When Elly calls us, everyone rushes to get to the dinner table — apparently everyone else is just as hungry as I am. Time to start putting my plan in motion. "It looks delicious!" I squeal as I run around the table to give Elly a hug, really overselling the “excited maknae” vibe. "Thank you unnie!" "Um. . . you're welcome?" Elly says awkwardly. She never really knew how to handle it when any of us show her affection, and especially not now that she’s with Rina, who gets all possessive and jealous over the slightest thing. "I couldn't have gotten it done in time without Rina's help," she adds, apparently hoping to direct my attention toward Rina, which works just fine for me. Lucy spin around and catch Rina up in a hug. "Thank you too!" I saw as I squeeze her tight. Then I grab Rina and Elly by the hands and led them to the table, arranging things so that I ended up sitting between them. When I look around the table, I see that everything is exactly how I would have wanted it: Doyeon and Yoojung are sitting next to each other, and Suyeon is sandwiched between Lua and Sei. As I’m sitting there eating my bibimbap, Lua leans over and whispers something in Suyeon's ear. Apparently whatever it is, it’s the right thing, because it makes Suyeon blush. Suddenly, I realize that Rina’s talking to her, and apparently has been for a little bit, and I have no idea what she’s been saying. Thinking quickly, I shake my head as if I’m coming out of a daydream, then turn to Rina. "What was that?" I ask. "Sorry - I kind of spaced out there." I do my best to look sheepish, and apparently it works. "Oh," Rina says, apparently willing to let me slide for my lapse in attention. "I was just saying that you seem to be really happy this evening." "I really am," I say as I lean in to give her another hug. I crank the enthusiasm. "It's been a really great day, don't you think? Getting to go to the Olympics and then having free time to hang out. . . Don't you think it was a great day?" Rina get silent for a moment and kind of shrinks in as she ponders this. Apparently she disagrees. "I don't know," she says quietly. "Elly and I got into a fight after we got back from the Olympics. By the time it was time to fix dinner, we had everything smoothed over, but I don't know if we solved anything." I’m not at all surprised here, especi
