Dear Diary,

I think I’m going to call Soohyun oppa. I wonder if he’s awake… anyway, wish me luck! I hope I don’t stutter or anything… Will tell you how the conversation went~

I fiddled with my iPhone, biting my bottom lip nervously. I had already saved his number on my phone, all I needed to do was to click on his name in my contact list.

What if the number was a hoax? I shook my head. Soohyun wouldn’t do something like that… would he?

Was he even awake?

With trembling fingers, I clicked on his name. The dial tone ringed on, never seeming to end. Then, static could be heard and someone picked up.

“Hello?” Soohyun said from the other end.

I melted immediately. It was him! “H-Hi Soohyun oppa, you gave me your number yesterday…”

“Oh! You’re the coughing fan?” He laughed.

“Yeah! Sorry about yesterday…” I giggled and bit down on my tongue.

“It’s ok~ you want to meet up? U-Kiss doesn’t have any schedule today, so I’m totally free.”

“Really? Where?”

“Mmm… let’s meet at the café downtown in 30 minutes time!”

“Arasso~ bye oppa.”

“Bye, see you later!” He hung up.

I’m going to meet oppa! I couldn’t believe it!

I washed my face and combed through my messy hair, pulling it into a rugged side ponytail that hung loosely at the left side of my face. Hurriedly, I changed into a striped T-shirt and shorts. Looking outside my window, I realized that the weather was kind of cold so I put on a pair of long socks that came up to my thighs. Throwing on my jacket and stuffing my feet into my sneakers, I dashed out of the door.

I managed to catch the bus at the bus stop as it was driving away. I calculated my time. I would take me around 45 minutes to get downtown. I frowned. I was already late.

“Soohyun oppa, mianhae, I’m gonna be late ><”  I texted Soohyun.

A few minutes later, he replied, “Ok, I’ll be waiting for you at the café ^_~”

I sighed and plugged in my earphones, preparing myself for the long ride downtown, and for the meeting with Soohyun oppa.
