Chapter Eighteen

Taeyoon and I sat down across from his friends. We were still at the bookstore, but in the cafe. After looking around and buying some books like nerds, we all decided to get drinks. I sipped my mango iced tea cheerfully. Actually, it wasn't really mine, since Taeyoon was the one who had bought it for me. He's so sweet and nice!

"Yah, Taeyoon. You and Gigi look really cozy over there." Jongyong said romantically.

I observed Taeyoon, who had his arm curled around my shoulder in an awkward pose. He seemed nervous; like he'd never done that before. On the other hand, I felt pretty comfortable in his arms. . .

"Shush, hyung! Don't tease me!" Taeyoon murmured.

Key joined in. "Taeyoonie, go on and kiss her. Kissie-kiss!"

Taeyoon blushed deeply and buried his face in my arm. I laughed. "You guys, quit it. Besides, kissing is private for us."

Everyone made whistling sounds while I blushed as well. Minho sighed. "Yah. Stop teasin' them. Just shut up. Jongyong, don't ya remember how we did the same with you?"

Now Jongyong was looking at his hands. "Pssh. I'm single now," Then he looked at me and winked. "But if you ever dump Taeyoon, you can date me."

Taeyoon immediately scowled and yelled at Jongyong while the rest of us smiled at his jealousy. I had never felt so flattered. At school, barely anyone paid attention to me except for my friends. No one cared too deeply about me. That's why Taeyoon's love for me makes me feel happy and special.

Onew spoke up. "Taeyoon, when's your brother gonna give me back that video game that I let him borrow?"
