"Come on," I say as I grab Elly's arm to stop her, "let's take the other stairs. "What?" Elly asks, her confusion obvious. We never take the other stairs unless we have to. They're all the way at the other end of the building, so it's a lot more walking, especially since our apartment is right at the top of these stairs. I try to drag Elly away before she can see, not wanting to give her a chance to start drama with Lua. But apparently I'm not quick enough: she tells up at them "Get a room, you two! None of us want to see that!" I have got to stop this drama before it starts. I know how Elly feels about Lua, but for the good of the band, I can't let those feelings come out.
