Hyung Jun was losing his concentration in the meeting when the door suddenly
opened, and he found his dad walking into the room with none other than Hana. 

He could only stare in astonishment when she was introduced to the board as the new marketing
manager. It was also revealed that she had been receiving training in Japan for the past two years.

He managed to get hold of her after the meeting ended and 
waited till everyone had left the room before he spoke.

“Yah Yoon Hana... what’s going on? Why didn’t you contact me at all?”

“I couldn’t...”

“What do you mean by you couldn’t? Do you know how worried I was?”

“Hyung Jun ah... I... mianhae...”

“Forget it”

Hyung Jun left the room feeling frustrated over the fact that she was still 
keeping the real reason from him. He couldn’t believe that she was so near 
yet so far, and that his dad was actually aware of her whereabouts when all 
he could do was to hope for her to reappear again.

That night, he returned home after driving around aimlessly for a few hours 
and found his dad waiting for him in the living room.

“I thought you’d be happy to see her...”

“You knew where she was all along... why did you keep it from me?”

“You never asked. Besides, it was for your own good”

“What good did it do? Why did you have to send her away? Couldn't you just let her return to work?”

“Would you have really taken your work more seriously if I let her return just like that?”

“But how could you send a girl to a foreign land all alone?”

“I let her bring her mum along too. But she’s no longer around unfortunately...”

“What?”

“She had a relapse not long after and passed away”

He lay on bed trying to absorb everything he had just heard. 
Maybe his dad was right. 
He wasn’t sure if he would have had the motivation to work as hard
as he did to become who he was today if he let Hana return. 

But he couldn’t figure out why did she agree to his dad’s plans.
He was about to give her a call when he realised it was already past midnight.

“It’s a meeting with Mr Lee next right?”

“There was a slight change in schedule Ms Yoon, it’ll be dinner with Mr Kim instead”

“Oh... ok. What? Dinner? Which Mr Kim?”

“Uh... you’ll know when you get there”

Hana’s assistant slammed the car door shut and signalled for the driver to 
drive off immediately before she could question any further, and she knew
it could be no one else but him. Just what was he up to again?
