The Last DreamChapter 2:- The Last Dream:
My mother sighed, hands folded in her lap.
My father was pretending to be reading newspaper.
My younger sister, 10, was reading a book.
My younger brother, 15, was staring at nowhere.
The silence in the kitchen-area was heavy and uncomfortable.
It felt like the atmosphere could crush anyone, who spoke first.
Or moved.
Then -
"...I want to go..."
