I was not satisfied with how I had written it nor I was satisfied with the plot hence, while still keeping it similar to the original, I'm planning on changing quite a few things, probably making a whole new story inspired by the original one...or maybe very similar, I don't know, I'll see how things turn out. [Chapter 1 Extract]
"Mmmm" I stirred myself after hours of flight and stepped out in the welcoming sun of my dear homeland. It had been two long years and I had missed it dearly, the delicious and mouth-watering traditional food, the warm and kind ahjummas standing behind the street-stalls and most of all, my family, my stupid adorable big brothers, my ever so cute and caring bestfriend, my kind-hearted father and last but obviously not least, my lovely mother. I was feeling extremely good that day, it probably was the best day I had ever had and I felt like nothing could ruin my happiness...or so I thought. It hadn't even been ten minutes since I had landed, when my phone died during a call I was making to inform Taemin I had reached safely destination, when a girl accidentally grabbed my hair pulling some strands out and as if it wasn't enough, I found myself being shoved against the hard floor of the busy airport of Incheon, my luggage thudding loudly and my bag emptying its contents right next to me. Just my luck... I groaned inwardly and cursed under my breath, rubbing my sore and watching in dismay all the fragile gifts I had bought from the U.S.A., shattered mercilessly on the floor. I wanted to cry, God only knew how much I had gone through to let them allow me to take them in Korea and give them to my family and friends, but now all my efforts, all my struggles had become useless seeing as now they couldn't be of any use.
"Are you planning to camp there all night or are you actually going to stand up and get out of the way?" A sudden voice snapped me out of my little world of depression making me notice the pair of shoes in front of me. I slowly looked up just to meet a pair of piercing eyes glaring at me. I double checked the boy, frankly amazed by his handsome looks yet not less taken aback by his harsh words, which made it such a shame that a good-looking boy like him was in reality so not a gentleman. Quite irritated by how things had been going during the last fifteen minutes and feeling wronged, I sent a dirty look at the boy, paying him back for his harshness with the deepest glare I could afford.
"Well? Cat got your tongue? Listen, I know I'm handsome and all, but I don't have time to comfort your crazy fangirl heart, so pull your up and move out of the way. I have a plane to take." The boy practically ordered. I rose a hostile brow as my nostrils flared, a little more and steam would be coming out of my ears. Taking a deep breath I stood up to face the jerk and give him a proper scolding.
"Listen you little piece of shi--poo, I am not in the mood to discuss with an unmannered conceited jerk like you. What? Move out of the way? How about YOU move out of the way? This is the least you can do since you were the one to shove me on the floor, and without even apologizing if I may add. Not to mention that these souvenirs aren't going to fix themselves anytime soon and my efforts in bringing them here are just going to be useless! And what? Comfort my crazy fangirl heart??? First of all, who the heck has ever asked you to comfort me? Second, who the heck said I was your fangirl? Third, why would I even be your freaking fangirl?!?!" I shrieked, letting out all the anger that had piled in me.
"You mean you don't know who I am?" The boy asked shocked, as if it were my duty to know who he was.
"Gosh, why should I? It's not like the whole world turns around you! Boy, you should really come back to Earth..." I mumbled exasperated while picking up all my belongings and started heading away, but before leaving I turned around to face him "Well? Cat got your tongue?" I mocked him and left, grinning in accomplishment.
