“Yess and that was Krystal with her debut here on music bank!” the mc announced

I walked off the stage then ran into the arms of Youngmin

Youngmin patted my head “Good job little one”

“Yah! You give the rookies hugs first before us!” Alexander shrieked

“Yo shortie! Wheres our hug?!” Eli screeched

I looked around and immediately noticed that Kevin didn’t even bother to come backstage to watch me

He cant even treat me like a sister?! He cant show that he at least cares?

After the mess of an after party in my waiting room, I decided to take a breath of fresh air alone

“Na na na~”

My song was cut short when I found Kevin standing with that girl in broad daylight

“mmmm oppaa~ Stay a little longer” she whined

“I have to go baby. I’m going to be late”

I couldn’t stand this sight anymore

So I turned around hoping I could just walk away and pretend nothing happened

Maybe I was too focused thinking about Kevin…

I found my foot caught in between a crack and fell frontward with a thud

“ahh…jincha ughh” I winced

“Krissy!”

“K-kevin oppa…”

Kevin sat down across from me then blew on my cuts softly

“Any other cuts? Let me see”

“Oppa” the girl cleared

“uhm this is my girlfriend, Hana”

“Hi uhmm Hana unnie I’m Kevin’s…” I paused

“good friend. Shes like my real sister. Ukiss’s little sister” Kevin finished for me

“yeah…little sister…” I faked a smile “You two keep talking I’m going to go back in”

“No we’re done talking I’ll go with you”

In a quick movement he had picked me up in his arms and began to walk towards the buildings

“oppa!”

“I’ll talk to you later Hana!”

“Oppa…Let me go”

“Why? You cant walk, besides we haven’t really gotten to talk yet”

“Theres nothing to talk about”

“we haven’t talked for two years. There is definitely stuff we could talk about”

“Then let me get to the point. Did you forget what happened 2 years ago? Did you forget about me? That’s why you have a girlfriend?”

Kevins arms tensed up and he froze in his spot

“you cant even answer me. How are we supposed to even have a conversation?”

Kevin swallowed hard

“let me go”

“No let’s talk”

“You were right Kevin…what you said two years ago. That we would lose contact and barely speak to each other after all this time. You don’t even need me anymore”

Kevins nose flared “That’s not true and you know it!”

“PUT ME DOWN!” I squealed

Kevin placed me on a bench

“Let me return something to you!”

Kevin caught the headband I threw at him, at the sight of his reaction I’m sure he remembered this headband

“This belongs to you”

Kevin held the head band pieces in his palm

“why did you break it?!” His eyes widened in disbelief

“Because!...this is how we are now.”

“I gave this to you, how could you do this to it!”

“Because It and I both aren’t important enough. Keep it I don’t need it anymore”

“Krystal! There you are!”

I limped towards Youngmin

“What happened to you? That’s the same leg, did you hurt your ankle again?”

“No I’m fine”

“come on get on. Let’s get you back inside. You have to perform tomorrow too.” Youngmin sighed “what am I suppose to do with you little missy”

Youngmin pinched my cheeks then ushered for me to get on his back

Kevin was filled with anger, He pushed past us and raged into the building

But what hurt me the most was when I looked back, the two pieces of the headband laid on the patterned concrete floor
