I used Jeju as the setting because I miss It Happened in Jeju! I hope we've all read it for it's such a good Jiji couple fanfic. I'll be patiently waiting for your comeback, author genxiv :)
 

Chapter 23: Jeju

 

Bong Hee: Go to sleep.
Ji Wook: I've had a hard time sleeping for two days. Why can't we get our own room?! We're married!
Bong Hee: Jagiya, we already talked about this. (lowers her voice) We don't want Ji Hae to get her own room, right?
Ji Wook: Can she just sleep in Sun Woo's room? Sun Woo is nice, I promise he won't do anything-
Bong Hee: Noh Ji Wook!
Ji Wook: (laughs nervously) Sorry.
Yoo Jung: Bong Hee! Turn the lights off and hang up already! Wookie, go to sleep!
Ji Wook: Aisht!
Bong Hee: (laughs) Jagiya. I need to hang up. These girls are so close to killing me in my sleep.
Ji Wook: (sighs) Okay. Sweet dreams, my Bbong. I love you.
Bong Hee: (smiles) Sweet dreams. Good night. And I love you, too.

Eun Hyuk: I think the girls are still sleeping.
Sun Woo: God, I'm hungry. The food is not going to wait longer, you know?
Ji Wook: Did Yoo Jung answer your call?
Eun Hyuk: No.
Ji Wook: Hmm.. Bong Hee doesn't answer, too. I tried to call Ji Hae and it just goes straight to voice mail.
Eun Hyuk: (sighs) Man. I'm so hungry. Can we please eat?
Ji Wook: (frowns) You can go ahead. I'll wait for my wife.
Sun Wook and Eun Hyuk look at each other and then started eating.

Ji Wook's phone rings. He sees Prosecutor Cha's nams on the screen and quickly answers the call.

Ji Wook: Hello?
Yoo Jung: Wookie! Is Bong Hee with you?
Ji Wook: What? No.. She's not there?!
Yoo Jung: I wonder where she went. She's not answering her phone.. She's not here when we woke up..
Ji Wook: Where could she possibly be..

When Ji Wook hung up, he immediately dialed Bong Hee's number again.

Ji Wook: Please pick up, please pick up..

Suddenly two hands are covering his eyes.

"Guess who.."

He sighs, relieved that she's here. "Bong Hee." He can feel her smiling.

She uncovers his eyes and wraps her arms around him. She kisses his cheek.

Bong Hee: Good morning, jagiya..
Ji Wook: (caresses her arm) Jagiya.. You made me worry.
Bong Hee: Huh? Why?
She sits beside him and greets Eun Hyuk and Sun Woo good morning. Eun Hyuk texts Yoo Jung that Bong Hee just arrived.
Ji Wook: Where have you been?!
Bong Hee: (smiles) I bought you something!
Ji Wook: Really.
Bong Hee: Yes! (She gives Ji Wook a paper bag and she's smiling from ear to ear.)
