As expected, I arrived half an hour before him. I've waited for only half an hour but somehow it was just so agonizing while waiting for the time to pass. Minhyuk walked towards me in his normal chic guy strides. I felt a little relieved seeing him 'normal'. 

"Hey." I said while he sat down on the swing beside me. He just nodded in acknowledgement. 

Things were always awkward with us ever since... since... well yea. never been normal between us anyway.

"No it's okay! I was out anyway." I tried to hide my own exaggerated expression. 

"Sungjae?" He asked, somehow his voice sounded dejected. I just nodded and swung my swing awkwardly. 

"So he must have told you..." He said again, this time looking at me. Blood rose to my cheeks and I lowered my head bashfully. What is it that you want to tell me? 

Then again, I only nodded. He sighed and looked up at the orange sky. A light breeze blew past and I watched the fallen leaves flew past his perfect side profile. I couldn't help thinking that he was painted into this beautiful picture. He swallowed still glancing up at the sky, that attractive side profile ever so perfect. I looked away immediately, shy. My face was almost burning by now. 

"I'm just afraid." He said, voice almost a whisper. 

My heart skipped a beat as I turned to find him looking right at me. His expression soft and gentle, he gaze locked on me as he stood up slowly making his way towards and infront of me. The few short steps he took felt like an eternity. I wanted so much to advert his gaze, but I could see nothing but warmth now.
