Life's Problems
12 Annoying MastersMy stupid laptop wasn't working.
I refreshed the page a thousand times, but it wouldn't let me through.
I was trying to chat with ahjumma, but the server said it was down.
I sighed and rested my head on the keyboard. The laptop suddenly beeped and the page showed.
Wow. I didn't know what button I pressed, but okay...
I searched my contacts and saw that ahjumma wasn't online yet. Darn.
I was about to shut down the screen when a new message popped up. "MsChiefEditor wants to chat with you," I read out loud.
I shrugged and clicked it.
Her face popped up.
I regretted accepting the webcam.
It was Dan Bora.
Seriously...just when I got rid of Hyosung and started a new life, she has to come back?
"What do you want?" I said icily as I stared at her on the computer screen. She was still in her business clothes: a formal dress shirt and a black pencil skirt. Her hair was a nice auburn color and slighly wavy. Her eyes - the most exotic part about her - was a sparkling caramel brown.
If I didn't hate her so much and never even met her, I would've said she was pretty.
But she had an aboely ugly personality.
"Nice to see you, too Taeyeon," she sneered. I rolled my eyes.
"Still boy-ish as usual," she eyed my outfit. I glanced down. I had changed into a giant white t-shirt after I had gotten home. The blazer was killing me which made me super uncomfortable. I'm more of a casual kind of girl.
"None of your business, Bora," I snapped at her. I did not want to tolerate a today.
It made me feel like a ; for treating Kai that way also.
I know there's a reason. It's probably his parents.
I'm guessing parents were all sensitive topics for the 12 of them.
"Just reminding you that my party is a couple days away."
I sighed and ruffled my bangs. "Look, Bora, I'm - "
"Save it for the party. Where are you right now?" Her head was leaning into the webcam, trying to take a closer look at my background.
I rolled my eyes. "Won't you ever stop being nosy?"
"Hey, I wasn't named Gossip Girl for nothing," Bora examined her nails.
"And you're proud of it?"
"Of course. It got me a social status in high school. And well, you...at least I have a social status. No one even remembers your name."
