“What happened? How is she?”

Hyun Joong asked the moment he rushed into the ward after receiving
a call from Krystel after his performance. He found Gabriella seated on
the bed sobbing uncontrollably and he couldn’t make out what was she 
saying to Krystel who was trying to calm her down.

“Get out. Stel why did you call him?”

“It’s not his fault Kyu Oppa... he didn’t know about it...”

Gabriella intervened in an attempt to stop her fuming brother from 
heating things up but he was too enraged to listen to her pleas.

“Stop speaking up for him! How can he not know about such a thing? 
Where was he when you were struggling in the emergency room? 
Yah Kim Hyun Joong, if all you can think of is your band and dream 
of making it big please stay away from my sister”

Kyu Jong had rushed down to Hyun Joong’s place where Gabriella was
waiting for him to return after receiving a call from her for help. 

He found her curled up on the couch in pain and rushed her to the hospital, 
and was appalled to find that she had suffered a miscarriage due to 
complications from taking painkillers.

Hyun Joong remained silent as he couldn’t seem to find the right words to say,
trying to digest everything he had just heard. He had gotten too used to her
presence around him, to the point where he probably never realised that he 
had been neglecting her and that something was not quite right.

Their relationship took a turn for the worst and they soon parted ways after 
that fight and she decided she had enough of it. 

He knew it might have been too much for her to take, and hoped that she 
would return after sorting out her thoughts. But she never did and instead 
took up the offer to relocate to the States for work.

He tried to get her contact but Kyu Jong had forbidden anyone who knew 
about it to reveal her exact location. 

It was almost a year since she left and he was living everyday as it passed, 
feeling empty without her around in his life.

He missed having her surprise him at home with a ready cooked meal after his
performances as he barely had enough time to grab a meal before rushing off 
to perform after work. He missed the times she would just snuggle up next to 
him when he was engrossed in practicing his guitar on bed.

“Hyung, come with me”

Young Saeng arrived at his place one afternoon and forced him to get out 
of the house with him. He refused to reveal where they were heading to until 
they finally reached the destination.

“What are we doing here?”
