BB cream, also known as Blemish Balm or Blemish Base, is a cosmetic item sold in Korea. Calling it a ‘miracle cream’ is probably not far wrong. This multi purpose and multi tasking all-in-one cream is an anti-aging moisturizer, UV protecting tinted skin smoother, imperfection concealer and primer all in one. Fans of the product have claimed smoother, more even and brighter skin tones. At first there was a very limited variety on the BB cream. Since asians were huge fans of whitening beauty products, asian BB creams were catered to lighten and/or whiten skin and to eliminate excessive oily shine (facial oil absorbing paper is another huge product category in Asia).
