“What was that back there?”

Taemin grinned with delight

“Oppa!”

“You should call me yeobo for now on!” he sang

“Stop the car”

“why?”

“Stop the car” I repeated sternly

Taemin did as told and pulled the car over to the side

My fingers automatically pushed the seatbelt release button and pulled the car door open

“Yah! Krystal Lee! This is the freeway! Where the heck are you going?!”

“Somewhere without you around”

“Do you hate me that much!”

I ran my fingers through my hair “No oppa…I don’t hate you. But this is not..it’s not suppose to happen”

“I know! You don’t have to say it and I know. It’s Kevin Hyung. Even if you don’t like me then use me. Use me to make Kevin jealous!” Taemin exploded

“Taeminnie I’m not going to use you! You’re my friend, I cant do that”

“Is there really no chance of us being together? You said yes back there. You really cant even try?”

I’ve been trying so hard to forget Kevin…can I do it? Maybe…I wish I could go back to the old times where I was in love with Taemin

I reversed my steps and held onto the car door handle “Drive me back to my practice room. Oppa’s going to be mad”

A hand wrapped around my elbow and swerved me around

“You still didn’t answer me”

“I’ll give you a chance, But give me some time”

Warmth returned to Taemin’s eyes “I knew you wouldn’t just leave me”

I pulled away from his embrace “let’s go! Manager oppa is going to be so mad!”

“un!”

“You didn’t have to come in with me. Just go home and rest”

“As your boyfriend, I want to take care of you as much as possible” Taemin grinned

He held the door open for me and before I could take a step a girl yelled out my name

“Krystal lee!”

“oh aren’t you..?”

“Yes I’m Hana. Kevin’s girlfriend”

“Hana unnie? What are you doing here?”

Without warning a hand swung across my face

My hand held onto the burning cheek and I looked at her with confusion

“Yah! Why are you hitting her?!” Taemin interrupted

“It’s okay oppa. I’m okay”

“I’m here to warn you to stay away from my boyfriend! He’s MINE! MINE! You hear me!?”

“What does he have to do with me!?”

An item hit my forehead “Take this back!”

Hana unnie stomped away and I was more confused than ever

“yah! That woman…Krissy. You okay? Let me see your cheek”

“wait…” I kneeled down and picked up the item thrown at me

 The headband pieces? But it was missing back at the courtyard…

But why did Hana unnie have them? Unless..she listened in on our conversation and took it after we left? Or possibly..Kevin went back and kept it till now?

“yah did she hit you too hard? Why aren’t you answering? Krissyy!”

“huh? Oh. What is it?”

“Your cheek really hurt still?” he lightly glided over the cheek

“aghh! It stings”

“sowwwy”

“aighh your aegyo doesn’t work on me! Let’s go inside”

My grip on the headband pieces tightened

No matter how hard to I try to get away, Kevin just keeps turning up again

“Taemin!! You told me you were going to take care of her! What is this?!”

“Oppa! It’s not Taemin’s fault. This..uhm one crazed fan came up to me and slapped me. Taemin cant hit a girl”

“Okay I’ll let that one go. Then Taemin! what is this!?” Manger oppa pointed at the TV as he read out loud “Taemin proposes to Rookie singer Krystal. A new cute couple is born?!”

“aigoo news gets out so fast!” Taemin rubbed the back of his neck

“TAEMIN!”

“Hyunggg!” Taemin pouted “you know this will be good publicity for Krystal anyway”

“Yeah Oppa lets just leave it alone for now”

I shut my mouth after receiving a glare from my manager

“Krystal you have a schedule to go on a variety show tomorrow. Don’t forget to answer your phone”

“I got it oppa.”

My manager left the room to do whatever managers were supposed to do

“Krissy I-”

“I have to go change oppa. You can leave or do whatever you want”

Taemin hesitated but nonetheless exited using the same door the manager had

I plopped on the floor in my now damp sweats as I panted heavily

My attention was set on the sudden door that slammed open

“yah you’re so mean! You got a boyfriend and didn’t even tell us” Minwoo pouted

“Yeah! We’re you’re boyfriends too!” Donghyun oppa added

“tch! what a lame joke” I scoffed

“Come with me real quick”

“Youngmin oppa! Whe-where are we going?!”

“Youngmin ah!” Jeongmin oppa called out

“eep” I brushed my shoulders off “yah why throw me against the wall? Why are we in the stairway?”

“I like you since I met you”

“huh?? Youngmin oppa are you okay? Did you hit your head somewhere?”

“No im serious! I’ve fallen in love with you”

“waaaait! Stop before this gets too complicated..uhm I’ll leave” I immediately stumbled towards the door and leaned against the wall, breathing heavily

What is with guys these days?

“Krystal!” A voice called out

“What?!” I snapped

Arms suddenly wrapped around me from my back

“I’ve missed you”

The voice..It’s not him…he can’t possibly be here. Please don’t let it be him

The person spun me around

Air filled my lungs so quickly I could barely speak
