“Let’s meet. I’m at the park opposite your place”

Hyun Joong sent a text message to Gabriella after reaching the park 
just a few minutes before her birthday. 

He lit the candles as he saw her approaching from a distance and hid behind a tree.

“Happy Birthday Gabbie”

She turned around and gasped in surprise as she saw him with the cake.

“Oppa... komawo”

He handed her the knife for the cake but she refused to take it, much to his amazement.

“I want my birthday song”

“What?”

“I don’t care. How can I make my wish and cut the cake without a birthday song?!”

“Alright...”

Leading her towards the bench, he took out the guitar he had hidden beneath it and began playing. 
She flashed a contented smile after he finished the birthday song, and went on to make 
her wish before cutting the cake. 

He began playing the song he had been practising soon after, 
and she hugged him in delight after hearing him play her favourite tune.

Her sudden hug sent his heart thumping furiously and she backed off 
upon realising their close proximity. 

Brushing her hair aside, he was about to kiss her when he heard a shout from nearby 
and they turned around to find Krystel covering Kyu Jong’s mouth with her hand, looking 
apologetic for failing to stop him earlier. 

They had apparently trailed her after spotting her walking towards the park on their way back home.

“Yah Kim Kyu Jong, one moment you were trying to set us up and 
now you’re objecting to it. Can you make up your mind?”

“I’ll come after you if you do not treat her well”

“Point taken”

He grabbed onto a surprised Gabriella and planted his lips on hers, putting 
Kyu Jong into a frenzy again and Krystel began dragging him away to prevent 
him from getting in their way any further.

“Oppa! How could you?!”

“You didn’t like it?”

“It was my first... How could you just...”

“First? You mean you have not”

“Yah! Have you ever seen me going out with any other guy throughout 
the time you knew me? Apart from Junki whom you dragged me away from...”

“Oh... we can always do it again. Properly this time”

“Go away!!”
