I woke up from the cold ground still basement, I think my step dad already left to work by now. The house seemed very quiet. I got up feeling my legs shake, I didn't eat at all since yesterday, and my hands were freezing and clammy. I needed food badly. I walked up to the basement door and turned the knob,hoping it was unlocked,

wow..... It was actually open for me..

I made it inside the house and walked to the kitchen to get something to eat.
As I walked to the kitchen, I walked past a mirror that was hung onto the wall in the hallway.
A sudden glimpse of something caught my eye. I walked back to the mirror and found the bruise from
the time my step dad pushed me down to the floor.  I touched the mirror with the palm of my hands and cried, knowing
that terrible, ugly monster on the other side was me. 

I looked so pale and tired, my face just keeps getting thinner and thinner and not in the good and healthy way.
Dark circles captivated my bags and my eyes were so blood shot red...

I forgot about hunger instantly, I forgot about my weak body,
All I could think of was sympathy to myself and how humiliating I am.

"Damn that man..... Damn everything..... Why did I let all this happen to me?"
I whispered.

Kai's P.O.V:

"Oppa!" My little sister smiled and held my hand, "Yes?" I asked sweetly and began rocking our arms 
back and forth. "Oppa, how would you feel of having another sister?" She asked and gave
me her eye smile. " Another sister? Uh..... But then won't you be jealous?"

"Ani! I want an older sister! One your age too so you both can take care of me!"

I chuckled and ruffled her hair,
"Hmm...Don't you think it's a little too late to think of those kind of things?" I asked questionably.
Cho Hee blinked uncontorablly and gave me a puzzled look.
"Does Oppa not want another sister?"

"It's not that I don't want one, it's just.... I had Yoona and now you.... Another sister sounds troublesome."

"How about a girlfriend Oppa?"

I paused and loosened my tight collar, "G-Girlfriend?"

"Oppa seriousy, you need one. Oppa is so handsome but you dress and look so plain at school."
I gave her a small noogie and laughed, "Aiggo! When did Cho Hee become so cold!?"
I pinched her on the cheeks and she gave me that two missing front teeth grin,

"I just..... Don't want one. I have school to worry about....And make sure I'll get into college and have the money."

"Hmph.... No wonder you never bring a girl home, you're so boring...."

"Aishhh Cho Hee! So mean!"

"Just kidding Oppa! But if you want to date a girl when you feel lonely, I'll hook you up with the nice Unnie!"

"I-I'll try to remember that....."

"Kaja Oppa!"

Nice Unnie? She means the stranger from yesterday?
Hmmm.... I wonder who was that person in the first place?
 

Cho Hee and I almost arrived to the school, but all of a sudden,Cho Hee stopped in front of me. She froze, as if something in front of her caused her to stop. "Yah Cho Hee! Why'd you stop? We're almost at your school!" Cho Hee's face beamed, she ran ahead without me and yelled,

"UNNIE!!!!! UNNIE!!!!! It's me Cho Hee!"

I looked up, anger took in, my fist clenched as soon as I found that __________ girl in front of me, smiling at my Cho Hee.
