind her desk, sighing deeply as she rubbed her temples with her hands. Her assistant marched towards her side and placed a soothing hand on her shoulder. "Did something bad happen earlier boss?"

"Bad?" Yoona chuckled bitterly. "It was THE WORST interview I ever had! Seriously! I can't work with a girl like that."

"Why not?"

"Why do you keep asking 'Why not'? I mean, have you seen that girl?! She's terrible!" Yoona frantically waved her hands up in the air in her dramatic state. The look on her face only shows how stressed she was. Hyoyeon grabbed a random folder from the younger girl's desk and used it to fan the stressed girl. "She's not terrible. Are you blind? She's the perfect model for this project!" The blonde girl defended.

Yoona glared at her assistant. "If I'm blind, then you're obnoxious. How could you hire someone like that? Where did you pick her up from anyway?"

"She..well she.." Hyoyeon hesitated to answer. Instead she decided to change the subject. "Yoona, you have to finish this project within this week. We only have four days left. Looking for a new model would be a waste of time."

"So are you expecting me to just accept her?" Yoona rolled her eyes stubbornly as she crossed her arms. "Never! No way. Not until she fixes that attitude of hers. You know I tend to give importance to people whom I work with Hyo."

"I-I'll go talk to her for you then."

"You should. I'll give her another chance. But if she ruins it again, she'll have to go."

---

Hyoyeon exited the studio room with a heavy heart. Once she slipped out of the door she nearly jumped at the figure hovering behind her. She gasped and placed a hand over her chest, trying to calm herself down.

"Aish Sica! You scared the hell out of me!"

"So how did it go? Does she hate me?"

"You bet she does." The short blonde sighed frustratingly before sending the older girl a sharp glare. "What the hell did you do anyway for my boss to be so infuriated with you?"

The model just lightly shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't care. "Nothing. I just practically glared at her while answering her questions the whole time. No biggie." Hyoyeon seriously wanted to slap the girl across the face. But of course she didn't because the girl was her good old friend.

"No biggie? Jessica, if you want this job you better kick your sarcastic-bad- outta here. My boss is very serious about her job and the people she works with." Hyoyeon stated in a serious way and the brown-haired girl could only cover her ears in disgust. "Hyoyeon puh-lease, I've heard that same irritating sentence from your witchy boss and I've had enough of it."

"Jessica Jung do you want this job or not? Because if you keep on acting like that I'll be the one to kick your sorry out of here."

The ice princess sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fine. I need this job badly. And you know it."

Hyoyeon smiled a little. "Then fix that attitude of yours. Tomorrow the first photoshoot will begin right here in this studio. Make sure you'll appear at work early."

"I will."

"Don't say it, do it. My boss is very observant about punctuality."

"Is she really that type of an overly-principled person?"

"Just go with it. Once you get to work with her, you'll get to know what kind of a good person she is."

"Tch. I doubt it."

---

Yoona arrived at work early the next day. Although she'd been having some sleepless nights these past few days because of her job, she still manages to wake up early every morning. Being punctual was one of the characteristics she possessed. She believed that you'll never achieve anything if you're always late.

She entered her studio room and everything was already set up around her. The lights were settled, the cameras, and all her other staff were already positioned. Her blonde assistant approached her with her usual bright smile.

"Good morning boss!" Hyoyeon saluted. "You're out early."

"You guys too. Good job." Yoona smiled back as she settled her things on top of her desk. As she fumbled with her camera, her eyes searched around the place and noticed that there was something- no, someone missing. "Where's the model?"

Hyoyeon was alerted and she quickly glanced at her wristwatch. "She should be here by now."

"Text her."

"I already called her and she told me that she's on her way."

"Well she better be. I hate people who are late." Yoona emphasized the last word of her sentence and her assistant could only gulp and force out a reassuring smile. If Jessica fails to show up anytime soon, Hyoyeon predicts that her boss might probably go crazy and would fire Jessica without a doubt.

Fifteen minutes have already passed, and there was still no sign of the ice princess.

Hyoyeon tried numerous attempts of calling the girl's mobile, but it cannot be reached. Yoona was sitting behind her desk, looking irritated and stressed. All that her assistant could do was to silently pray that Jessica would appear soon.

As though her prayers were answered, the door swinged open revealing a gorgeous woman who was gasping for air. Although her brown locks were a bit messy, the fabric of her clothes a little tangled, and there were beads of perspiration all over her forehead, Jessica still looked as beautiful as ever in Yoona's eyes.

Oh gosh just snap out of it. She's late and you have to reprimand her.

"You're late." Those two words that slipped out of the photographer's mouth.

Jessica took a few seconds to regain proper breathing. "I'm sorry. The public bus had left me. I had to run all the way here."

Hyoyeon's eyes widened. "You ran with those heels?" She asked, referring towards the four inch stilletos the exhausted brunette was wearing on her feet.

Yoona continued to stare at Jessica before finally shaking her head and motioning for the model to come to her. Jessica did as she was told and stood right in front of the taller girl, lowering her head in order to avoid the lovely pair of doe eyes that were looking down at her in a judgemental way.

"You're late." Yoona repeated her words. "I don't like late people."

"I'm here now. So what's there not to like?"

"Miss Jung, in case you haven't noticed, you're the only one who arrived late. Everybody else around here," Yoona took this chance to look around the other people and staff around them. "arrived even earlier than I did. I don't understand why you had to be different from them. Especially when you're the main focus of this photoshoot."

Jessica scowled a little. "I'm sorry, if that's what you want to hear. I got left by the bus. What choice did I have?"

"You could've taken other transportations. You know, like taxi or cabs." Yoona stated in a way as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Too expensive. I'd rather walk." The brunette answered in an ugly tone, irritating Yoona even more. Why can't this girl just admit her wrongdoing and ask forgiveness in the nicest way possible?

"A few dollar bills won't cause you your life." Yoona muttered through gritted teeth. "You should've been selfless and just took a cab."

"Well I didn't! And I'm already here. What are you so worked up about Miss Im?"

It was then that the two women realized that they were at each others' throats. All the other people in the room were watching them both in silence and amusement. The two of them continued to share one intense glare until Hyoyeon finally decided it was time to squeeze herself in between them.

"Okay okay. Let's not make a huge deal about this." The blonde-haired girl stated in a calm voice. "Boss, I think we should really start shooting now. We can't waste any more time."

Yoona glared at Jessica one more time before releasing a huge breath and turning around before walking away. Hyoyeon glanced at the brunette and sighed heavily before mouthing, 'What the heck is your problem?'

'Your arrogant boss! She's a huge problem.' Jessica mouthed back in annoyance.

'I'm warning you now. Don't get on her nerves.'

'I already am on it.'

'Don't screw up now or you'll lose the job.'

'Fine!"

Their inaudible conversation was cut off by Yoona's obviously angry voice that called out Hyoyeon's name. The assistant quickly marched off towards her boss who was already standing in front of the set with the camera on her hands.

After a while of exchanging mumbles with the photographer, Hyoyeon returned back to Jessica and ordered her to change her clothes. With the help of some make-up artists and clothing designers, Jessica's appearance was being transformed. While the slight touch of makeup was being applied on her face, Jessica took this opportunity to observe the tall and slim doe-eyed woman who was standing by the photoshoot set.

Jessica couldn't help but to admire those pair of deer eyes a little, they look so warm and alluring. She couldn't help but to also notice how thin and plump that girl's lips were everytime she'd open to speak. She couldn't help but to admire how very  focused and determined the photographer looked like with a serious expression on her face.

I have to admit, she is kind of cute. But she's an arrogant jerk.

"Sica, you ready?" Hyoyeon's voice caused her to snap out of her delirious thoughts. Jessica glanced at her body which was wearing nothing but a two piece bikini which exposed her smooth skin for the world to see. She haven't even noticed what she was wearing since she was too busy stealing glances at Yoona from time to time.

Shucks, what am I doing? I shouldn't have wasted my time laying my precious eyes on that despicable girl.

"Woah woah woah, why bikini?" Jessica asked meekly as she tried to cover her bare self with her own hands. One of the make-up artists chuckled while explaining that the theme of their photoshoot for today was summer vacation. Jessica's mission for today was to sport a bikini outfit.

"You look good in that." Hyoyeon exclaimed jokingly as she wiggled her eyebrows. Jessica ignored her friend's silly remark but her cheeks were slightly tinted in pink.

"HYO! WHERE'S THE MODEL? WE'VE GOT TO START SHOOTING NOW."

An impatient yell suddenly came from the set. Hyoyeon and Jessica looked at each other and nodded together. Jessica was very good at hiding her emotions; on the outside she only had a blank face on but on the inside she was actually feeling a lot nervous. She wished her knees didn't tremble and that her hands never shaked.

Yoona was busily fidgeting with her camera as she waited for the model to come out. Impatience started eating her up and she was about to storm off to tell the others to hurry until the person she has been waiting for finally stepped into the set.

Degeun. Degeun.

Yoona's heart dropped at the very sight of her. She almost dropped her camera if it wasn't for the helpful lace that was hanging around her neck, preventing the camera to receive any damage from falling towards the ground. Her lips parted into a muted gasp as she watched the gorgeous woman step right before her, wearing completely nothing but a thin swimsuit which shamelessly showed her curves of perfection.

Jessica on the other hand, tried not to be shy, but kept her face lowered in order to avoid the stares she's been receiving from the other people. She took this time to observe her surroundings; the set was decorated like a beach, with a blue sky behind her and a shining sun, and below her feet were standing on sand. Fake and tall coconut trees were also added into the background.

Jessica wondered why she was being so shy. She knew it wasn't just because of the stares of the other people.

Maybe because the arrogant photographer was staring at her too.

"Boss."

"Miss Im."

"Boss."

"YOONA-SHI!"

Yoona's eardrums seemed to have suffered a damage as her assistant yelled right at her. She turned her head to the side and saw her assistant motioning her to begin the photoshoot. As if snapping out of a trance, Yoona shook her head and blinked numerous times. She then realized what she's been doing and mentally smacked her own self for it.

She cleared before saying, "OKAY EVERYONE! LET'S BEGIN THE PHOTOSHOOT NOW!" The sound of hands clapping together had echoed across the entire room. The whole staff and crew went to their places and Yoona settled her eyes upon the gorgeous woman in front of her.

"Okay Jessica-shi." She stated in the calmest way possible. "Just do your job and pose."

---

Finally the day ended and Yoona had called it a day.

It was only 6pm in the evening and they've managed to finish their job and fulfill their goals for today. Yoona was tired yet she was satisfied with what she's obtained in her job. All the others were sent home early and only she, her assistant Hyoyeon, and the model Jessica Jung were left inside the studio.

Yoona had her eyes furrowed as she glanced through the following pictures in her laptop. She had a pokerface on but on the inside her heart was fluttering at every single photo of Jessica that her eyes laid on.

The woman was the definition of perfection.

Yoona had experienced working with a lot of beautiful women but never did she find someone so attractive like her. Jessica has this charismatic aura around her and an oozing appeal especially when you look at her smokey eyes. Yoona did not like the girl, but she was disturbingly attracted to her.

"What are you doing?" Hyoyeon suddenly appeared from behind, causing Yoona to flinch on her seat. She glared at the older girl before reaverting her gaze back to the goddess in her laptop's screen. "Wow, she looks amazing." Her assistant commented in amusement.

"Yeah..She is." Yoona tried not to sound enthusiastic. "But I think her posing needs more work. Her facial expression is good but her body is a bit stiff and it only shows how tensed she is. She needs to loosen up a bit."

Hyoyeon nodded, agreeing. "Maybe you should tell her that."

Yoona shook her head. "No. I think you should."

"You're the photographer here. You do it."

"You're my assistant. You have to listen to what I say."

"But you're the one taking her pictures! It'll be better if the advice comes from an expert like you."

"Aish. I don't want to talk to her!"

"Oh my God Yoona, the two of you are working on this project together. It's not avoidable to talk to her."

"But I don't want to."

"I really think you should."

"Why can't you just do what I say and tell her!"

"Tell me what?" Yoona froze upon hearing that icy voice ringing passed through her ears. She tilted her head to the side and saw the brunette standing by, arms folded over her chest, and her left eyebrow raised up questioningly at the two of them.

Hyoyeon grabbed this chance and pointed a finger at the doe-eyed girl. "Boss has something important to tell you."

Yoona was about to protest but Hyoyeon already rushed out of the room before she even can. She sighed and glared at the direction where her 'helpful' assistant had dissappeared into. Now she was left all alone with Jessica and there's nothing she can do to escape this fate.

"Tell me what, Miss Im?" Yoona felt a spine-chilling sensation after hearing the way the brunette would purr her name. Things didn't go better when Jessica started taking steps towards her, her eyes never leaving Yoona's. She looked like a predator slowly approaching its pathetic prey. "Is there.." Before she knew it, Jessica was already right in front of her, her finger grazing softly against Yoona's chin. "..something you'd want to let me know about?"

Yoona quickly spanked the older girl's hand away from her face. It was fortunate that the brunette did not take that gesture with offense. Jessica maintained her blank expression as the taller girl got up to her feet and cleared .

"Yes. There is something I'd want you to know." Yoona stated in a serious tone, although her voice cracked a little once Jessica moved a little closer to her. "I-It's about your posing skills." The taller girl quickly turned around and walked away, silently hoping that the temptation of the devil would go away.

A sly smile tugged at the end of Jessica's lips. She was feeling quite amused as to how awkward and fidgety the other girl would act towards her. "What about my posing skills?" She skipped her way towards the set of the photoshoot where Yoona was standing. She inwardly chuckled at how Yoona would shift away to maintain the distance between them whenever she attempts to move closer.

This girl isn't that arrogant after all. Hah, I've found her weak spot.

"I-I've noticed in your photos that you looked kind of s-stiff." Yoona stammered as she browsed through her camera. "Your facial expressions are great, but you really need to work it out with your body."

Jessica nodded obediently, peeking over the younger girl's shoulder in order to see herself on the camera. Although she was really irritated by the attitude of the younger girl, Jessica couldn't help but to admire how much of a professional and an expert Yoona is in her job. Indeed Jessica looked kind of stiff in her photos.

"I see."

"Have you really been modelling ever since you were young?" Yoona suddenly asked.

"Yes. Why?"

"It's just that.." Yoona's voice trailed off as she rubbed her neck. The look on her face shows how much she's hesitating to continue with her remark. "...You look like you kind of lack of experience."

And she hit the bullseye. Jessica's calm face slowly retorted into a confused one. She certainly did not look pleased after hearing the younger girl's remark. "Excuse me? Did you just say I lack of experience?"

"Well that's not what I directly mean."

"That's what you just said!"

"Hey, you don't have to raise your voice at me." Yoona narrowed her eyes. "You cannot raise your voice at your boss."

"Well don't blame me for you criticizing my abilities! How could you say that I lack of experience?" Jessica demanded.

"You said you've been modelling since middle school. By now you should've perfected the skills and manners of posing. But glancing through your newly-taken photos.." Yoona's breathing hitched. "..it just isn't enough."

"It just isn't enough?" Jessica looked astounded, as if she cannot accept that her modelling skills were underestimated. She snatched the camera from Yoona and began deleting the photos, much to the younger girl's dismay. "Hey! Give it back to me! Jessica-shi!" Yoona struggled to use her long arms to reach out for her camera but Jessica was too agile that she managed to keep the gadget away  from the hands of the taller girl.

"Yah! What the hell are you doing?!" Yoona yelled angrily. "Hey! I said give it back to me!"

Once Jessica succeeded to delete all of her photos, she smirked and threw the camera back to the hands of the photographer. "There. You have it now. Happy?" Her lips curved upwards into a victorious smile. While Yoona pressed the buttons on her camera as she frantically searched for the photos that Jessica had just deleted.

"No no no.." Yoona's face was filled with worry and panic. "No no no..my pictures.."

"Don't you mean my pictures?" Jessica mocked.

After a few moments, Yoona slowly lifted her eyes off the camera and laid it upon the other girl. Her doe eyes which used to look so warm and gentle, were now so furious and narrow as if there was going to be a fire igniting on it. Jessica took a step back upon witnessing the taller girl's sudden anger. Yoona's hands which were holding her camera were already shaking.

"What..did you..just do." Yoona muttered almost inaudibly through her gritted teeth.

"I-I.." Jessica tried to think of a way to save herself, but she knew it was too late when her back collided against the hard wall. "..But it's all your fault! You're the one who said my pictures weren't enough!"

"Because they really weren't!" Yoona shouted, her voice echoing across the silent studio room. Her sudden outburst had caused Jessica to flinch on her position.

"That's why I deleted them for you!" Jessica continued to defend herself. "What's better to do with a bunch of worthless photos other than deleting them?!" She wasn't aware of it, but tears started to gather up in the corners of her eyes. Jessica only realized it when she felt cold drops of liquid on her cheek. Once it began, she couldn't stop.

She started crying.

She cried because she was angry.

She cried because she was furious.

She cried because she was guilty.

She didn't mean to delete those photos. Her anger and emotions got way ahead of her. But it already happened and there's no taking it back. Now if Yoona's photo company fails to succeed in the project, it will be all blamed on her. Because it's all her fault.

"Aish.." Jessica frustratingly wiped away her tears with the back of her hands, unaware of the pair of eyes that were staring pitifully at her. "Gosh, I freaking hate you. And this job too." She mumbled mindlessly.

Yoona wasn't doing anything. She didn't even say anything. At one moment she was so angry and furious at this girl for deleting those photos, but after witnessing her cry like that, Yoona had no idea what to feel anymore. It was as if that girl's tears seemed to have melted all the anger that was built up inside of her.

Seeing her cry like that, Yoona felt the urge to just take her in her arms and kiss away her tears.

"It's my fault. You can blame it all on me. Fire me if you want. Sue me--" Jessica's nonsense ramblings were cut off once Yoona leaned forward and used her thumb to wipe the remaining tears on her cheek. The brunette felt herself paralyze upon the sudden affectionate touch the taller girl had given her. It seemed that just by feeling Yoona's soft fingertips tenderly brushing against her skin, melted her stress away and made her feel a little secure.

"Stop it." Yoona mumbled softly. "You don't have to cry like a stupid baby."

Jessica glared at her but didn't move away from the younger girl's touch. "It's all my fault. I know you're angry with me. I ruined your job, I deserve whatever kind of treatment you give me. Just tell me when I need to pack my things and leave."

Yoona suddenly chuckled lowly, earning a slightly puzzled look from the shorter girl.

"Aigoo. Can't you just say 'sorry' instead of babbling about such unnecessary things?"

Jessica lowered her head, trying to prevent the pink tints on her cheek to be showing. "Fine. I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?" Yoona asked in an amused tone of her voice, urging the older girl to continue.

Jessica took a deep breath. She always held this huge pride and never in her life did she apologized to someone. But she's feeling kind of relieved that Yoona will be the first one to receive such an apology from her. "I'm sorry for deleting the pictures. I'm sorry for showing up late for work this morning. And most of all..." She bit her lower lip and hesitated to continue.

Yoona stared at her in anticipation.

"..I'm sorry for acting like a b*tch." Jessica finally said, earning a smile from Yoona which reached from ear to ear. "Why are you smiling?" She asked once she noticed the happy look on the taller girl's face.

"You finally did it." Yoona exclaimed, the smile never leaving her face. "All you had to do was to apologize."

"But aren't you mad? I deleted the photos. What about the magazine project?"

Yoona sighed deeply as she glanced down at the camera she was holding in her hands. She did feel a little bad that she had lost what she worked hard for, but after witnessing Jessica cry and hear out her most-awaited apology, nothing else mattered to Yoona in that very moment.

"It's okay. We can re-do the photoshoot."

"But we don't have much time." Jessica said in worry. Finally, she actually cared.

Yoona paused for a while to give it a thought. An idea popped into her mind. "There is something we can do. Well that is, if you're okay with it."

"Do I have a right to refuse? I was the one who made the mistake after all." Jessica chuckled a little. Yoona felt her heart skip a beat at the sight. It was the first time she ever saw Jessica smile and laugh like that. She wished she would be able to see it more often.

Yoona nodded. "Okay then. We'll begin the photoshoot right here, right now."

Jessica positioned herself on the set, wearing the same set of clothing again. She was wearing the two-pieced bikini and Yoona was lucky enough to be able to resist staring at the older girl. Instead she focused on doing her job by taking a lot of pictures.

At the first few takes, Yoona was clearly not satisfied. Jessica's body was still a little stiff and it did not look very much appealing in the photo. They tried again and again but to no avail. Finally when the brunette was about to give up, Yoona decided that she should help.

Yoona walked into the set and stood right behind Jessica. Jessica felt her heart throb and her breathing hitch once she felt a pair of hands hold her petite waist.

"Jessica-shi, maybe you could turn your body in this direction. Yeah, that's it." Jessica tried to focus on what the photographer was teaching her, but feeling Yoona's body pressed against her back wasn't exactly helping her focus at all.

Yoona on the other hand, was exploding inside. She had never been this close to someone before but it felt so darn good. Yoona tried to snap out of it and tried to focus on suggesting some good moves and poses for Jessica to follow.

"Yes! That's it." Yoona held Jessica's waist and forced the older girl to twist her body a little to the side causing for their faces to meet. Their eyes locked into one intense gaze and Yoona could only feel her heart pounding so hard against her chest. Jessica was having the exact same feelings and she couldn't manage to pull away from the lovestruck gaze that they shared.

There was an awkward tension in the air.

It was when Yoona started leaning forward, with Jessica doing the same. Their face started to lean closer, and the gap between them was slowly fading away. But before the tips of their noses could touch, Yoona seemed to have gain consciousness and quickly turned her head away. She missed witnessing the dissappointed look on Jessica's face.

"O-Okay. T-That was a g-good pose. K-Keep it up." Jessica felt her heart drop once Yoona's hands left her waist. But just when Yoona was about to walk out, her foot tripped over one of the wires on the ground which caused her to lose her balance. Jessica tried to catch her by seizing her waist, but the two of them only ended up falling to the ground at the same time. Jessica landed right on top of Yoona.

Yoona had her eyes squeezed shut as she felt her back collide against the solid ground. She let out a small painful groan but as she opened her eyes, her heart skipped against and she was completely mindblown. Jessica was right in front of her, the small gap between them was only half a centimeter. Yoona's doe eyes trailed downwards towards the shorter girl's pink and plump lips, causing her to her own unconsciously.

Jessica opened her own eyes and her gaze met with Yoona's. Her heart flipped.

"Are you okay?" Jessica managed to ask with a hoarse voice.

"Y-Yeah. I'm fine." Yoona couldn't stop a smile from forming on her face. "Actually, never better." She leaned upwards and captured Jessica's lips with her own.

The next day it was another busy day at Yoona's studio room.

The second photoshoot was about to take over and all of the staff and crew were already preparing the set of the photoshoot. Yoona was sitting behind her desk, glancing through the perfect pictures she took last night with Jessica.

Jessica. The mention of her name made Yoona smile like a lovesick puppy.

"Boss, I'm afraid to say she's going to be late again." Hyoyeon remarked as she approached the smiling doe-eyed girl.

"It's okay. It's actually what I like about her." Yoona's smile only widened even more before letting out a small giggle as if she was some gullible high school girl who was experiencing her first puppy love. Hyoyeon stared at her boss weirdly, wondering if Yoona was undergoing some kind of mental disorder.

Just then, the door banged open and in came Jessica. She didn't look as haggard like yesterday. She entered the studio and smiled at everyone around her. Hyoyeon raised an eyebrow upon this weird behavior of her friend. Jessica wasn't usually this friendly.

Hyoyeon glanced at Jessica then at to Yoona. Something weird is definitely going on.

Jessica met Yoona's eyes and they exchanged a sweet smile.

Yoona suddenly got up from her seat and slammed her hands against her table. "Alright everyone. Before we start the photoshoot, I want you to all go out and have some snacks first." The whole staff were surprised at Yoona's sudden announcement. Yoona would always give priority to work, sometimes she won't even allow her workers to take a break due to their busy work.

But this time..

"Snacks? Are you serious boss?" Hyoyeon asked.

"Didn't you hear what I just said?" Yoona raised her voice a little as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I'm trying to be generous here. Well, do you want to take your break or not?"

The whole crew didn't waste anymore time and started heading out of the studio room. Hyoyeon hesitated to leave, but after receiving that threatening glare from Yoona, she eventually did. Jessica was about to follow the blonde assistant and leave the door, until she felt a pair of arms snaking around her waist.

"And where do you think you're going?" Her body shivered upon feeling the familiar warmth of her lover's touch.

"Uhm, snacks? Isn't that what you just ordered us workers to do?" Jessica stated in a teasing manner, closing the door in front of her.

Yoona released her grip on the shorter so that Jessica could face her properly. She affectionately caressed the older girl's rosy cheek with her hand. "You're not a worker. You're my girlfriend." Jessica gave in to her touch. The two of them shared one chaste kiss, one which lasted for a few seconds, but for them it lasted much longer than that.

Yoona rested her forehead on top of Jessica's as they exchanged smiles.

"And Sicababy?"

"Yeah Yoongie?"

"I almost forgot to tell you. About the pictures that you deleted from my camera last night..uhm I actually already had a copy of them in my laptop."

"Oh okay, that's good to hear....Wait, what?!"

Chapter 16: This so sweet, I can't stop myself from the 'Aw' and 'Awh' and 'Ooh' the whole way through. Why'd YoonSic breakup if Yoona still like/love Sica and Sica felt the same?
