"Better?" At first I thought that this screaming was in my dream, but when you get hit with a pillow in your dream, you don't feel it. I started waking up, realizing that I was in Suyeon's bed and that the scream was indeed real. It was coming from Lucy and directed at me. "Go look in your room and tell me how that's supposed to be better!" Lucy screamed at me before storming off. I yawned, stretched, blinked a couple of times, then got up to go see what had set her off. I stumble out of Suyeon and Elly's room, blinking against the bright light in the common area, and the first thing I notice is that there's a crowd of members around my bedroom door. The second thing I notice is that as soon as someone notices me, the crowd parts like magic, creating a direct pathway into my room. Apparently everybody wants me to see what's going on in there. So I walk in, still not completely awake, and look around. It actually doesn't take much looking around: Sei's bed is the first thing you see when you walk into the room, and Sei and Suyeon are asleep in Sei's bed. Not just asleep - cuddled up asleep. Suyeon has her arm around Sei and Sei has her head resting on Suyeon's shoulder. The reason behind Lucy's anger is now abundantly clear. "Sei!" I call out. Several times, getting progressively louder. Sei's not usually hard to wake up, but apparently this morning everything has decided to be more difficult. "Sei! Sei! Sei!" Finally she responds, sort of: She doesn't move, doesn't open her eyes, but asks "What?" "Sei!" I snap, trying to break through the wall of sleep, "you need to wake up! Do you know where your girlfriend is?" She still doesn't even open her eyes, just nods and says "She's right here." Then she puts her hand on Suyeon's stomach and goes back to sleep. "Sei! That's not your girlfriend! Open your eyes and see what you've done!" Apparently something I said finally penetrates her brain, because she lifts her head and opens her eyes. She looks down at Suyeon, then looks at me, and then notices all the other members clustered behind me. "Are all of our members in here watching me sleep?" Sei asks. "Not all of them," I say. "Lucy apparently took one look at you and ran off to her room to cry - with a detour on the way to throw a pillow at me." Her face shifts from confused to serious. "Oh no! I didn't want her to find out like this!" She jumps out of bed, looks down at her pajamas, looks at her closet, then realizes she can't change her clothes with everyone standing here, so she just runs past me, headed for Lucy's room. At least, I hope that's where she's headed. With Sei out of the way, I'm able to really look at Suyeon for the first time. Apparently our stylists need to be taking tips from Sei - I don't think I've ever seen Suyeon look this hot. Her hair is in a pair of braids running toward the back of her head. Even after she slept in it, you can tell that her makeup is top notch. And. . . Is she? I look carefully to be sure. She is!
