Kevin say what?

Ordinary Girl

After all these years, because of Kevin, I lost complete contact with Ukiss

Just now, when they arrived and stood next to me for pictures, I was speechless

What do I say to them? Hi guys, sorry I changed my number? Ughh!!

Unfortunately Kevin was the first one up, meaning he stood next to me

I couldn’t help but turn my head and take a peek at Kevin through the corner of my eyes

Kevin stood there, wearing a grey suit with a white shirt and blue necktie

He’s matured, of course we both have changed over the years

He turned to me then smiled, holding out his hand

When I placed my hand in his, even though it was only for a few seconds

It made me happy

“Congratulations for your win this week” he told me then pulled away from the handshake

“Come on Krystal let’s go” Jason ushered

I bowed to the group, but I couldn’t help but turn back to look at them before entering the door

I grabbed a glass of champagne and tried to entertain myself while Jason ran off to hit on girls

“Kris Long time no see!”

I turned around to be greeted by familiar faces I knew too well

“Alexander oppa” I smiled “How are you guys?”

“Look at you! You’ve really grown in this business”

“Wheres my hug?” Dongho demanded

I wrapped my arms around him for a couple seconds

It’s been a long time…since someone hugged me and showed me they cared

Besides Jason, the dummy who always causes me problems

“We’ll let you in on a secret” Eli winked

“what secret?”

“About Kevin” Kiseop answered

The four boys turned to look over their shoulder

I followed their gaze

They were looking at Kibum, Soohyun, and Kevin, who were conversing with other celebrities and beautiful women in cocktail dresses

I cleared my throat “It’s been great talking to you guys. I’ll see you around”

“Kris!” Dongho called out

“That guy” Eli smirked

Alexander finished for him “Never forgot about you”

“These 3 years he couldn’t look at any other woman” Kiseop continued

“I’m sure he regrets letting you go and you regret it too. Don’t you?”

I glared at Dongho for sending that question towards me

“We’ve all known you for so long, 6 or 7 years that’s way more time than we need to figure what you’re thinking” Eli muttered

“Besides you’re getting old! You’re already getting close to the age of marriage. Just marry Kevin” Alexander chuckled

I opened my mouth then stopped myself from talking about Kevin, so a random criticism flew out of my lips “Worry about yourself first oppa! You’re older than all of us” I pointed at Alexander

He pouted and I looked down in shame

“I’ll see you guys aro-”

A shoulder bounced off mine

I bowed slightly then looked up “sorry for bumping into…”

Kevin bowed slightly then turned around to join the others with a smile

I don’t want to say I was disappointed, but I am…

“I’m going for a walk. Don’t look for me” I whispered to Jason, I slipped away into the crowd before he could protest

Why have I been so hung up on this one guy for so many years? I wish I could just it all, that way I could be happy without him

My hand subconsciously reached into my purse and pulled out the headband, the one he gave me as a sign of starting over

My fingers ran over the fabric gently before placing it on my head

A voice suddenly spoke up causing me to start panicking

A face emerged from behind the shadows and I looked down while my hand was still against my chest, hoping my heart would stop racing

“You still have it?”

“what are you doing out here?”

“Here to ask you something”

“then what do you want mister big shot who ignores people?” I scoffed

“Ignore people? I don’t ignore people”

“Oh now you cant even remember seeing me. I knew it. You’ve changed”

Kevin grabbed a hold of my arm, and when I turned back to glare at him

He looked at me with those gleaming round brown eyes, the same expression he had when we first met when he saved me from the crowd

“Let go of me! Kev-”

I was rudely interrupted by Kevin, who smashed his warm lips against mine

My eyes widen, even though I knew it was to shut me up

It brought back all memories of Kevin and I together in the past, the happy ones

Kevin pulled away then grabbed my left hand, sliding a cold round object onto my fourth finger

“We were separated for so long and I know we’ve been through a lot. I just can’t be without you. Maybe not right now, but Marry me?”

I looked at him with my jaw hanging

“when you’re ready you can decide to wear that ring” Kevin turned around so I desperately tried to call out to him

“k-ke-k Oppa!”

Kevin spun around, looking into my wet eyes

“I will”
