Moment of Truth

Dangerous

"You could have told me I have bed hair!" WooHyun whined as he tried to fix his hair in the reflection of the metro train window. He scowled at DongWoo as the elder just laughed at him and ruffled his hair, messing it up even more. "Hey hey hey! Don't touch!" He slapped DongWoo's hand away and tried to flatten his hair into some sort of neat style. With the jerking motion of the train as it pulled into each stop, WooHyun eventually gave up and pouted as he leant against a divide.
DongWoo pinched his cheek and laughed. "You look so cute when you're upset." Sticking his tongue out at the elder, WooHyun pulled his phone out of his pocket to check the time. Ten minutes had turned into thirty because DongWoo refused to let him go. It took a few stern words from WooHyun and a spray of cold water to get DongWoo to get ready. WooHyun could still see traces of damp clinging to the tips of the elder's fringe and smiled.
"Yah hyung..." He nudged DongWoo with the toe of his boot. Leaning in to him, DongWoo felt WooHyun's lips against his ear as he whispered into the shell. "No matter what happens today, let's go back to your mum's house tonight..." In the crowd, WooHyun's hand against DongWoo's crotch went completely undetected. Trying not to blush at the younger's boldness, DongWoo turned his head to reply.
"On one condition..." WooHyun hummed in affirmation. "You tell me everything you did with SungGyu so I can better it." The younger snorted, he'd had a feeling DongWoo would want to know eventually. Giving him a sly kiss on the cheek as they came into a station, the movement of the crowd forced them apart. Keeping his back pressed against the divider, WooHyun watched as DongWoo reached up to hold onto the bar above his head to keep himself steady.
Admiring his muscular body when they were alone, and doing dirty things to each other was one thing. Admiring them in a crowded public place where an was certain to cause problems was definitely completely different. Even if he wanted to WooHyun couldn't stop himself staring at the way the elder's milky skin was pulled tight over his muscles. His arms and thick neck were enough to send tingles down WooHyun's spine.
Catching the younger's eye, DongWoo winked at him and smirked as he turned his head in the other direction. Biting his lip, WooHyun had to shift his position to make sure the strain in his pants wasn't visible to the train's population. Needless to say the rest of the journey was rather uncomfortable for WooHyun, he sighed in relief as the train finally pulled into their station. As he stepped off the train, WooHyun instantly turned to look for DongWoo, grabbing his arm as he got off in a crowd of people and was in danger of being pulled the wrong way.
As they walked towards the exit, WooHyun could feel the butterflies coming alive in his stomach. His fingers tightened against DongWoo's arm as they stepped onto the escalator, afraid to let him go in case they were separated. Patting his hand gently, DongWoo shot him a comforting smile, realising how nervous the younger must be. "Hey...It's okay!" He called cheerfully, trying to inject a little confidence into WooHyun. "SungGyu took it well to start with so I'm sure the others will too."
WooHyun said nothing as they reached the top of the escalator. He resented having to let go of DongWoo to go through the barriers and waited impatiently to go through after the elder. Holding a hand out to him as he came through, DongWoo curled his arm around WooHyun's shoulders and led him out of the station. He could feel WooHyun shaking and sighed, the younger's anxiety would only get worse the closer they got to the dorm.
"WooHyun ah..." He pulled the younger into an alley and pushed him against the wall, taking his chin. "Look at me." DongWoo demanded, holding his chin steady. "WooHyun." The younger raised his eyes to meet DongWoo's and chewed on his lip nervously. "I wont let anything bad happen, I promise." WooHyun's eyes slipped shut as DongWoo's lips pressed against his forehead. Pulling himself into DongWoo's chest, WooHyun hid his face in the elder's shoulder and shivered silently against him.
"The sooner we get there the sooner it'll be over with, okay?" DongWoo continued, tightening his fingers into WooHyun's back. "Everything will be out in the open..." He felt the younger nod into his shoulder and relaxed his grip, allowing WooHyun to take a step back. Rubbing his hands over his face, WooHyun took a deep breath and nodded again. "You okay?" His large, dark pupils met DongWoo's with a shaky smile.
"No but having you here makes things a little better...Thank you..." He checked his phone and sighed. "We're already half an hour late..." Slipping his arm through WooHyun's, DongWoo pulled him towards the dorm. In a way he was glad the younger showed a little resistance. He didn't like his lover to be so agitated but at least his feelings were real. The closer they got to the dorm the more WooHyun's pace slowed. It got to the point that DongWoo was practically dragging him down the road.
"Doesn't it bother you at all?" WooHyun whined as they approached the lobby of the apartment block. "Your secret's going to be revealed here too!" DongWoo stopped and looked at him, the amusement plain on his face. "Why is it so funny?" The younger squeaked as DongWoo grabbed the back of his neck and pulled their faces together, stopping just before their lips touched. Staring at the elder in shock, WooHyun couldn't even bring himself to put a little distance between their faces.
"There's one thing you should know about me WooHyun ah...I'm disappointed that you forgot it already." DongWoo let him go and turned to look up at the apartment block. "When do I ever let anything bother me?" He asked, tilting his head to glance back at the younger. It was a valid point, WooHyun had to give him that. "Besides. If I was as uptight about it as you are we'd never get anywhere." He laughed as WooHyun's palm connected with his shoulder. "I'm not ashamed of who I am and you shouldn't be either."
He rocked himself up onto his toes before walking towards the lobby. WooHyun stared at his back in awe before laughing and running to catch up. He was right...Being gay was part of who he was and that was nothing to be ashamed of. The path he had taken to get to that point, on the other hand...He wasn't proud of that at all.

As soon as they stepped into the dorm WooHyun was greeted by an over excited SungJong. The younger threw himself at WooHyun and hugged him so tightly the elder could hardly breathe. Hoya couldn't help but smile at how different SungJong acted around WooHyun compared to how nervous he'd been for the duration of the wait for them to arrive. The ruckus the younger members created at their return had alerted SungGyu to their presence. MyungSoo heard the bedroom door close and looked around, his eyes narrowed as he tested the handle to find it locked.
"Real mature hyung." He shouted through the door before going to greet WooHyun and DongWoo himself. SungJong was still clung tightly to WooHyun and apparently DongWoo had already been greeted by SungYeol and Hoya. MyungSoo smiled at the elder and hugged him warmly. "It's good to have you back..." He murmured, relaxing into DongWoo's arms as the elder rubbed his back.
"It's good to be back." DongWoo replied as they parted. "Is SungGyu...?" MyungSoo jolted his head towards the bedroom door and rolled his eyes. Behind them, SungJong had finally let go of WooHyun and allowed him space to remove his coat and shoes. Hoya moved quicker than SungYeol did and pulled the elder into a tight hug, something WooHyun and the rest of the members never thought they'd witness.
WooHyun stood, stunned, for a moment before softening into the embrace and hugging Hoya back with as much warmth at the younger was giving him. "I hope you realise now how running away doesn't solve anything..." Hoya mumbled into his shoulder. WooHyun laughed, embarrassed, and nodded as the younger pulled back. Looking around for DongWoo, WooHyun watched as he knocked on the bedroom door. SungGyu was obviously inside and by the look of things, he'd locked himself in.
SungYeol took his turn to greet WooHyun, who accepted his hug with a wide smile. SungJong had disappeared to join MyungSoo in the kitchen. "SungGyu!" DongWoo called through the door, knocking against the wood again. "You're gonna want to come out you know." WooHyun bit his lip as he watched DongWoo try to coax the elder out of the bedroom. "This involves you as much as everyone else. I'm sure you'll want to have your say."
MyungSoo nudged his hip into SungJong's before tilting his head towards the bedroom. "He makes it sound like SungGyu hyung's involved..." He whispered, SungJong glanced out, watching DongWoo rest his forehead on the door as he waited for a response from SungGyu, before looking back at MyungSoo. "Like really involved." SungJong nodded and leant in to whisper in the elder's ear.
"WooHyun was on the phone to Hoya earlier...He said that SungGyu was involved...and DongWoo, obviously..." MyungSoo pulled back with raised eyebrows. He glanced over SungJong's shoulder at DongWoo before busying himself with the tea again. The more he thought about it the more awkward it all seemed. No wonder WooHyun had been so panicky yesterday...MyungSoo smiled, DongWoo must have imparted some of his wisdom on WooHyun.
"Oh, WooHyun ah..." Hoya beckoned the elder male to join him in his and SungJong's bedroom. As he slipped inside, Hoya closed the door and looked at him with a somewhat troubled expression. "I meant to say yesterday..." He gestured at a pile on the floor, WooHyun glanced at it, sighing heavily as he realised what it consisted of. "SungJong got really upset about it...So he brought all your stuff in here." WooHyun looked back at Hoya, shivering lightly as he let his gaze fall to the ground. "He was the only one here when SungGyu started throwing your stuff out of the room..."
Running his fingers through his hair, WooHyun opened the door and looked out. "DongWoo hyung." He called. The elder looked up and left SungGyu's bedroom door without a second's hesitation as WooHyun beckoned him over. SungYeol, quickly ran across the dorm and made a series of wild hand movements to alert SungJong and MyungSoo to the situation.
The three of them peered around the kitchen doorway as DongWoo looked into the room. "Kim SungGyu!" He yelled, a pair of hands wrapped quickly around his chest to stop him storming across the dorm and breaking the door down. Seeing DongWoo angry was something the younger members would never get used to. It was impossible for the three in the kitchen to tell who was holding DongWoo back.
"We came here to make things better remember..." WooHyun murmured into his back, squeezing his eyes shut in effort to keep the elder male in the bedroom. It amazed Hoya at how quickly DongWoo calmed down at WooHyun's words. Sighing heavily, DongWoo turned in WooHyun's grip and hugged him just as tightly as the younger was holding onto him. "If SungGyu wont come out then that's his choice..."

SungGyu sat on his bed with his hands clasped tightly between his thighs. He stared at the empty wardrobe that used to hold all of WooHyun's clothes without a hint of emotion. What was he supposed to feel? He was selfish for being hurt, angry at being used, upset for letting himself get into that situation to start with...He couldn't deny he liked WooHyun but he was sure it was just as friends.
And now even his friendship lay in tatters. The band was in worse trouble than any of them were willing to admit. Rubbing his hand over his face, SungGyu sighed and lay back into his pillows. Why was it so hard to let WooHyun go? He would be happier with DongWoo than with him but for some reason...There was a part of him that missed the softness of WooHyun's lips.
He moaned and rolled onto his side, pulling the duvet up over his head so he could pretend the rest of the world didn't exist. The way he was acting was pitiful, he knew that...But his heart hurt as much as his head did as he tried to work out what he actually wanted. Maybe that did make him selfish...More concerned about his own emotions and what he wanted than what was right for everyone.
His phone vibrated in his pocket. Instead of looking at who the text was from, SungGyu ignored it and closed his eyes, trying to sleep rather than wrap himself up in over complicated thought processes. Another text came through, irritating him a little. He pulled the device out of his pocket and dropped it onto the bed without looking at the screen. Silence fell outside of the room as well, making him wonder if they'd left the dorm to talk instead of hanging around waiting for him to come out.
Curiosity got the better of him. He grabbed his phone and looked at the texts. Both were from DongWoo. 'Stop being a child and come out here. Don't you want to tell your side of the story?' SungGyu scowled at the screen and deleted the message. His phone automatically opened up the second. 'Can you imagine yourself ing WooHyun? If you can't then don't you think he deserves someone who can?'  Sighing, SungGyu dropped his phone back onto the duvet and pulled his pillow up over his head.
DongWoo always came up with legitimate thinking points. Exactly what SungGyu didn't need right now. His head swam with information, feelings, questions...everything. The harsh reality was exactly what DongWoo questioned him on. Could he imagine himself sleeping with WooHyun? Eventually the younger would want and he deserved to be with someone who wouldn't hesitate to give it to him. Which pulled another question into the mix. Had DongWoo and WooHyun had already? if they had then SungGyu wasn't any competition...
The idea putting his inside another man's turned his stomach, as much as he hated to admit it, DongWoo was right. He could grow to be comfortable with kissing WooHyun and touching his body in private places. In his mind he could replace WooHyun with a girl or remove him completely...Pretend he was touching himself instead...He imagined he could survive with WooHyun him off too but the other way around...
He gagged and let a solid shiver run up his spine. There was no imaginings that could replace the reality of having a between his lips. SungGyu screwed his eyes up tight and pressed the pillow harder against his face. WooHyun was too feminine to ever pin SungGyu down and penetrate him, which was a relief...The only way he and SungGyu would have was if SungGyu was the one topping. It was bad enough kissing someone and pretending they were someone else, SungGyu definitely wouldn't be able to sleep with WooHyun while imagining someone else's body instead of his.
WooHyun deserved better than that...And so did SungGyu. It would ruin their friendship beyond repair if WooHyun found out he'd been thinking of someone else while ing him. He was going to have to work his off to get the younger to forgive him for the way he'd acted already. Sighing again, SungGyu pushed the duvet off and flung the pillow across the room. He stood, straightened his clothes and walked to the door.
A good place to start making amends was to support WooHyun while he told the others, he guessed. Unlocking the door, SungGyu took a deep breath and opened it. The quiet sounds from the living room were made a little louder now that an inch of wood was removed from between them. SungGyu stepped out and peered around the corner just as WooHyun spoke. "The reason I've been so weird lately..." The pause wasn't for dramatic effect. WooHyun swallowed his fears and clung tighter to DongWoo's arm. "It's because I'm gay."
