Woohyun would listen to anything Sunggyu had to say. Whether it was happy or sad, whether it made Woohyun glad or worried, he would listen to anything. Sunggyu needed that and Woohyun understood that. Woohyun was happy to be Sunggyu’s support, especially as it seemed like life was so much easier for Woohyun than it was for Sunggyu. He could be happy when Sunggyu could not and he would lend Sunggyu some of that happiness in those times. Eventually Woohyun found himself falling in love with Sunggyu.

It started off as a simple crush, but it still took Woohyun by surprise. He’d always considered himself straight but he could not deny that he thought of Sunggyu as more than a friend. He struggled with this reality and vowed to himself that he would tell no one. One night though it became too much and Dongwoo happened to be there as Woohyun melted down. He listened patiently and understandingly to all that Woohyun told him. He agreed that it was best that Sunggyu never found out, for the sake of Woohyun’s friendship with him. And so Woohyun began his life of denial, trying his best to keep his affection for Sunggyu under control, and when it got too much, when another member got too close to Sunggyu and Woohyun thought he was going to die with jealousy, Dongwoo would be there to listen and calm him down.

Then one day Infinite had a day off and Sunggyu asked Woohyun to spend the day with him. Woohyun said yes of course. And so they spent a day shopping and just wandering the streets, talking and content with the others company. “We should head back” Woohyun hated to call the day to an end but the sun was beginning to set. Sunggyu didn’t say anything or move from where he was stood look out over the river. Eventually he said “what’re you hiding from me Woohyun?” Woohyun was taken aback by the question but tried to feign innocence. “Nothing! Why would you ask a stupid question like that???” “Because you’re acting weird around me. You seem to keep your distance more but I see you glaring at me from the other side of the room when I’m with other members. You zone out when I’m talking to you and you and Dongwoo have suddenly gotten a lot closer. Something is up, what is it?” Woohyun could feel Sunggyu staring at him but he couldn’t bear to meet his gaze. “It’s nothing” he tried again. Sunggyu huffed. “Woohyun, if you don’t tell me I will assume you have committed murder and report you to the police” “WHAT?” Woohyun looked at Sunggyu like he was crazy, but Sunggyu just shrugged. “It’s the only logical conclusion I can come to! So if I’m wrong tell me what it really is!” “There’s nothing to tell!” He exclaimed. Sunggyu let out an annoyed sound and moved toward Woohyun. Woohyun felt his breathing start quicken and his heart beat fast as Sunngyu came to stand in front of him and pin him against the barrier along the river. “Tell me.”
