Prologue
Assassin Girl
One dark and stormy night, though the streets of midnight Seoul, ran a man clad in a dark brown coat. In his hands was a black, leather briefcase which he clutched on to tightly, ignoring the fact that he was drenched by the rain. He was panting and kept looking back as he made his way through the empty roads with terror in his eyes.
Someone was following him.
The footsteps of his pursuer were slow and steady. With each step that echoed through the area, the man grew more and more terrified. “L-Leave me alone!” he cried as he tried to make the gap between him and the dark figure wider.
“Someone! Someone help me!” he desperately called out while running like a mad man through the streets. Unfortunately for him, no one was around.
*Tap* ... *Tap* ... *Tap* ...The footsteps continued.
“Please! Just leave me alone! I beg you!!!” the man kept shouting.
Suddenly...
Silence.
...
The man stopped and looked around, still trembling. His pursuer was gone. He felt himself break into cold sweat despite the rainwater already running down throughout his entire body.
He gulped down the lump on his throat.
