“Are you sure? You guys arent busy?” I asked them once more

“Yeah we only have practice but it’s okay. They’ll let us help you for sure” Jeongmin winked

“I don’t have that much stuff. I could bring my stuff by myself”

I sighed then held my head up by the chin

“You guys are unbelievable. I would have been fine alone”

“we’ll help. Besides we’re not even all here it’s only me, Youngmin hyung, and Kwangmin hyung” Minwoo scoffed

“and you wouldn’t be in this car unless you were with us” Youngmin added

“You guys…I’m home” I muttered softly

“follow behind me guys” I whispered to the three boys

“Lee Krystal where do you think you’re going!?” Eli spat

“Busted!” Youngmin and Kwangmin squealed

“who are they?” Kibum asked walkind from the hallway with the rest of UKISS following behind him

“My friends. Uhm they’re called Boyfriend”

“Oh I know! That new group!” Alexander exclaimed

“yes!” The three boys bowed formally “Nice to meet you we are Boyfriend!”

“Sunbaenim it’s so cool we get to meet you!” Minwoo chimed

“and why are you here with our Kris?” Eli asked raising one of his eyebrows

“I’m moving out. Tonight”

“Kris! I thought you were only saying that! Are you really going to leave all your oppas?!” Alexander asked seriously this time

“Why are you leaving?” Kiseop added

“Soohyun oppa knows. Anyway…I’m going to become a trainee at starship entertainment”

The door suddenly swung open, revealing Kevin

“K-kevin oppa”

Without a word he grabbed my arm and pulled me out the door

“Oppa!”

“Kevin! What are you doing?!” Pulling my arm away from his grasp

“why are you leaving?! I was standing outside and all I could hear was Alexander shouting that you’re leaving!”

“I can’t be a baby forever and stay with you guys!”

“what about us?”

“There is no us. We’re not together” I mumbled the last part

“we were waiting for a better timing! Why do you want to leave us so badly?”

“Stop! Think about what I want too! I don’t want to sit around all day waiting for you guys to come home! I’m not that kind of person!”

“I don’t want you to leave! Once you leave it’s all over for us. We’ll lose contact then wont talk for years. After that we’ll just be strangers. Is that what you want?”

“That’s not what I want. But I can’t have everything go my way or else this wouldn’t be life!”

Kevin threw his arms around me “I don’t care! I don’t want you to leave me! I want to always be by your side!”

“I’m going for something I love! You don’t even want to support me?!” My voice pierced through his heart

I could tell from his pale face that he knew I was right, no matter how much it would hurt

“Kevin…I’m going to miss you so much” I breathed in his familiar scent then hugged him tighter

I was smiling happily even though the cold night breeze blew against us, he was my wall

“Everything will be alright. Trust me”

“I trust you but what am I suppose to do when I miss my girl?” he asked, my hair

“You’ll be so busy you won’t even remember me” I snickered

“oh yeah I probably wont remember you”

“Yah!!” I hissed

“okay okay the others are probably wanting to see you a bit more before you leave”

“yeah…I guess”

“Kris” he said to me, making me turn around

“yeah?”

He gently pressed his warm lips against mine, making me melt from the inside out

“That’s just in case I don’t see you for a while”

“Silly goose” I chuckled, pinching his cheeks

“She’s really leaving?!” Dongho gasped “you’re really letting her leave?!!”

“I’ll miss you guys. I’ll come back and visit when I can”

“Krystal! We’ll wait for you in the car!” Youngmin shouted

I turned back and faced Ukiss “for now..This is goodbye”

I bowed “Thank you for taking care of me all this time. You all mean so much to me it’s going to be really different without you guys around me”

“yeah…it’s going to be weird without you around here too” Eli sighed

“Group hug!!” Alexander wailed

The boys huddled around me then smashed together

I chuckled softly to stop my tears from falling

“bye guys…” I waved

Kevin looked at me with those eyes, that kind of look that would make you want to run into their arms and cry

I couldn’t stand it and looked away

I could hear their shouts and furious arms that waved in the air

“ready to go?” Kwangmin asked me

I shut the black van door behind me then nodded

Silence filled the car

I felt a warm hand gently squeeze mine

Minwoo smiled warmly at me

This is one of the hardest decisions in my life

Leaving loved ones wasn’t easy

I found myself digging my face into Minwoo’s shoulder and cried silently for a moment

I’ve always heard that the road to becoming famous was always hard and lonely

I still have many more challenges to face before I reach my goal

And this was only one of them
