Howon tells himself that the only reason he takes Sunggyu home together with Woohyun is because he believes Woohyun can't carry Sunggyu by himself, but deep down inside, he knows that he just can't trust a drunk and heart broken Sunggyu and he knows Woohyun wouldn't able to reject Sunggyu if anything happens, and Howon just can't risk that. Despite telling himself repeatedly he will let Woohyun go and not be so protective, he just cannot deny his own feelings for this precious man. He isn't about to send Woohyun into Sunggyu's arms just because Sungyeol has decided to move on or the fact that Sunggyu desperately needs comfort now. If Sunggyu needs comfort, he will get it, but with Howon there, making sure that Woohyun is safe. Woohyun is slightly relieved when Howon offered to help because Sunggyu is currently clinging onto him like a koala and whining like a lost puppy. Woohyun is in even more pain than Sunggyu because having to see the person you love lose themselves because of someone else is more cruel than seeing them lose themselves for you. Woohyun wishes he could take the pain away from Sunggyu, because Sunggyu doesn't deserve this, he doesn't deserve all this pain while Woohyun on the other hand is used to being in pain, so why not just add onto it? Before Woohyun can stop himself, his tears drop onto Sunggyu's face silently and he clutches Sunggyu closer to his chest. Sunggyu wipes away the foreign substance on his face, but snuggles even closer into Woohyun's embrace. Howon sees everything from the front rearview mirror and clenches the steering wheel in his hand. He can feel his heart shatter at the sight but he tells himself to ignore it. What's the point if you're hurting silently and nobody knows ? What's the point of loving someone who will never love you back? Howon believes in fate, and if this is the path that fate has planned for him and if he was never meant to be with Woohyun, what more can he do? -------------- A/n: not proofread.
