“I am resigning,” You bit your lip as you slapped the note on L.joe’s table. It was too much for you to handle; now that he was engaged to Yuri you would just be a nuisance. Yuri was always visiting and L.joe would never have the time for you. You couldn’t stay here anymore.

L.joe lifted his head up as he flinched at your tone “What are you saying?”

“I am resigning L.joe,” stone cold face that could hide your feeling, that’s what you wanted to have but you didn’t. 

“You can’t.” L.joe protested as if it was his life you were taking away. “I will cancel the marriage and everything please just don’t leave,” his pleads beckon you but you still were stubborn and wanted to leave.

Sighing you pushed the slip closer to him “I am leaving today.”

“You will still come to the same school though right?” you shook your head. You couldn’t if L.joe was there but also you wouldn’t be able to afford it. “My dad already paid your amount that should cover a whole year, so you have to go.”

“I will go but let’s not talk to each other and pretend we do not know each other.” That was the only way to distance yourself from L.joe as much as you could. You still wanted to be with him, to talk to him, to hold him, to kiss him. Why did bad always happen to you?

Lowering your head you said your goodbye and packed your bags. It wasn’t much, ever since you moved here you moved some of your heavy things back home and into your old room. You definitely miss living here but more than that you would miss L.joe.

Spending a few months with him made you so attached to him. It was as if you guys had made these bond years ago and was unbreakable. However you had to break the bond; he is someone else’s not yours. The best thing is to forget and move on. But moving just ‘move and leave,’ won’t actually make you forget him; it’s not easy.

You raked your long fingers through your hair as you exhaled a breath. ‘it’s not easy to forget someone you love so much, but  I will forget him for his happiness.’

All you had to do was pack your clothes and leave. “Maybe we are just not meant to be.”

‘I hope you live happily.’

L.joe rushed into your room and growled as he saw your room alread
