You caught up with the rest of the guys after speed walking after them, and Kris remained beside you as everyone followed the Scribe into his home. “Guess who’s back?” Suho shouted as he entered through the white doorway of a rather spacious white house. Like the rest of the city, the walls were white, which contrasted in tandem with the earthy tan marble flooring. However, unlike the uniform city of white buildings you had seen walking there, the inside contained a variety of colorful rugs laying across the floor, and you could already see an area decorated with cushions and tapestries. 

"By the Maker Spirit, is that Suho I hear?" a female voice from across the room. You turned you eyes to see a woman adorned in an airy light brown dress walk in your direction. "Mother!" Suho exclaimed ecstatically, running towards her before pulling her into a tight embrace, "It's so good to see you again!" Baekhyun gasped. He, along with the rest of you, was completely shocked at the revelation of the woman's identity. Well, everyone except Kris, who smiled brightly at this mother-son moment. Perceiving from her posture and walk that she was well in her years, you could not help but marvel at her appearance. Her face was almost completely void of wrinkles. The only ones that did exist resided softly by her eyes and mouth.

"You are beautiful," you said accidentally. It was only until she locked eyes with you that you that you realized you had spoken your thoughts aloud. She grinned, moving away from Suho's arms, and walked quickly towards you, grasping your hands in hers. "Why thank you my dear! But oh my goodness, your face is simply breath taking! Who are you?" she asked as she examined your features happily. "I'm Kora of the tribe of Iren, Suho's friend," you greeted. "She is also the Inheritor of Alargon!" Suho chipped in. Her eyes widened. "You are?" she asked, quiet shocked. You nodded your head, shrugging slightly. "My my, that's quite incredible," she answered before turning her gaze towards the rest of the group, "And I assume you are all Inheritors of the ancient Guardians as well?" "That is correct ma'am," Kai said with a nod.

"How are you not shocked by this news?" Luhan questioned, "Most people would need time grasping the concept." Suho's mother giggled quietly, covering with her hands before calming down and answering, "Oh, I have been aware of the concept of Inheritors for a long time. Suho writes us letters all the time. He was ecstatic when his ability was activated. It was a rather extensive letter too. Would you like me to get it? I can show it to you-" "Maybe you should show it to them another time," Kris interrupted.

"Oh! Kris is here!" She said, moving over to him and cupping his face in her hands, "My how you've grown! Did you get taller?" "He's the same size he was when you last saw him Mom," Suho said with a the roll of his eyes. "Oh hush you," his Mother replied. Kris laughed deeply, "I think Suho's right." She scanned his face before shrugging her shoulders. "I still think you have gotten taller. Oh, do you have a girlfriend yet?" She asked with sparkle in her eyes. Kris shifted uncomfortably while Suho laughed at the situation. You couldn't help but giggle as well. Kris looked very out of place in that m
