Minho’s POV

 

“C’mon Yuri-ah! We don’t have all day!” I screamed as I came down the stairs.

“Ne!” was all I heard and suddenly she was standing right beside me. “Let’s go!”

I smirked at how childish she can be.

It’s the weekend and as promised, I’m going to give Yuri a makeover.

 

~At the Mall

 

As I stepped inside the mall something hit me.

Yuri’s invisible to everyone and I have no choice but to go into the girls store cause she’s wearing a hanbok.

 

I took a deep breath and took a look at the genie at my side.

She seems so…happy.

 

“Here we are. You’re first shop. We’ll buy you your clothes here.” I spoke to her through our minds.

She has confused look on her face “What's wrong with my clothes?”

I ignored her question and picked out a couple of clothes for her to try on.

Then I noticed a bunch of staff members we’re staring at me as weirdly.  I gulped before entering the changing room.

 

“Just pop the clothes on. I’ll close my eyes.” I awkwardly smiled.

I turned around and in a second.

“I’m done!” she smiled cutely and began posing.

 

 

 

 

 

I didn’t know Yuri was in such good shape until she tried out normal clothes.

I mean, MAN! She looks like a super model. She wear those clothes better than the mannequins!  

 

 

After an hour of trying on different clothes we finally picked our choices.

I must say, she looks a lot like a real human now… a beautiful human being.

I smiled to myself before paying.

“For you or your girlfriend?” the cashier eyed me.

WHAT?! Does she think I’m gay?

I cleared my throat and just smiled.

 

“Master Minho, you are very kind.” She smiled at me before pinching my cheeks.

That’s a pretty weird gesture

“Yeah, when everyone can see you, don’t do that.” I messed her hair up.

 

“I guess that’s the only clothes you’ll need for now.”

My eyes widened. “You do know what undergarments look like, right?”

I gulped then Yuri suddenly slapped the back of my head.

“OFCOURSE! That’s part of good hygiene.  Don’t worry. You don’t need to buy me those.” She giggled.

“Pajamas, Shoes, Casual Clothes. I think we’re good to go.”

 

Yuri’s POV

 

“Now… How about you try on one of the casual clothes and shoes we bought then you can make my first wish come true.”

I gulped. I cannot say anything about the consequences of that wish to Master Minho as it is nothing that should concern him… but it does concern me.

 

I got changed then Master Minho dragged me to some corner away from everyone.

“I wish everyone can see you.” He spoke softly.

I closed my eyes “Your wish is my command!” I snapped my fingers and there I was, visible for everyone to see.

 

 It felt weird. Really, weird.

“Great! Now, we can get you to a hair salon!” he smiled before dragging me to another part of what he calls “THE MALL!”

 

Everyone was staring at me. I wasn’t used to this.

They we’re looking at me from up to down, analyzing me.

It felt really weird. I feel like they could see right through me, like they know something.

Then at the corner of my eye a familiar looking guy smirked and soon he disappeared in the crowd.

 

“Anneyeonghaseyo!” a woman greeted Master Minho and I.

“Anneyong Auntie!” Minho and the woman hugged.

“And who might this beautiful young lady be, your girlfriend?” she looked at me.

Girlfriend?

Girl, I’m a girl.

Friend, Master Minho is nice to me and I’m nice to him so I am his friend.

“NE!” I smiled.

Minho looked shocked.

 

Minho’s POV

 

Did she just say she was my girlfriend?!

This girl! Aish!

“Anyways Auntie, Can you do something with her hair, something that would look good?” I asked.

“Don’t I always?” auntie laughed before leading Yuri into the salon where men are not allowed.

I sat at the waiting room. It’s been about an hour now when Auntie came out.

“She’s ready!” she smiled.

 

 

Soon Yuri stepped out.

She looked gorgeous!

 

~The next day~

 

Yuri’s POV

 

“Today I’m going to teach you how to be normal.” Minho asked me to stand up.

“Now, when my friends say ‘Hi’ to you, what will you say?” he asked.

“Anneyeonghaseyo. Master Minho’s genie, Yuri imida!” I answered.

 

Master Minho faced palmed himself.

 

“No, no. You never reveal your identity, remember? And don’t call me master in front of my friends or ever. From now on, just call me Minho. Arraso?”

I nodded.

 

“Before we continue, I have another wish.” Minho spoke.

I got ready to grant it.

“I wish that you have a normal person’s background information.” He smiled.

“Your wish is my command!” A folder appeared on the center table.

“Great! Now we can fill up the sign up form for the audition!”

Minho quickly grabbed a pen, the sign up form and opened the folder.

Minho copied down some information from the folder.

 

Name: Kwon Yuri

Age: 19

Date of Birth: December 5 1989

Nationality: Korean

…And so on….

 

“What’s do I do in the audition?” I suddenly asked.

“It’s showing off your talent to impress a couple of people so that they will accept you in SM Academy. Or else, you’ll have to be away from me every day and not grant my wishes.” He explained as he filled up the last question on the paper.

“Ohhh….” I answered. “But what’s my talent?”

Minho hesitated for a while.

“Can you sing?” he asked.

“Sing?”

 

 Next thing I know he took this small gadget he calls a mobile and a noise started.

“What’s that sound coming from that gadget?” I pointed at the thing he was holding.

“This is a cellphone.  The sound is called music. Now I want you to copy what the girl is singing. Arasso?”

I nodded and listened to the song for a while.

It was actually nice, the music and the instruments all blending in. It was catchy.

Yuri began to sing U-Go-Girl by Lee HyoRi and began dancing to it too.

 

Minho’s POV

 

At first Yuri was hesitant to sing and dance but then I started singing the first part.

“It’s the princess KWON YU-RI, she’s back 2012!” I joke which made her laugh.

Soon she began singing and dancing to the music. It was entertaining.

I was pretty shocked ‘cause she was so good.

I couldn’t help but blush a little; I mean she’s a girl, a beautiful girl.

The song ended “Keep that up and you’ll definitely get in!”

I raised my hands up for a high five but she just stared at it.

“You’re supposed to slap my hands.” I grabbed her hands and taught her how to high five.

 

~That afternoon.

 

“What are we doing here Minho?” she asked as we walked in a photo-shoot session.

“The SM CEO would want pictures of you so you’re about to experience your first photo shoot!” I explained.

A bunch of stylist came rushing to Yuri, as they try to prepare her for the photo shoot.

“Just be normal! And act cute!” I gave her words of encouragement before they began taking pictures.

“Ne… Minho-yah. I’m…I’m nervous.” she suddenly confessed.

I smiled, “Don’t be, it’ll be watching the whole time.”

 

 

~The next day.

 

“MINHO! MINHO! WAKE UP!”

“Don’t you ever sleep?” I asked as I rubbed my eyes.

“NOPE!” she said excitedly.

I smiled. How can she be so cute and innocent at the same time?

“We’re going to be late for the audition, c’mon!!!!!” she started jumping on my bed like a little kid.

“Aigoo, it’s going to be a LONG day!”

 

~At the SM audition.

 

 

 

“There’s so many people.” Yuri suddenly held on to my shirt.

I know how she felt. My heart was about to explode when they called my name during my audition.

“257, you’re up!” a staff membered announced.

Yuri was next and I can tell that she was really scared.

“Don’t worry… It’ll be alright.” I assured her “Just be yourself, well not your genie self.” I tried to make her laugh but nothing. She usually always smiles.

“Don’t forget to smile!” I reminded her before she entered the audition room.

 

She nodded and soon she was gone. I sat back down and began playing with my phone when…

“Minho yah! What are you doing here? Auditioning again?” Jonghyun joked.

I stood up, “I told you my family friend is auditioning today, remember?”

“Ohhh…” Jonghyun then sat down and waited with me.

“I heard that the SM board is going to form a new girl group soon. When do you think we’ll debut?” he suddenly asked.

“Soon. I hope.” I bit lip.

 

“MINHO! MINHO!” Yuri came rushing in and threw herself to me for a big hug!

I could see Jong’s shocked expression, but I guess I’m more shocked.

“I’m in!” she screamed in my ear.

“CONGRATULATIONS!” I smiled brightly.

 

Jonghyun’s POV

 

A girl came rushing to Minho and started hugging him.

“I’m in!” she screamed. “CONGRATULATIONS!” Minho said excitedly.

I cleared my throat.

“Oh, Yuri, this is Jonghyun. My group member.” Minho introduced me.

The moment Yuri turned around my heart stopped.

So she’s the new girl everyone has been talking about.

The rumors were true. She was beautiful and wow, she has killer curves.

“Oh, Anneyeong Jonghyun-shi!” she smiled at me.

I froze for a while.

 

Yuri’s POV

 

I’ve noticed that many people have been staring at me since I came inside the academy but I was too worried to care at that time.

But now, even Minho’s friend is staring at me. Is there something wrong with me?

“Why is he just standing there Minho, did I freak him out?” I asked Minho who just chuckled and nudged Jonghyun.

“Oh.. Anneyeong. Nice to meet you Yuri.” He spoke in a shaky voice.

 

“So tell me, everything they said!” Minho suddenly asked.

“They said I was perfect and they we’re going to join me into a girl group that’s going to debut soon as soon as possible!” I said happily.

“Already?” Minho asked then looked at Jonghyun.

“WOW! You must be amazing then ‘cause it takes a trainee years before they can debut.” Jonghyun stared at me yet again.

“Miss Kwon. If you may, please follow me. The CEO of SM wants you to meet your group members.” A staff announced.

I stared at Minho.

“Come with me!” I yelled to him in my mind.

“Don’t scream, you’re going to give me a headache” he replied back.

“Anyways Jong, I gotta accompany her. I’ll see you later at the rehearsals!” Minho waved him goodbye before leaving.

 

Minho’s POV

 

As we began walking through the corridors I can see people whispering to each other and are staring at Yuri and I.

It was weird but I guess I have to go with it.

Suddenly a guy just jumped right in front of Yuri.

“You’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Go out with me, please?” a random trainee confessed.

I watched Yuri’s horrified look and couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Ani, mianhe.” She spoke straight forward yet in a friendly way, like a kid talking to a stranger.

“Sorry dude.” I patted his shoulder.

 

“Saranghae neol i neukkim idaero geuryeowattteon hemae-imui kkeut
I sesang sogeseo banbokttoeneun seulpeum ijen annyeong”

 

You can hear a bunch of girls singing from the hallways then we stopped.

Girls’ Generation was written on the wall.

“Mianhe for disturbing you girls but I’d like you to meet your new member.” The staff invited Yuri to enter the room.

“Anneyeonghaseyo, Yuri imida!” she introduced herself in a brightly yet bold manner.

I took a peak at the girls expression and they all looked shocked.

 

 

I mean if SM introduces a new member in our SHINee group at the last minute I would freak out as well.

“I’d leave you girls alone.” And with that the staff left.

There was an awkward silence.

Something tells me this whole group bonding thing isn’t going to be easy.
