Minho’s POV

 

“She’s going to notice umma, it’s not going to work!” I groaned.

“Ani, it will work! Trust me! Now just stick to the plan.”

“Arasso.” I took a deep breath before knocking on Yuri’s door.

 

“Ne, Minho?” she smiled.

“Well ummm… I was wondering, would you like to go out with me?” I tried to put my words together.

“Sure! Where are we going?”

Aigoo… I don’t think she gets what I’m doing.

“I… umm… wherever you want to go.” I smiled.

“Chincha? Can we go grocery?”

I faced palmed myself “Grocery?”

“Ne… I want to buy something.” She smiled innocently.

“Fine. I’ll be waiting downstairs.” I walked downstairs and stared at my parents with a blank face.

They smiled and I shook my head.

They too pouted.

“C’mon Minho, let’s go to the grocery.” Yuri grabbed my arm.

Appa winked and I could tell that Umma was trying to held her laughter.

“Gaja.” I sighed.

 

We got into the car.

“Minho, you’re passing by all the nearby groceries. Where are we going?” Yuri looked worried.

“To my favourite grocery place, thingy.” Really Minho… really?

 

Soon we arrived.

“I don’t see any grocery stores around here.” She looked around as soon as we got out.

It was already noon and the sun is about to set.

“Oh, I must have taken the wrong turn.”

“Chincha, let’s go back then.”

“Ani, my legs are getting cramps!” I tried to stop her.

She bit her bottom lip “Alright, then I guess we’ll have to say here for a while.”

I nodded.

We sat down on the hood of my car.

 

 

“WOW!” Yuri smiled.

“Yeah…” I gasped while looking at her.

“Yuri, I want to tell you something.” I could already feel my cheeks heating up.

“What is it?” she stared at me.

 

~Flashback~

 

“Come here baby boy.” Umma signaled me to sit next to her.

It’s been an hour since I’ve accidentally hurt Yuri’s feelings.

She still hasn’t come out of her room.

 

“Ne Umma.”

“You really like Yuri don’t you?” she smiled.

I nodded.

“I’m sure about how I feel about her now. I guess I’ve always had something for her.” I started off.

“From the time when she snuck into my house and tied me to my bed, when we went shopping, when she’s the only girl I see even though there are 9 of them on stage during their debut.” I smiled.

“And how I feel jealous whenever I see her with Nichkhun and how my heart would skip whenever I see hug her, talk to her or even just see her.” I could feel my heartbeat beating fast just at the thought.

“She’s the only person who can make me feel like this even though Krystal casted a spell on me. And she’s the reason why I have the courage to face appa again and look for him.” I stared at umma.

“Omo. Umma, don’t cry!” I wiped her tears.

“I’m sorry Minho yah… It’s just… I know that she’s the one for you.” Umma started to sniff.

I smiled “Yeah… she is.”

“Why aren’t you doing anything about it?”

“I don’t know… I’m scared.” I confessed.

“You shouldn’t be. It’s better to tell her how you feel now than regretting it later when she’s with Nichkhun.” Umma touched my face.

She was right.

 

~End of flashback~

 

“I…umm… I asked you to go out with me but not to just go OUT.”

“What other out is there?” she frowned.

“No, I mean…” I took a deep breath.

“I really like you Yuri.” I gently grabbed her hands.

Her eyes widened. “I like you too.”

“Yeah but I like you as more than just a friend or a sister or a genie.” We both stared at each other’s eyes.

I saw tears coming down her eyes. “Did I say anything wrong? Mianhe.” I apologized as I wiped her tears.

Now my hands were on her cheeks.

She shook her head. “Ani… I actually think that I like you two.” She smiled.

“You think?”

“Ne.” she was blushing.

“Well I know a way to prove whether you really like me or not.” I grinned.

“Chincha, how?”

 

I was caught in the moment.

My hands were still on her cheeks and I noticed that we were standing inches away from each other.

Her eyes were sparkling, she was so beautiful.

“Like this.” I whispered with my lips only mm away from hers.

And it wasn’t long until our lips collided.

Something was taking over my body, it was tingly.

My heart is exploding. I just want to stay like this forever.

I could feel her hands slowly wrapping around my waist.

Everything in this moment felt right.

 

We eventually had to pull away to get breath but we kept our foreheads together.

I couldn’t stop smiling and she was too.

“Did you feel it?” I asked.

“There’s no way I could describe what I just felt but yes… I did.” She giggled.

I couldn’t help it but kiss her again.

I wanted her all to myself. We pulled away again.

“Kwon Yuri… Will you be mine?” I whispered.

“I’ve always been yours Choi Minho.”

I pulled her for a hug and we stayed like that for a very long time.

The sun was setting on the background.

 

I wish I could tell her everything that's in my heart and how much I love her.

But then that would take forever... So I would show my love for her each day.

I would make her feel special because she deserves it!

She means the world to me. I hope someday, she'll know just how much she means to me.

 

Taehee’s POV

 

“Cake?”

“CHECK!”

“BALLOONS?”

“CHECKS!”

“GUESTS?”

“THEY’LL BE ARRIVING SOON!”

“FOOD?”

“CHECK!”

“MUSIC?”

“CHECK… Now honey, can you please calm down.” Minwoo hugged me from behind.

“Aigo. I just want everything to be perfect.” I pouted.

“Don’t worry!” He kissed my forehead.

 

~DING DONG~

 

 We opened the door and a lot of people bowed 90 degrees.

“Anneyeonghaseyo, So Nyuh Shi Dae imida!” 8 girls bowed.

“Anneyeonghaseyo, SHINee imida!” I recognized these 4 boys, aigo, they grew up really fast.

“Anneyeonghaseyo, Super Junior imida!” 10 people bowed. WOW. They’re a lot!

“Anneyeong. Come on in!” I made way for them to go in.

 

“WOW! I’m actually meeting hallyu idols!” Minwoo gasped.

I smacked the back of his head “Your son and Yuri are idols too.”

“Yeah, but that’s different!” he meronged.

 

Minho,

Umma! We’re almost home! Is everything ready?

 

Umma,

Ne! Don’t worry.

 

Soon I can see Minho’s car in the drive way.

“EVERYONE, THEY’RE HERE! HIDE!” I screamed before switching off the lights.

 

No one’s POV

 

“Why are all the lights off? Where did umma and appa go?” Yuri asked as we got out of the car.

“Molla.” Minho smiled, trying to control himself to not give anything away.

He looked at his mobile. Dec 4, 12:00am.

“Just in time!” Minho thought.

Minho opened the door.

Suddenly the lights went on and confetti was everywhere.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY YURI!” Everyone in the house screamed.

Yuri was shocked at first but then she started crying tears of joy.

“OMONA! Gamsamhamnida! SARANGHAEYO!” she bowed at them.

 

Minho stared at Yuri’s face, and he too smiled.

“C’mon!” Taehee and Minho sneaked to the kitchen.

Taehee lit the candle that’s shaped as the number ‘1’ on top of a huge cake.

Minwoo dimmed the lights while Minho came out of the kitchen.

They made way for him to pass as they sang.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR YUUUUURIIIIII! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOOOUU!” The sang and clapped together.

Yuri covered in shock.

“Happy FIRST Birthday baby Yul!” Minho smiled at Yuri.

Yuri’s heart was beating triple times. “Now it’s YOUR turn to make your wish!” Minho winked.

Yuri closed her eyes, there was a moment of silence then she blew the candle out.

Everyone cheered and soon music started playing.

 

Taehee and Minwoo went around; making sure everyone was having a good time.

No one’s POV

 

Meanwhile Yuri and Minho were in the backyard, which was overlooking the beach.

Minho laid a huge blanket on the sand and they both lay down.

They stared at the stars.

“Today was just perfect!” Yuri sighed out before facing her head to Minho.

“Gomawo.” She smiled. Minho could feel his heart beating hard.

“It’s no problem Yul… You’ve done so much for me… I’m glad you’re mine now.” Minho and Yuri held hands together.

“Do you have any idea how long I’ve waited for this moment?” Minho chuckled.

Yuri stared at him again. “Do you have any idea how LONG I’ve waited to experience something like this?” Minho stared back.

 “I WIN!” Yuri laughed.

 

Yuri’s POV

 

Everything is so amazing!

And now I’m here, dancing with the man who gave me my very first kiss.

I’m going to remember this moment forever!

 

“You lift my feet off the ground. Spin me around.

You make me crazier, crazier.

Feels like I’ve fallen and I… I’m lost in your eyes.

You make me crazier, crazier.” Minho whispered the words of the song to my ear.

 

I like this warm feeling inside.

“Baby you showed me what living is for… I don’t want to hide anymore.” I hummed to the song as Minho whispered the lyrics.

We were so close to each other.

 

“So this is what liking and be liked by someone feels like…” I talked to myself.

“Wae, how does it feel?”

“Amazing!” I gasped.

Minho smiled and kissed my forehead before spinning me around as the song ended.

 

Nichkhun’s POV

 

“It’s So Nyuh Shi Dae’s, Yuri’s birthday today!” Taecyeon announced as he looked at his phone.

“Yoona just texted me.” He blushed.

I rolled my eyes.

 

I should stop by and greet her!

 

~At Minho’s House~

 

I rang the doorbell and surprisingly Jessica was the one who opened it.

“Sica, what are you doing here?” I asked.

“What are YOU doing here?” she hissed before dragging me away from the crowd.

We were now in one of Minho’s guest room.

 

“Look, I know Krystal put you up to this!” She started.

“Bwoh? Ani, I just want to greet Yuri happy birthday peacefully.” I confessed.

She eyed me “Fine, but I know you and Krystal are planning something. Nichkhun, don’t do it.”

“I have to Sica… she can give me the potion quicker than you can. And you know how much I need it.”

“If you come home with me I can give it to you right away!” she seems really desperate.

“You really changed huh…” I smiled and so did she.

It’s good to see a bad person go good.

 

~At Jessica’s House~

 

We both sneaked out of Yuri’s birthday.

I didn’t get the chance to greet her though… But what I’m about to do is far more important.

“Here it is…” Jessica showed me a small bottle, a size of my pinky finger.

It had something yellow that was glowing.

 

“Are you sure about this Nichkhun?” Jessica asked with a worried look on her face.

“100%” I nodded.

“Do you think you can actually do it… after all, they’re still your family.”

“Trust me…”

 

Jessica knew it all.

She knows that I’m the son of a dark angel.

I hate being a part of their family!

They’ve been hurting way too many innocent people just to gain more power.

I can’t take it no more.

And now they’re even targeting Yuri.

Now I’m more than a 100% sure!

 

This potion is the only potion compatible for the necklace.

 

“Thank you Jessica. You have no idea how much this would help me!” I bowed at her.

“Don’t sweat it! But you do know what you have to do.” She glared at me.

“Arasso. I won’t help Krystal out and I will tell you every single move she plans. I got it!” I rolled my eyes.

“GOOD BOY!” Jessica praised.

 

Minho’s POV

 

I tucked Yuri in bed. It’s already 4 in the morning.

I walked downstairs.

All the So Nyuh Shi Dae members were already gone.

Now it’s just some Super Junior and SHINee members that passed out on the floor and on the couch downstairs.

 

Umma and appa are probably asleep to.

I can’t thank them enough for supporting me and encouraging me to tell Yuri My true feelings.

I started cleaning up but then out of nowhere TOP appeared.

“Why do you keep doing that?” I hissed.

“It’s fun.” He spoke with absolutely no emotions.

 

I shook my head.

“Why are you here?” I asked as we walked out to the backyard.

“I need to talk to you.”

“About?”

“Yuri.”

“What about her?” I suddenly got curious.

 

“Nichkhun and I are ready for whatever there is to come. Are you?”

“What are you talking about?” I asked.

He sighed and shook his head.

Then he stared at me.

 

“The once who took Yuri at Jeju Island before… they’re still after her.”

I raised an eyebrow. How did he know about that?

I know that Nichkhun and TOP are mystical creatures too… I just never bothered asking before.

But now I’m more than curious.

“Jakkaman. Why do you even care? Who are you?” I asked.

“I’m Sandor…”

“Sandor?”

“Ne, I’m a warrior. I protect and defend mankind.”

“But Yuri’s not human.” I pointed out.

He kept quiet for a while.

“Is she? She can’t be. She has powers… she’s a genie!”

“There’s more to that…” He held his hands out. “I can show it to you.”

I felt unsure.

“Go ahead. I won’t bite.” I wasn’t sure if he was joking or not because he kept a straight face.

 

I held his hands. I felt a sudden rush of wind.

I closed my eyes then opened it.

“Where are we?” I asked as I tried to get my vision back together.

“Jeju Island.”

I looked around.

I saw a familiar house “I’ve been here before.”

“Chincha…” he asked staring at the house.

“Come on…” he led me to go near him.

To my surprise, we were invisible. And we could pass through things… Just like ghosts.

 

“Why did you bring me here?”

“You’ll see…”

I waited. I could hear a baby crying.

Then a beautiful woman came to the living room where TOP and I were standing.

She was carrying a baby.

“Sshh… my little angel.” She smiled at her baby.

Then a man came in… “It’s time.”

I remember that voice! But I just can’t seem to remember where.

The woman suddenly looked horrified then nodded.

She kissed the baby’s forehead before leaving her on the crib.

The man glanced at the baby before leaving the house with the woman.

 

Suddenly a chubby kid came rushing to the kid.

“What’s the fat kid doing?” I asked TOP.

I got a glare in return “That’s me.”

“BWOH!” I gasped.

“Where are you taking the baby?” I asked.

“Somewhere safe… But right now… come here.” He led me to the window.

We looked out to see what was happening.

 

“What are you doing?” The woman asked.

Suddenly the man had a huge white wings attached on his back.

“WHOA! HE’S AN ANGEL!” I was surprised.

“Ne…”

Suddenly the angel kept approaching the woman and with just a snap of the finger the woman screamed before disappearing.

TOP looked down.

I kept watching the scene to see the angel’s wings turn black.

“OMO. His a dark angel!”

“Ne…” TOP looked at the chubby kid carrying the baby.

Against my will, I was being dragged to wherever the chubby version of Top is going.

We stopped by the woods.

“Shh… Don’t cry little Yuri… everything will be fine.” The chubby fat hushed the baby.

My eyes widened. “THAT WAS YURI!”

TOP simply just nodded.

 

The chubby kid looked around before putting his hands on baby Yuri’s chest.

Suddenly, something kept glowing in her chest.

Soon the chubby TOP removed his hands.

The baby suddenly kept quiet.

 

“You’ll be safe now. Mianhe but this is the only way.” The chubby kid hugged the baby tightly before it began floating in the air then disappearing.
