Sungmin had to cope with these rumors for a while, and after a few weeks, the rumors did die down. 

Most of her classmates didn't really believe that kind of nonsense because as far as they know, Sungmin may be quiet and cold at times, not talking to anyone but Kyuhyun and his friends, but she isn't the kind of person that the rumors suggest. They don't know her well, but being her classmate, they've never considered her to be someone who'd do those things. As cold as she may seem, she still looks more like an innocent little bunny than a vicious snake. She looks too nice and innocent to do such things and they trust Kyuhyun, they know that he's smart enough to avoid Sungmin, if she really was a snake.

Sungmin was feeling a lot better since she rarely hears horrible words pointed at ehr anymore and she's definitely safe from them when she was inside their classroom. but then, there is one place in school where she can't help but feel worse. Inside the girls' comfort room, she would only hear hurtful words directed at her. They were horrible, but she couldn't fight with them. Everytime she hears them, she just waits for them to leave the CR or ignores them and leave as quickly as possible, hopefully not getting noticed.

It was hard for her, but at least, she knew she was safe in their classroom, or at least they wouldn't talk about it if she's around. She knows that there would be back-stabbers but she didn't care, as long as she could rest from horrible words and threatening glares.

She was happy now, well, not entirely happy but she was satisfied. But, she couldn't help but miss the three guys she'd just made friends with recently. For only a short time, they got close and she can't help but miss them, miss actually having friends even though she knows that the only reason why she can't talk to them is because they don't want to make things worse for her.

It was nice to know someone had your back. But it's horrible not having them beside you anymore. She couldn't make any new friends after that. It was hard enough to get through a day with everyone talking sick about you and not having anyone beside you.

She would always be depressed until one day, when she got to school, there was a note on her desk. It’s from her friends.

“We’re sorry we couldn’t approach you recently and we hope you understand that we’re only distancing ourselves from you for your own good. It hurts us too, seeing you sad, so please cheer up =) Just keep smiling and keep holding on, you’ll get through this and afterwards, everything will go back to how it was, we could hang out together again.”

After reading the note, she was smiling, ofcourse she was. And noticing that there are only a few classmates around, other than her, Kyuhyun, Yesung and Eunhyuk, she smiled her natural smile, she looked at them with happy and grateful eyes.

She still didn’t’ have the guts to talk to them, but she knew and they knew that that moment was enough. They weren’t talking, but they were all happy.

There were a few eyes that caught sight of them, smiling at each other. When they saw Sungmin, smiling, they couldn’t help but stare, and thought to themselves “How could we doubt someone like that? How could we think an innocent girl would commit horrible deeds as the rumors suggested?” Everyone was filled with regret. The next day, some of them left notes to Sungmin too, “Sorry for doubting you, We didn’t know you but we believed rumors so easily. We’re sorry”

Sungmin was happy again, really happy, but she knew that the bad days aren’t over yet, those are just her classmates, and not even all of them. She wasn’t safe, not yet.
