Later the evening, Seyong and you met JB at your doorsteps.

 

JB: Park Dayoung, if I die today I’ll haunt you down!

Dayoung: sorry bestie xP don’t worry I’ll protect you. For sure

 

You flash him your signature smile plus a bonus eye smile.

 

JB: you can’t win Yongguk hyung. Hmm…maybe you a try pinning down Zelo…

 

He said with much thought. Unhappy that JB looked down on you, you took revenge by giving him a head lock.

 

Dayoung: yah! One more word from you and you’re dying in my hands instead of big oppa’s!

Daehyun: yah! Not coming in? Jung Dayoung, not enough trouble caused?

 

Daehyun came out of the house with a frown and his mask on.

 

Dayoung: aniyo oppa [, oppa must be feeling uneasy that Seyong is here ><]

 

You were feeling very nervous even though you were not showing it on your face. Your stomach felt like it was upside down inside out. You watched your brothers uneasily as they sat on the couch.

 

Dayoung: oppa, I’m home and…Seyong is here…too…

Seyong: annyeonghaseyo Kim Seyong imnida!

 

Seyong tried his best to say it as lively as possible but it failed when Zelo started to speak.

 

Zelo: we know that!

 

The maknae said while rolling his eyes.

 

Dayoung: Choi Junhong!!

Zelo:  ah noona! Waeyo!!!!

 

Zelo hated it when you call his real name in front of people that he was not close with. All of sat down in the living room. The atmosphere was tense, nobody dared to say anything.

Yongguk: so…

Himchan: hyung!

 

Yongguk finally started talking but was stopped by Himchan. You looked at Himchan and saw him gesturing towards the study room. Yongguk cleared his throat and continued.

 

Yongguk: I think it’s better if we go to the study and talk about it.

Dayoung: waeyo?!?!?!?!?!!?

Himchan: arasseo! Junhong you stay here with your noona.

Zelo: mwo?! Argh!!!!!

 

The study, a place where only the boys can go in. you never knew what was inside as they never allowed you to go in and what was best, it was sound proof. The boys stood up and went to the study. The older boys left the quickest with JB and Seyong behind them.

 

Dayoung: Daehyun oppa

Daehyun: don’t worry; I won’t let hyung do anything to JB and Seyong. You trust your oppa don’t you?

Jongup: nado nado ^^

 

Jongup said with his hands up in the air and his bunny smile. You thank them for being supportive and they went in the study before Yongguk could shout for them.

 

Zelo: noona, can I ask you something?

Dayoung: shoot

Zelo: how did you and Seyong---

 

Before he could continue his sentence you interrupted him and reminded him to add a ‘hyung’ at the back.

 

Zelo: fine, Seyong hyung! How did you…you know with all the hyungs “watching” you

Dayoung: are you serious? You want to know?! Why?

Zelo: honestly, you should have told me noona! How could JB hyung know and not I?

Dayoung: well…you know that mouth of yours! Wait till Yongguk oppa comes with your cherry tomatoes and everything will come out from your mouth!

 

You said and rolled your eyes. You felt that it was not a simple question and Zelo was hiding something from you.

 

Dayoung: yah, you’re hiding something aren’t you?

 

Zelo could not look at you in your eyes. It always happens when he did something wrong.

 

Zelo: I’m friends with Jinnie

 

He said in a very fast speed. You were shock and could not believe what you had heard.

 

Dayoung: wait till Yongguk oppa finds out. I swear he’ll hit the roof!!!

Zelo: we’ll deal with that later.

 

 

At the same time in the room, everyone was seated around the long table in the middle of the room, the atmosphere was very stiff until Daehyun spoke up first sitting like a boss on the chair leaning his back comfortably on the back rest of the chair.

 

Daehyun: I’m going to say this once only. I’m taking their side

Jongup: me…me too

 

Jongup stammered as he was afraid of Yongguk blowing his top. Yongguk took a deep breath and asked as nicely as he could.

 

Yongguk: how long was it again?

Seyong: 2 years

Yongguk: IM JAEBUM!

 

Everybody jumped when Yongguk suddenly shouted at JB

 

Yongguk: 2 freaking years?! How dare you hide it from us for 2 freaking years!!! LOYAL friend indeed!

 

He shouted with sarcasm in his sentence. JB stammered a little not daring to look at Yongguk, he hung his head low.

 

JB: hyung, I...I didn’t thought it was a problem though…

Yongguk: I’m not allowing this!!! Over my dead body!

Himchan: I know you are disappointed with our baby but…it’s her happiness he got the rights to do what she wants right?

 Yongguk: ARE YOU SIDING THEM TOO?!

 

Yongguk finally burst into anger. Seyong suddenly went down on his knees.

 

Seyong: hyung, please I’m serious about this

 

BAP was shock at his reaction. They were not expecting this as Seyong acts very proud and thought highly of himself in school.

 

Youngjae: hyung, he seems sincere…

Jongup: Seyong, stand up!

Yongguk: what’s your motive?

 

The boys were shock by his sudden question. Daehyun could not stand this drama and rebutted.

 

Daehyun: oh please Yongguk hyung! Have you been watching too many war movies or soap opera dramas where they get into relationships for benefits?! Huh?!

  

Ignoring Daehyun he stomped out of the room. You looked at the opening door and saw an angry Yongguk appearing from behind the door.

 

Yongguk: Park Dayoung! In your room NOW!!!!

Dayoung: [he used my surname instead of his >< dead meat!!!!] oppa…I….

Yongguk: get your into your room and hand your phone over!

Daehyun: hyung! You are not…

Zelo: grounding noona?!?!?!

 

Yongguk ignored the commotion Zelo and Daehyun was making.

 

Yongguk: you better listen while I’m still taking nicely and I don’t want to see the 2 of you together!

 

You handed your phone over and went up to your room.

 

Yongguk: MOON JONGUP! YOU SIT WITH DAYOUNG FROM NOW ONWARDS! AND ALL OF YOU! DON’T YOU DARE TRY ANYTHING FUNNY LIKE HELPING HER ESCAPE OR HELPING THEM TO MEET!!! ARASSEO!!!

 

Before any of them could say anything, the main door opened in came their aunt Ga-in holding bags of groceries.

 

Ga-in: yah, are all of you going to just stand…there?

 

She felt something was wrong. She eyed the oldest boy and saw he was a little guilty.

 

Ga-in: erm…anything wrong? Seyong?

 

Zelo ran up to Ga-in to “complain” hoping that he could save his noona but was pulled back by Yongguk. He struggled and managed to say “noona grounded”. Yongguk knew he was in deep and wanted to explain but before even he could do so, Ga-in pulled his ears and scolded.

 

Ga-in: yah, Bang Yongguk! Hand over the phone don’t you remember what my oppa always tell you?

Yongguk: ahhhhhhhh IMO!!!!!! Not in front of him!!!!!!!!

 

Himchan wanted to run away but was too late.

 

Ga-in: Kim Himchan! Don’t you dare run!!

 

She caught him and twisted his ears too.

 

Himchan: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I didn’t do anything wrong!!!!!

 

Ga-in: now tell me! What had my oppa always said when he was still around!

 

Yongguk unwillingly repeated whatever Doojun had said.

 

Yongguk: appa said…Dayoung is the only girl at home…treat her like one…wait, it doesn’t have any link with me grounding her!!!

Ga-in: no link?! Oppa said to respect her decisions too!!!!

Yongguk: ah, right.

 

Ga-in turned to Seyong and JB who was stood rooted behind.

 

Ga-in: all of you to the living room now! ALL!!

 

She said as she took your phone out of Yongguk’s grip and went up to your room. She gently knocked on the door. You stood up and unlocked the door allowing her to enter.

 

Dayoung: imo…

Ga-in: her, your phone

 

You took the phone and went back to the bed and you hugged your knees still feeling upset about your brother.

 

Ga-in: cheer up baby girl, they’ll accept him soon.

Dayoung: you won’t understand imo…

Ga-in: don’t understand?! “like father, like son” get it my dear?

Dayoung: ne? but appa dote on you so much!

Ga-in: my oppa is the same as yours. Exactly the same! Nobody would believe they aren’t blood related.

 

You were so shocked that you immediately sat up all ears up preparing an exciting story.

 

Ga-in: I see a shock baby! Hahahahas! Well…I fell in love with this guy, totally different from your dad and his friends who were also Kingkas like your brothers----

Dayoung: BEAST samchoo?

 

Your aunt nodded her head and continued her story.

 

Ga-in: the guy had good results, no looks like BEAST oppas. Mmm…studies were obviously way better than theirs, his group of friends were gentle, nice, dorky at times unlike BEAST oppas and he have small eyes like me not that ----

Dayoung: mwo?! Jokwon samchoo?!?!

 Ga-in: yah~~ so clever!

Dayoung: but why appa didn’t allow? He’s a nice guy!

Ga-in: just because he’s short and not as good looking as BEAST ^^ but look where are we now? Still standing strong as always :)

 

You sighed thinking of Yongguk that thick-headed oppa of yours, stubborn like an old man. There will be no way they will accept Seyong that easily.

 

Ga-in: feeling better? I’m going down to lecture the boys now, you coming down? Free show you know?

 

You shook your head and Ga-in left the room.
