Chapter Twenty-Five

Taemin

I put on the heavy headphones, getting ready to record the song. I cleared my throat and glanced at Seohyun. She waved in a friendly manner. I waved back politely. She smiled and pouted.

"Are you ready, Taemin oppa? We have to do our best for such a wonderful song."

I nodded. "Ne. I'm ready. Are you?"

"Of course! I always am."

The man across the room (I don't really know who he is) raised his fingers in the air, couting down for us. Three, two, one. I took a deep breath and slowly, music filled my ears. My eyes wandered over to SHINee and Gigi. They all gave me encouraging looks except for Gigi, who was busy staring at the floor. What's up with her?

I started to sing my first line. "~When we used to cuddle up together, laughing at funny jokes, I remember.~"

Seohyun sang. "~When we cried over fights, separated ourselves, I remember.~"

"~So now," I sang. "~Why can't I let go? Why do I feel cold? Like a broken heart left in snow. . ."

"~Will you remember those times?"

Then the chorus began. This is where Seohyun and I sang together. "~Those times when we kissed, those times when we'd miss. . . having fun. Being us. Those times when we danced, those times when we fell in love. Do you still remember?"
